A lot of transactions have been delayed lately.  I also heard there is a fork going on but I don't really understand it all.  I just know that just about every transaction lately has been delayed way longer than usual.  It's a bad sign if anything even thought BTC prices have been on the  rise.  If the delays keep up it just won't be a feasible user experience.
