Just the fact that something happened on the forums from AM not by FC.  There have been a few other accounts that did things, but from what I recall they were not that active... and went into disuse quickly.  Lets hope this time is different.

Yep one step at a time
Anyways it will be a sort of interesting analysis of how many hits it gets from interested users.
At posting Topic: ASICMiner Tube Sales Information Thread  (Read 4996 times)
So 5K marks the base point although 1 click from a interested miner could be 40 units ha-ha.

Has this baby been paying dividends with its recent sales and mining?

I see the price on Havelock is down in the 0.2 range -https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=AM1

Am wondering if i should take a bite  Cheesy

Asicminertube is based on an open source design.  Friedcat ran a contest for the design.
If you click through my sig, you will see all the specs.

The difference is in the pricing, assembly requirement and the minimum number of 40 boards for purchase.

You can take a bite but not too big as the volume is pretty low and you will drive the price up quickly IMHO.  I think people are in "wiat and see" mode as sales of the AsicminerTube have begun and divs are on the horizon Wink

I'm hopeful, but canarys us GB for tubes is around 20-30 pieces @ 1.04 BTC with thin margins. Recall the first 10 ghs blades that were sold were 50 btc each.

Nah, its one of the original set of... 6? 12? made by a guy here in the thread.  Sameish design, but on black... and special because it was one of the first.  The design is also different, the cat is in the pan, being fried.

Keep in mind that when those were being sold for 50 BTC/blade, there were only "three" options at the time for ASIC hardware: AM, Avalon, & BFL. Of those three, only AM had hardware on hand and BTC was about $115; higher demand/low supply and lower BTC value (in relation to USD).

Now there's plenty of options and higher BTC value, of course there BTC margins aren't going to be as good. To compensate, that's why much of the focus was aimed towards maximizing volume lately. We'll find out soon how well they've been selling.
