This will all be fine.

Well folks,
This looks like the end of the road for AM.  Friedcat has abandoned it.  I secretly hope this nudges him out, but all indications are that he has left the building.  Another one bites the dust. Sad

This is very sad to hear. Really doesn't sound Friedcat-like at all. Why would the guy who has always gone out of his way to make things right do this?

Only reason I can think of would be that be300 turned out to be a total failure.

Can you elaborate further on what makes you think FC abandoned the company?
Rats from a sinking ship mode.
What branch of the people's regulatory enforcement policia should I start cage rattling at first, you think?
I still don't know what FC was doing for the last two years but I hear they need tech leaders in Chinese  gulag. You know. To run gold farms and click fraud circles n shit

It amazed me how much hope was given for so long that something bad was not going to happen considering the rest of the mining ecosystem.  There is some strong believers around here.

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote

It's like when active miner was dropping its uterus all over the floor. By some coincidence, the shares were also untradable as well, how do these guys profit from this? Or are they just trying to erase their tracks?

I'm not above profiting from the paranoia circulating in this thread. If you really want out and think your shares are worthless PM me your offer, I'm buying.  If I don't reply, I'm not interested at your price.

As for Dhenson, I remember him mostly from Cryptx petamine that he claimed he kept buying while it began crumbling,  while calling everyone that did first grade math a paid troll...

Oh yeah, NOW I remember.  Thanks.

What irks me the most about this mess is that AM was is the position to succeed all along. They had good chips/hardware, and they had the connections (or could have easily) to deploy in mass (inner Mongolia like every other Chinese manufacturer).

Why does it seem like they just sat on their hands and didn't even make much of an effort? Seems the only problem was extreme incompetence/shit execution. (There could be a more understandable reason, but without any info this is just my best guess.)

Why couldn't they have taken ~half of that 60 PH/s and deployed that in inner Mongolia in July? Why was Bitmain able to completely swallow AM with similarly efficient hardware? If AM was struggling to get any sales, why does it seem like they make no effort to sell?

I'm now starting to seriously wonder if FC was an investor in Bitmain (or created BM like many speculated when it first showed up).

IF FC decides to show up, I really hope that he steps down as CEO and hires someone with business management skills.

This should circulate out and contact should be made - I am sure some of us can reach out to HK and have news/updates for us.
I worry friedcat slipped more than ran: when dealing with the piles of money he did, I'm sure it would attract a fair share of hawks.

My point being I thought I remembered you from somewhere.  If you're the dhenson from the link above, I suppose I can expand by saying that you're a con artist's wet dream.
I've even considered offering you advice re. avoidance of such unpleasantries, but thought better of it.  You'd just ignore it.  I know this because that's exactly how you behaved in the past, when I warned you about your previous "investments."

shares are all in havelock and untouchable. at this point i have my doubts i will ever see them again.
if havelock does come back and my assets are intact, i plan to try and exploit whatever hysteria comes about surrounding this garbage and try and wangle at least 0.5 per.
if that dont work out- 0.2

I'm in hong Kong at the moment and am entertaining the idea of dropping in there. But I don't don't speak the language well, and don't know who I'm asking for (other than a couple of forum tagnames) or what they look like

Does anyone have the slightest shred of evidence that Friedcat bailed, or that any of the claims for the new chips are false.  All I see is one vague statement by Canary, and another one stating he wants to shake Friedcat out of hiding.

If you look back our feline friend went from January 29 to March 24 last year without posting an update while the BE200 was in a similar stage of development.  I don't see any reason to freak out when he does it again this year.  If any of you have any real evidence of malfeasance, please bring it forward, otherwise please stop wasting my time with your baseless speculation.

In the meantime, I'll join Dhenson with an offer to buy your "worthless" shares.

https://www.bw.com/

EDIT:

The stats page claims that the pool is running 34Ph/s (~390 BTC Daily) but it looks like they are hitting almost double that according to the pool address.

They must be running a private pool for around 26Ph/s or have their own mining power.

James what is see BW hasharate fluctuate a lot, but total hashrate does not change in same way, so I am convinced they are in partnership with someone else, I know they have miners from our Chinese friends but dont know if 100%

You Labcoiners...

...I would like to personally thank Stu, Vela, Zum, and all the others who have put all the work in for me to scoop up more [Labcoin-ed.] shares below .003.  I wasn't going to buy any more, but at this price AFTER hashing has started, how can I resist?

But seriously though, how do you propose to buy AM shares held on Havelock ...with Havelock offline and FC incommunicado?

That said, I'm not sure you'd get to speak to him.  Or, for that matter, whether he's really the person to speak to Smiley
But there's sure to be somebody there to speak to you or escort you out of the building - either way, an adventure!

P.S.
The official website www.iasicminer.com is back! I think some staffs are back to the work.
Yes, glad to see iasicminer.com was (and still is) back up - needed to grab some references off of there that archive.org had failed to cache Smiley
