What will the total number of coins be?

I believe in many years there will be around 1.6 Billion at the maximum. I also believe they are burning coins. Good question though. Can someone answer this in detail.

To my knowledge, a the mass majority of those 1.6 Billion are allocated for future funding and incentives to get users to join the network.  All the founders' coins 200M total are locked up in a mutual agreement.  The total 184.8M listed on coinmarketcap is wrong.  I think only around 46M were sold during the original crowdsale.  The rest of the coins, ~138.8M were destroyed.  I don't know if they plan on allocating a set amount for this crowdsale and burning any unsold or not.  I don't think they will flood the market with excessive coins, because that would be counterproductive to their funding goals.  I think the coins allocated for incentives to draw in new users will be slowly meted out to an expanding userbase and not cause a disturbance to the market price.

The "ico" as it's imaginatively referred to, was last year.

Synereo has a multi-staged funding round, where the total AMPs that were put in the Future Funding Wallet will be put into circulation in increments.  The upcoming crowdfund is stage-2.

The first 450 AMP buyers of the original sale, conducted March-April 2015, bought coins at 362 AMPs per 1 USD.

Cost 10,000 AMPs for this NIKE campaign to deliver a message to 4300 people. That is 10,000 * 0.12 USD = 1,200 USD.  Is 4300 people's attention to look at an ad worth 1,200USD?


Food for thought and should be discussed especially for people who want to get in but missed the ICO. Is it still worth it ? Maybe only... until the bubble pops.

How much is your attention worth? You could say it's dependent off the value of the consumer or idea spreader, whatever... To support what ever your doing in your add (buy, share,...)

It seems this campaigns will be directed, and also accepted considering you'll get paid tto look at them...

Then I wonder what would be my on-hold-ICO-AMP value will be after the next crowd sale.

Is it going to be new coin? - in this case how current AMP will be treated?

That's an interesting theory.  What's it based on?

Is the price of oil based on what's on the shelves at retailers, or estimated reserves in the ground?  (we'll leave production costs out, since that is negligible in a crypto)


PS. The "estimated reserves" of AMPs has not changed - no new AMPs enter the supply chain in the crowdfunding.

That isn't how it works, people do not buy into an ICO and then sell for what they paid, the price will be based on the current price, not some discount. They are buying anticipating the project going up higher. Looking at Steem, that seems EXTREMELY likely, as this has been in development for years, not rushed. If you don't want to miss out, do some research on it.
