Thought this would be of interest to people here: https://www.friendcrypt.comIt's what i've been up to since BitInstant went down, beta will be coming around the end of april and there's a fundraiser on littlebitback with some more info: https://www.littlebitback.com/friendcrypt-encrypted-social-networking/As the littlebitback page says, depending on response to the fundraiser it'll either be funded by donations or via a freemium model. What I absolutely do not want to do is make it advertiser-funded as that opens up privacy risks. If anyone is interested in helping out more directly, get in touch via PM.

People who use social networks don't really care about privacy, anyway, good luck with your project.

I disagree, there's a lot of people who use social networks such as facebook while also trying (in vain) to protect their privacy, and there's plenty of people who will use social networks if they can be confident their privacy is protected.

I understand but shit I have this woman on facebook who likes making videos, she has no clue about privacy issues, your right there are people who do care, like me. There are others who do not know any better.

That one is my cousin and im sure he dont care, he probably dont even know what the fuck im talking about. I notice he just likes to like. Ill ask him though to see, but again, no one has posted interested in a encrypted social network, and I have a better idea then this. Social network, means people wanna be social. They dont care about privacy.
