Always the BTCChina , most reliable exchange ever, also the longest running one since the MTGOX has gone.

Unclear market situation. But China dominates the market.

http://exchangewar.info/

Where to find a good review?

I personally used Allcoin once and it was because I was in a signature compaign and got an Altcoin named "GreenCoin" if I remember right so I exchanged my GreenCoin to BTC . That was the only time I used an exchanger ...
Other then that , I prefer to trade on the forums with Currency Exchange Sub forums like here on Bitcointalk or on Leakforums , Elitepvpers etc... Grin I prefer to trade for the payment method I want and with the rates that I want .

I use several exchanges, for a variety of reasons:

C-CEX because they are usually one of the first to give new altcoins a chance. I also like their voucher system where anyone
can create a voucher code for any altcoin that they have and give that voucher to another person to claim. It's a great way to do
in-trollbox giveaways and such.

Bter because you earn daily interest on the coins you hold on their exchange.

Poloniex because I cut my teeth on crypto in their trollbox and they have a great bunch of people over there.

Bittrex because I think they have a great GUI and offer a good variety of altcoins.

Cryptsy because they have some interesting on-board tools that other exchanges don't have

I use Kraken because my currency is euro. They have a very good support / customer service and their exchange tools are very advanced but very easy to use, even for an amateur trader like me.

Too bad they have a small volume comparing to dollar trades.
