Yea but I'm warming up my F5 finger

I'm warming up my ⌘+R finger(s) Smiley

I'm too lazy to search, what's the record AM dividend?

And are we going to beat it today?

Possible but unlikely this week. I would say likely in 2 weeks when we see the sales from blades gone through.

Out of curiosity, are Eric M. and myself the only Canadian AM shareholders here? I know we have more lurking in the shadows!

You can add me to the list of lurking Canadian shareholders.  Wednesday is no longer hump day; it's climax day!  Shocked

We're in Vancouver.   :-)

Alberta!!! RD And thriving after all that flooding
If I knew their were that many Canadians here would have said Happy Canada day in the thread  Grin

Another Vancouverite who loves Wednesdays.

All those Canadians. Am I the only Dutch shareholder? Roll Eyes

Dutch Canadian who loves Wednesdays in Vancouver Cool

(only 50% by blood/heritage)

Another Vancouverite! Though I'm more of a Friday person (BF PT) Tongue
We should have a ASICMiner meet up. We can go too the Cambie and try to get everyone to buy AM shares.

+1 for AM meetup

Haha, if AM becomes undervalued again that sounds good Smiley We're golden for now so let's just party Cool

I'm pretty surprised at how many people from Vancouver are on here!  Something that might interest you guys: we're starting The Bitcoin Co-op, our mission to support Bitcoin (in variety of ways) - membership will be open to everyone but we've been meeting at my place (in Kitsilano) every Monday @ 7pm.  I believe there are a few AM shareholders among our group as well, maybe we're so seemingly overrepresented here 'cause Vancouverit'es know how to pick 'em!

feels like if the div is indeed high, then its an better place to hedge against current falling prices in btc, verses changing to fiat, I'd take my chances:)

That might be the case, just be aware that if you buy a stock like this based on a high projected dividend, you can expect the share price to fall later if the high dividends stop flowing. But for now IMO the serious downside risk occurs above 5.3-5.5BTC per share

I don't want to stop your enthusiasm, but can someone help me out with the math here? As I see it, we have the mining income which should result in roughly a 0.017 dividend + hardware sales. BUT, do we know of anymore than the 2000 USB Block erupters sold via btc guild? Those would just be an additional 1900 btc. divided by 400000 that leaves us with an additional 0.00475 per share. So dividend around 0.02175..

Are Blades being sold? My last news was they were temporarily sold out...

Where should the record dividend come from?

I might be blind or I just don't know where to look. Can you point me to other sales conducted last week or any sellers? Links would be great. Thank you!

mainly CanaryInTheMine. But my estimate stands at about 4000 USB miners sold (together), so 0.026 div/share

Thank you very much. I was looking in the Marketplace / Goods subsection. Mining / Hardware / Group Buys was unexpected.

The average of the last 6 dividends (not including the 7th which kicked it off at 0.036) is 0.026

0.026*52/5.15*100 = 26% APR

We're still okay....... but please don't go to 6 BTC before we see a nice 0.025+ dividend to keep us around 30%. Thanks.

That's not how you calculate APR, the correct APR for 0.5% per week is about 30% per year
