Hi, this "corrupting" database issue has been a pain in the butt for me. This over several versions of the QT, OS/win7, win8 (and .1) and 2 different machines using both 32/64 bit. This happens every few weeks and then I have to rebuild / reinstall the database fresh. This happened to me again a few days ago so I dumped everything (except the wallet) and re-loaded using the new 10.0 - I have tried twice to load and twice failed corrupt database! By the way, 10.0 removes itself if it does not install successfully. I can't even get a partial load. I guess I'll try going back to a (much) older version. I do NOT want an "outer space" wallet. The crypto world is not to be trusted at least by me. -M

You bumped an old thread about issues that were fixed years ago, please don't do that.   You might want to try memtest86 on your machine, random corruption is usually due to a hardware failure.
