I'am curious about something , I know that you should report enough to be a staff member however ... how they are calculated ? I mean reports in Overall I mean in general ? or Theymos/BadBear see average of reports daily/weekly/monthly ?

I like the badge idea, you could have good or bad achievements:

Troll badge for excessive trolling
Spam badge for spamming a certain number of posts over a given length of time
Caution badge for noob accounts requesting loans
Report badge for reaching a specific number of accurate reports (Grand_Voyageur's idea)

Actually the averages aren't important. The important is number of reported posts and accuracy. The thing is if your accuracy is very low you are actually wasting the moderators time rather than helping them.
It would be good to have 90+% accuracy at least, however I've seen people with almost 100%.

If scammer tags were removed then these features aren't going to be added. Who is going to want to take the time to investigate and dish out badges for trolling or spamming? Imagine the crying in Meta when people are branded with such a tag as well? If they're breaking the rules in whatever way then they should just be dealt with in the existing ways of negative feedback or bans etc.

• Jr. Legendary.
• Legendary
• Sr. Legendary
• Hero Legendary.

I think this should go for some years.

Exactly what would be the difference between a badge and an achievement? Both could work, but you'd need space for the badges to be viewed and a whole page for achievements.
I guess anything would be beneficial to spice up the experience. Besides in a year or two we will have too many legendary members, won't we?

The current highest rank here is Legendary with 775-1030 activity points to achieve. Perhaps we can have a higher rank at like 1300-1400 points? Like 'History Maker' or 'Part of Bitcoin History' etc.?
It's just a suggestion. You can take or not take it.

It's interesting, but why? Legendary seems aged = good.

I don't think we need a new rank on our forum, but rather that we should only edit currently existing ones.
The thing i would add to current ranking is "numbers of experience" in form of stars attached next to profile..

You very often see people creating account and trust farming it to oblivion, making people think how that person is highly trusted ,
when in fact the person is just like one year present on the forum or something..

That would just furthermore increase sales of forum accounts , which are one of the worst evils present here.
The ONLY way to deal with majority of issues would simply be to remove signatures alltogeather, then no one would complain about membership, or account farming.

If you donate funds to the forum , you can get custom VIP title of your own desire. Price ? A tiny price of 50 btc ...
The idea behind donations is good, but the amounts are way beyond real. They should be lowered atleast by factor of 10.

I'm sure as time goes on more ranks will be added but I don't think they're needed just yet. There's not that many legendaries at the moment but that will change within a year or so.

Yeah, provably they will. You cant just stuck on that ranking because every added activities for everytime you post will be in vain. I would like to see this in the future. Its very hard to rank this days. I think it will be more challenging for us to achieve that kind of rank.

You're right, there's a whole generation of users that will become Legendary, and this rank will get what Sr. Member is nowadays, cool but not so much awesome.

In my opinion i think the best option will be 'Mythical Member' 

This one is magic sounding but I like Epic member myself.

It just sounds cool like being Elite or Alpha. But to an epic level of awesomeness.
