uhhh autsch - that story has nothing to do with AMP (at least i hope so)
XMR had a deal working with a darkmarket , pulled Poloniex in
everybody pumped that to the death (even that market never really got any traction or volume)
check how many coins moved before that initial PR (pump)
they still do not have a UI wallet, there is zero development going on on xmr - fluffy is just talking sh... and pumping the exitscam

amp is better than that

The project is in a much better situation now than it was pre-crowdsale.  I can tell you right now that the whales are not selling.  The whales are buying.  And yes, having a cryptocurrency have massive gains and 50% or greater losses is perfectly normal.  Don't get shaken out because of the short term price movements.  If you do, you'll regret it when this thing takes off.

In cryptoland, even -95% should not shake you out. Instead, buy additional small doses for cheap over time. Just one out of ten portfolio positions have to survive, to break even. Those can do tenfold. If two are making it, you are into heaven.

Haha you scared me, I thought there'd be a significant jump in the price when you said "surge". I mean, I'll be fine with the AMP I'm already holding but I'd really like to buy more at only $0.10, considering the fact that the currency is undervalued right now. I wouldn't dump during 2018.

Has anyone heard of this other social nework "Yours.network"? I heard about it yesterday and some sources were comparing it to Synereo and Steemit. I was just curious if anyone had any thoughts on it. Even if there are other projects out there, Synereo is still way ahead of the game in regards to creating a "decentralized social network".

I hadn't heard of it either until the Forbes article about Synereo mentioned it.  "Yours" is running on top of the bitcoin blockchain... that's so 2013ish.  Synereo's got 'em beat hands down.
