It seems like a no brainer once the masses find out about this. My facebook is full of shit posting all day long. When those type of people find out they can get paid for doing what they already do,  it's going to be interesting to say the least.

Currently there are 84 mil AMPs. If it stays fixed and WildSpark is successful and more people want AMPs and they start buying AMPs, this will lead to price increase.

But recently I'm thinking of other scenario.

Steemit exploited initial large payouts to bootstrap their economy and attract lots of media coverage with headlines like Steemit awards $1.3 Million to Users. (Although it is amazing how posts like this can earn $6k).

That is no big deal they will probably sell the other AMP tokens to institutional investors over the counter, so it will have no impact on the price whatsoever. Many startups do this, they sell  the excess shares outside the market in private deals and that doesnt have an impact on the market.

In fact the price might even go up, since institutional investors hold for long term 5-10-15 years who knows, and it we know that the excess AMPs have been bought by big investors, we can be sure that that AMP wont be dumped in the near future, ensuring further stability.

Other remaining AMPs could be burned as well.

Synereo has "User Reward Wallet" and "Content Creator Wallet" totalling 175 mil AMPs. They may decide to start giving them away to content creators and curators to bootstrap the economy. For the economy in general this would be broader distribution, which is good. For investors hoping for supply scarcity this would be direct supply dilution and selling pressure.

I dont know how that will work but yes it would be a good idea to give bonuses to first users to bootstrap the product.

I expect a massive marketing campaign from Synereo so the price could easily skyrocket by the end of the year.

I think the referral/advertising business will be the biggest target audience for this app. We can easily see the price at 0.03 BTC in notime.

this is not a micky mouse game like that ponzi steemit, they are professional and genuine people. If they had such plans to dump they would have also told earlier, that supply is not for dumping but for future funding and  that also if required and they would burn many coins as they had told in february. no 13th august they would announce the launching atleast 2-3 days before it and price may hit $1 even before coming because everybody knows only a mad person would give fake announcement just days before

Hello guys, i recently tried to withdraw some coins from omni web wallet as a test but i get the message that my bitcoin address doesn't have that much funds to cover transaction costs. I have 9 cents of bitcoin and 70k amp on the same address and the web wallet thinks of selecting bitcoin as option by default even when synereo is selected. I have attached screenshot. Please help

It is really scary to long hold amp due to its supeeeer heavy supplies under the team. Why can't they commit to community like for instance they will freeze it unless a private investor is interested otc. Or let's say they guarantee to dump as high as 50,000 tokens monthly.

Ran into this same problem a while ago. Since AMP is an OMNI token, sending AMP from OMNI wallet requires enough BTC to pay the TX fee.

So just send some BTC to that address (3$ worth) and Bam you can move your AMP out of OMNI.

And, in case anyone is wondering, transactions in the beta don't require you to send BTC when you AMP something lol.

Well there is stll no proof that they have sold anything beyond the initial ICO sales. So I think their many year long reputation is the key here.

I dont think any dump is incoming, on the contrary I think the price will skyrocket at or after Aug 13.

I was around when bitcoin cost $1.30 a piece i actually have a broken laptop with over 100 btc on it LOL. Anyway Amp interested me but it seems they are connected to two other coins Safe and Omni? So now im trying to decide between safe and amp possibly both what do you guys think? Also from the technical side amp runs on omni which runs on bitcoin blockchain right? If so whats the point of omni as opposed to just using bitcoin. i know that was a lot but if you can answer part or some or all of this post i would appreciate it either-way.

And no problem in omni, omni also has web wallet, desktop wallets and mobile wallets to safely store amps and all other omni assets. And what to talk of my genuine advice that you should invest here and wait till just 13th august and then afterwards buy safe or other coins by selling a portion of amps as that would be worth very much and also keep some amps in this process because in long term price can also go to $50-$100

The order books are so obviously manipulated on polo. This coin is for sure going to pump 'Eventually' but your better off setting up some buy signals than holding.
