Gathering questions has never been the problem, getting answers is.  the last full round of questions never got answered at the salon, and as far as I have seen that "exclusive" interview never happened.

Maybe that miner is already available in China, but we people from the Western countries don't know about it. Things over there tend to happen way below the radar sometimes. They could be out of those miner by now, if you ask me!

I would highly recommend following this page for more information on their miner:

http://www.iasicminer.com/index.php/action-channel-name-newen

You'll have to deal with the Google Translate barrier unfortunately.

Thanks for the input! The only thing I can seem to see though is a post about the specifications of that miner and the only thing showing up is a large question mark. :-/ Doesn't seem very promising. But I guess we'll see some development soon.

arf all the AM's website really look like nothing. Some chinese 90's interface.
Any information about some kul aid website being somehow under development?
It would be quite an edge considering the fact that they seem to aim at more internationalisation and worldwide cover..

Based on the latest information, it appears that they are hiring so if there are any web developers interested can apply for a job. Right now all their expertise mainly in the hardware R&D area (while lacking in other parts).

I guess it would do the trick to just set up some clean and stable Wordpress site, for crying out loud. Everything is better than those half-baked Chinese websites from hardware manufacturers that don't have the slightest clue about web design or public relations. I'd hate to see AM go that way!

so anyone in here, with sufficient time, skills and passion for AM could be interested in approaching FC for that matter and get the job done, maybe freelance way?

Well still hanging out on the AM fanpage but if Friedcat hired a PR rep that would work as an official page as well the wordpress page is just to have a website to go to.

Yeah, I also think that this would totally do the trick. I don't think the main problem here is which CMS to use, but rather that Friedcat finally decides to hire some dedicated PR person who'll post news more often than every 2 months.

Well you can try your luck using google translate (https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.iasicminer.com%2Findex.php%2Faction-viewnews-itemid-22) but it still is difficult to get the gist of it.
I think it mostly is just some summary of all the things we already got to know about the salon. Nothing new as far as I can tell.

On the contrary, there is one VERY interesting result from this blog post, discreetly hidden in the non-google-translatable areas.

Friedcat has now implicitly announced an estimated efficiency for BE300 miners, with these profit numbers.  The top row is labeled "average power cost of the rest of the network," and the chart seems to be a model for how much the BE300 will earn (per TH/s???) with different power costs, from which we can probably extrapolate its efficiency.  However, the chart doesn't have a legend, so I can't actually see what these numbers mean...
