What is our current estimate of how many chips have been sold, in total?

Everything is sold.

All chips from April 8.5 Ph/s batch and maybe part of 33.5 Ph/s May batch too. IIRC Friedcat/Jutarul mentioned, that clients for first months(!) of production are fully covered, and this announcement was months ago, even before tape-out.

Expect the flood by the end of month.

The dividend schedule will be aggressive, as AM will not require large sums of retained capital. The rationale is that AM doesn't need to invest large sums into infrastructure and that the majority of chip production costs will be covered by the business partners on a contract schedule. The new round of dividends are scheduled to begin as soon as the first large purchases have concluded and should precede or coincide with the publication of the updated financial statements.

1) When can we expect the financial report that's supposed to coincide with the next round of dividends?
re

1) May 27.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

They doesn't pre-sold like other companies, they just book clients for months ahead. And they are selling finished product. Not promises.

About upping production. They are : 850 000 chips in April, 3 350 000 chips in May, 6 700 000 in June from 160 000 000 chips total of gen3. Meanwhile working on gen4.

And which was the price for 1 chip? I remember around $0.5 per Gh, having each chip ~12Gh, but I'm not sure at all. if I'm right with my maths, dividends in the upcoming months should be similar to the old golden days... Amazing.  Am I missing something?

Where did all these chips go? It seems someone has a large number of AM chips, but is keeping quiet about it.

from 160 000 000 chips total of gen3.
whatt?! where did you get those numbers? Shocked

Its upper limit from :

1) What is the order of magnitude of 3rd generation chips ASICMiner anticipates to sell (total / first batch / first 3 months)?
re 1) Order of magnitude: Depending on fab capacity. Total target is 10k to 40k wafers, relying on competitors, Bitcoin price, and other factors. A wafer is rated at 40 TH/s.

also I see that you're calculating 0.5$ profit per Gh/s ... selling price is from 0.49$ (unlikely for first batches) to 0.99$ (more likely), production costs -0.2$ Gh/s, put this into sheet Wink

Where did all these chips go? It seems someone has a large number of AM chips, but is keeping quiet about it.

We don't need to know as far as dividends are flowing Wink

For the next round of questions, I propose to ask whether more batches after batch 3 are still planned.

I believe gen 4 to still take quite some time!

I don't want to believe anything, conjectures are useless, that's why I would ask that to have some actual information about its status.

I don't argue that getting to know a first timeframe for gen 4 is a good idea! I'm just trying to manage expectations here...

I thought there will be a gen 3.1 before.

3.1 is effectively the current generation. It is not a new chip, only a new package, AFAIK.

Are we waiting for gen3.1 or still for gen3 chips?

There's no difference in production time. AFAIK they simply enlarge an area when packaging the chip or something similar in order to get rid of the heat better. There's no change in the circuits themselves, so no tapeout, test batches or anything. Like when you ordered 100 cars and before/while they are being made you tell the factory to paint them in another color.

What is our current estimate of how many chips have been sold, in total?
- 23k to Rockminer
- 72k to LightningASIC
- an unknown, but supposedly large, number to Hashratio.

So maybe ~200k total that we know of?
Any news/rumors that I missed?

Not sure if hashratio or rockminer have built their solo farms yet but hashratio is expected 2ph and rockminer 1ph

Where is the information about the rockminer solo farm?

Can't believe how low the share price is. Picked up a few today - wish I could pick up a few more. The dividend schedule seems like a given.

Where is the information about the rockminer solo farm?

Somewhere in rockxies ipo thread. IIRC theyhad a goal of selling 10ph.

Looks like hashratio solofarm is up to 115th. Soon to be 1ph:

Quote
in a few days it should be deployed between the 500T-1000T, please God fish testify!

Side note: I don't think we should expect the first batch of chips to be sold for much more than $0.5/gh considering hashratio manifacturing costs are about $0.8/gh for complete miners.

Currently we use roasted cat chip production mining machine, stand-alone costs about 4,000 yuan / 768G (overclocked 800G), which is about 5.2RMB / G (without power)
