Does this mean you uploaded your private key to a cloud, in plain text? That's one of the worst solutions for both your security and privacy. Now the cloud's owner and the people who get access to those data by either the owner's permission or not, can impersonate you.

Why don't you just write it down on a piece of paper? Preferably one that's derived from your seed phrase, which can be easily written with minimum human errors.

That's what BIP38 was created for. Come to think of it: with a decent password I'd feel pretty safe posting it here, together the signed message. I reckon the chance of someone cracking the password is much smaller than the chance of you losing the privkey again

Disclaimer: don't do this if you don't fully understand what you're doing. But I like the idea of being able to verify my online identity with nothing else than a password and very strong encryption.

I believe what LoyceV meant is that the user needs to STAKE his/her address here, because that is the purpose of this thread. One user cannot reference his "staked address" if he doesn't have one.
