Dan and Stan Larimer are pieces of shit.  They stole Bitshares DPoS mechanism from NXT, and the entire premise behind its prediction markets are bullshit and unfeasible.  Steemit is just a pyramid scheme with zero innovation.  EOS is another bullshit wealth extraction scheme.  I was a supporter of the Larimer Gang until I found out that they are liars, cheaters, and thieves.  I know all their tricks and have seen all their games.  Go buy their shit and learn the truth about them first hand.

That still doesn't change the fact that they deliver much faster than Synereo. Steemit has been ready for more than a year now.

But to say that Synereo has no potential is unfair as well. They working and testing, public beta is coming and who knows how things will go. We should to wait instead of spreading FUD.

or Omni core desktop wallet, but for that you will need to download the bitcoin blockchain to your desktop, which will take a few days and use up a lot of disk space.

Good find! Most coins from xpNb and Xmxw addresses ended up at JZPQ which looks like an intermediate exchange address to my eye.

They could have sold BTC to fiat to avoid BTC price volatility, or simply move the coins somewhere else.

To prevent speculation about potential money waste and cashing out, they could start reporting. Every 1-4 months publish a statement how the money was spent and how much fiat/crypto is left. After 2 crowdsales and 2 years of work it would be a wise and responsible step.

Maybe they just setup their new infrastructure for the beta release and they moved the money into that infrastructure.

The system will give out AMP to curators I think so they need to fill up the bucket from where it will be given out, maybe that is where the AMP went.

Indeed, I'd also like to see them burn at least some of the remaining coins. Though you can be assured there is a lot of strategy involved in the way they do or do not announce things.

Currently there are 84 mil AMPs. If it stays fixed and WildSpark is successful and more people want AMPs and they start buying AMPs, this will lead to price increase.

But recently I'm thinking of other scenario.

Steemit exploited initial large payouts to bootstrap their economy and attract lots of media coverage with headlines like Steemit awards $1.3 Million to Users. (Although it is amazing how posts like this can earn $6k).

Synereo has "User Reward Wallet" and "Content Creator Wallet" totalling 175 mil AMPs. They may decide to start giving them away to content creators and curators to bootstrap the economy. For the economy in general this would be broader distribution, which is good. For investors hoping for supply scarcity this would be direct supply dilution and selling pressure.
