It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Each original owner of bitfointain has their own dividend address,

Don't think so. Bitfountain has 200'000 shares, and that's evenly divided in 15h6 and 1HgT address.

^^^ Never mind, there it is

Allow me to share you a post I made last fall

Yeah, just as I expected early in the summer when rockminer et all. launched.

AM is being bled dry into more favorable business contracts and such. Sad to see, but its true. Dividends will be non existent for at least 6 months.

The only silver lining here is that cloud mining is the future so if gen4 chips can even be remotely competitive they do fill a void in the market space as many of the basic companies are moving away from chip sales.

But let's be honest about that, AM is being bled out.

There are three addresses that are generally accepted as belonging to "Bitfountain".

I am going to make a pre-announcement to serve some open questions.
a) financials statements are currently in preparation and start getting processed next week. Dependent on how long the accountant needs, the financial statements should be accessible shortly after
b) FC has committed to making a dividend payment soon to clear OTC and provide a new public checkpoint for shareholder balances.
c) The need for a better information handling with shareholders is being recognized and it's been suggested to prepare a dedicated website to handle company matters. It's part of an internal restructuring effort. I'll let the responsible person provide more details, but I assume that suggestions from shareholders on the best way to implement it (e.g. forum, realtime chat room, ticket systems) are welcome.
d) the good news is that the company is alive and kicking. Based on my assessment they have a solid product and new stuff in the pipeline, which should allow the company to generate revenues to sustain growth. The biggest advantage of AM is its focus on cost competitiveness and solid relationships with suppliers, which allows them to grow the company organically. The bad news is that a lot of opportunity got lost in FY14 and supply chain and product problems prevented AM from generating the expected profit margins. That said FY14 has been a bad year for most companies in the mining space, and thus AM is not a particular exception.
e) AM has enough funding to stay in business independent of BTC valuation for a considerable amount of time.
f) The low valuation of AM has not gone unnoticed. While valuation is currently not an impediment to AM's business, it is recognized as a weakness and may have to be dealt with appropriately at a future point in time.

According to Jutarul AM was holding a large amount of Fiat (inferred from bolded refrence above).  I would be very interested to know if that has / is being drained as well.

This corroborates an earlier statement, which indicated the hashes were "out of control".

+1

I was quick to make assumptions and blame this whole mess on FC's incompetence, but now I think there's much more to the story. I really hope nothing terrible happened to FC like getting kidnapped/extorted. Hopefully he just needed an extra long/private holiday break and will come back to make things right like the FC we all know.

allow me to aid you in your quest as you are to simple to use google picture search function.

right click image, search google for this image and like magic it brings you to here - https://twitter.com/rockminerinc

This holds the same single pic that I posted above. Other pics does not look like FC.

https://twitter.com/RockMinerInc/media

I might be simple but I know when to use to, too and two.

can someone identify FC's wallet?
we could at least follow the coins from there, if they are moving.
if they go to a mixer=scam
if they go to manufacturers, or other legit entities=not scam
pretty simple if any of these wallets can be confirmed.
I personally think FC has met with foul play
in which case, following his coins could very well lead to nabbing the thugs
also
isnt mongolia a huge desolate wasteland? he could be lost/stranded/injured/sick
hopefully in the care of some kind natives in a nice warm yurt, awaiting help from the civilized world?

the whole thing makes my stomach sink, but if FC has actually met with harm, he does have my sympathy

oh yeah, and before I forget...

Some first results:

Apparently, Friedcat name is Della Lu, at asicminer.usb@gmail.com unconfirmed yet, but under investigation

Thanks for the bit FastByte33, if this confirms, you have earned a seat on the hunt

there was talk of FC going to present gifts to some other chip dudes just a week or 2 ago-chinese new year stuff.
he was last online here january 26th
fuuuuuuuuu
if i was a chinese btc mining mogul operating in Mongolia, i would for sure hire a couple of heavily armed body guards. that's a perfectly legit business expenditure if you ask me.
Russia on one side, rural china provinces on the other...sounds worse than los angeles' skid row after midnight.

i feel like FC's wallet would have much more in it, if not much more tx history at least.
he controls the bitfountain wallet that pays divs etc.
it should show millions going through it
wouldnt it?

AM giftboxes were already received.  I wouldn't mind one of the AM towels.  Or a full giftbox Smiley

friedcat's name has been mentioned several times in the various threads (and doesn't match 'Della Lu'). The Block Erupter USB address probably hasn't been checked in well over a year, but I suppose you might as well try - ask if they've got some leftover stock (and towels!) while you're at it.  Maybe if something is unconfirmed, you just shouldn't post it.

The address AirWolf listed isn't even the one associated with the sale of 200 BE USB's. The right address is 17ZhvKgk95bEK6rbLf5FPC8eE1xf8HdKe9.
