It's strange situation, Synereo made a product launch, but rising it's competitor - BAT

I don't own BAT but I read on some crypto site that there good news came out from them. So maybe only the AMP dump is strange, not the BAT rise. It is a pity what happens to AMP all the time. But I had to sell once again. I will keep an eye on AMP because I am sure it has a lot of potential. But the market doesn't seem to agree yet. I am going to resume coin flipping again because it has turned out to be more rewarding to me than holding altcoins.

I believe market is dull because product is not launched completely yet.
They will soon send news and updates and after making some tweaks in product i.e. opening signup/login and share url to amplify in the website, they will also add dashboard and analytics for each user.

But don't worry guys 13th august has still not passed

True, but I don't believe in holding altcoins anymore. When I was flipping coins I took 1 BTC and made 10 BTC from it in 3 months time. I reduced it to 5 BTC doing something really stupid that I normally wouldn't do. But still 500 % return in 3 months is not bad. But then I started hodling some coins and my amount of BTC started to slowly deplete. Maybe I always hold the wrong coins, or I am not patient enough. But for me holding is not profitable. The only good thing is that even if you slowly lose BTC, the $ value keeps going up though because BTC is skyrocketing.

I missed out on over $3M by just flipping and not holding, had 400K dnet/pivx sold way to early, decided to look for pumps, and 200K stratis again I sold super early due to getting bored and going for pumps.

The big money is finding several good projects and just hold, i've learnt that the hard way.

Are you serious ? Did you miss $3M Damn, I feel so sorry for you, bro. Do you still have PIVX, by the way ? This is also a coin I hold. On their twitter page they said the zerocoin protocol will soon be delivered on PIVX which will make it go up a lot. So maybe if you go back in, you can still make some nice gains with it.

But you know ... if you hold, you have to be in the right coin. Not all coins will make moonshots like NEO, QTUM, ETH, DASH, ... Maybe the best strategy is to do both. Hold some coins you believe in and also trade active.

Same to me. I was early adopter of NEM, Stratis and Antshares (NEO). Guess, what happened next? Price went way to high, so I can't buy back and return my previous portfolio. As for now I'm only holding.
I have cold reserve of BTC and ETH I'm not intended to touch. The same is with my altcoin portfolio (including AMP). I'm playing just for fun with tiny amount of BTC and it goes funny

Release doesn't happen like this bro they haven't given any press coverage and update because it is not a complete release they would surely do so if it was considering the magnitude of such big product. They have disabled deposit and withdraw amp option in that extension to amplify videos, they have yet to enable sign in/ sign up option in wildspark site and they have yet to enable 'share url to amplify' feature in the site and after logging in the site the user would also be able to check analytics for his/her links and get dashboard which they haven't enabled yet

Why aren't you just more calm? Have you ever invested in a project in crypto where those in charge simply disappeared? I did. And I was very disappointed. And now I am only investing in projects where I can almost be certain that those in charge won't run away. That those in charge believe they are onto something as much as I believe it. Even if the current model of Wildspark does not turn out to be the huge success that some of us expect it to be, there are guys running this project that are willing to pursue their mission further, tweak the model, or even go another route in order to ultimately achieve the really compelling goal of building an "Attention Economy". We can never know for sure, but I feel very confident that Synereo is going to land somewhere far above their current position. Tomorrow? In the next two weeks? In 1 year? I don't know, I can't know.

I see wildspark being used on a lot of music videos, as a way for fans to reward the creators. A bit like leaving a tip.

Fans could then post the wildspark link on a fan website asking to donate to the artist, while taking a small cut.

That could make people money, as long as they strategically place the wildspark links.

Other than that, it is empty and only when I go to a video I AMPed, I can find the link that is to be shared with others. Am I missing something? Is there something like an AMPed history?

Although WildSpark has an element of earning monetary rewards for curation, its explicit purpose is to let people support content creators directly while helping others discover their work, in a fair, free manner. Amplification of content is a token of appreciation that makes it more likely that the creator will be able to provide more great content in the future as well.

Curation is indeed a thing of value, which in some cases may yield considerable profits, yet it's best not to view WildSpark as a business opportunity. WildSpark is a first step in establishing a Liberated Attention Economy that empowers us users instead of the centralized content hosting and distribution platforms. That's the goal to keep in mind.

Refrain from antisemitism on this forum. This will lead us nowhere. It is true that they didn't refund when they had the chance (at least a partial refund), but they didn't vanish away. Instead, they tried to deliver something. Something very far from what those splendid blog posts made us wonder, but still something.
