I'm curious about real world stats, from an "average" user (someone who is 400-600Mh/s), it one of the popular pools (such as slush's pool).

How many BTC/day are you making, and what are your hardware stats?

I've seen that, but I'm curious to know if it lines up with the real world. Are you making 2BTC/day from 500mh/s?

It lines up perfectly. Bitcoin is pure math. You can take just about any handful of numbers related to mining and accurately predict the rest.

My 570 Mhash box with a 6970 and 5770 that draws 445W at the wall (gaming box with multiple HDDs, fans etc) creates about 2.35 BTC per day, just like the calc says.

Of course, there are going to be small variances based on changing pool membership, software hangs, and things of that sort. I've observed the calculator to be accurate within 3% day to day.

On my OC'd 6990 I get ~780Mhash/s, which, at the current difficulty, has been getting me about 3.2BTC/day.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

36 Mhash - about 0.15 btc/day in Slush's pool (ATI 4670)
240 Mhash - about 0.85 btc/day in deepbit   (ATI 5830)
but difficulty is growing....
