Lets start writing some nice stories in the bitcoin space...

Please tip or donate here so I could hire some artist and also improve my writing and write more: 1DodtJ4Pj4zwrj3RSknwaKgQtB61z3SRvB

Please write your stories with a title and genre.

SCIENCE FICTION

1)MARS MINER
2)BLOCKED BLOCKCHAIN
3)SATOSHI'S KEYS (NEW)
4)FINDING SATOSHI(NEW)

ROMANCE

1) Just a bit-tip

Here is my first bitcoin story , it is science fiction, space stuff..

In the year 2050 where bitcoin has become a part and parcel of life , and each bitcoin worth more than 5 million usd and the network hash rate is measured in zeta hashes. There are many full nodes and large mining architectures with quantum computers deployed in many places mars to serve the network.

Mysteriously the node and mining facility goes offline at mars  and despite drones sent to investigate and repair those massive structures, the drones lose communication once the reach the perimeter of the facility and never return back.So in order to investigate this, the bitcoin foundation with the help of NASA, funds a man mission consisting of a cryptology tech expert(protagonist) to mars to explore the situation.

When the team arrives they find shocking truths which ultimately shakes the truth about cryptocurrencies!

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

A alien race discoverd the Bitcoin miner while scanning a new part of the universe, they noticed that other human races in distant galaxy's also created a sort-like instrument for cryptocurrency at there stage of evolution. They made some ''improvements'' and moved on.

Great job with the art and story.

Here is my take on bi-fi (Bitcoin Fiction)

In the year 2028, when the world was facing unprecedented challenges of rising of sea levels, unemployment and public discontent. It was realized by the world governments to let crypt-anarchy prevail. Thus all the centralized fiat currency system was withdrawn, and decentralized currency systems prevailed since then. But during the massive solar storm of 2033, 99 % of mining systems were destroyed, the remaining 1 %, hidden in mountainous regions had the surviving copy of the most recent valid blockchain. Corporations and individuals who were able to secure their systems, were the only entities, on which the world economic order depended. To exploit this situation, they began charging blocks on which validity of all future transactions were based. By the end of the 2030's decade, bitcoin was becoming more and more centralized, until ..

Thank you and your story  line is much more mature with nice dystopian themes and highlighting global warming, please continue your story..

if the blocks are charged, does it mean a very high transaction fees, or a subscription based system for anybody to use bitcons offered by large multi national companies?

If you made a transaction, and block containing it, is lost by the network/fire walled by secure servers. You cannot make a new transaction, until a consistent blockchain is made publicly available. MNC had charged the data of that part of the blockchain which is made public, in my story.

Please continue

the entire miner facility was run by synthetics and drones and when the team arrives there they are shocked to find many of them just deactivated. power has been shut down in the entire facility..

the team has bought the bull, which is a large 4 wheel driven armored, armed remote device to survey the interiors of miner facility...

the team actually thinks the facility is hijacked by a group of terrorist.

In the year 2050 where bitcoin has become a part and parcel of life , with market cap at hundred trillion and each bitcoin worth more than 5 million usd and the network hash rate is measured in zeta hashes. Mining is sustainable only by large multi national  corporations and they also have to get a license which is auctioned by government .There are many full nodes and large mining architectures with quantum computers deployed in many places such as deep sea underground, space, inside mountains and many nodes at various locations in moon and the largest  one is  located at mars to serve the network.

Mysteriously the node and mining facility goes offline at mars  and despite drones sent to investigate and repair those massive structures, the drones lose communication once the reach the perimeter of the facility and never return back.So in order to investigate this, the bitcoin foundation with the help of NASA, funds a man mission consisting of a private military personels and a  cryptology tech expert(protagonist) to mars to explore the situation.

The location is somewhere near Ascraeus Mons, the entire miner facility was run by synthetics and drones and when the team arrives there they are shocked to find many of them just deactivated. power has been shut down in the entire facility. The team has bought the bull, which is a large 4 wheel driven armored, armed remote device to survey the interiors of miner facility.

The team actually thinks the facility is hijacked by a group of terrorist. There is an earth based major terrorist organization operating,  called "Decentra" . All major sabotaging activities of this terrorist group includes destroying infrastructures that promote centralization of bitcoin mining..

The assumption is based on the fact that the facility is well protected by 3 cannons which fires pulse of molten metal across any objects that come near the facility,  its called the TAC cannon. This technology is time tested and used as a primary defence in both home and off world bitcoin mining facilities.Since the mining facility went offline without any hostile encounters, it is believed that the terrorist group Decentra has somehow hacked into the  independent security  systems of the facility there and have disabled the tac cannon.

the limit to mars - earth communication is about 4 minutes
so blockchain will probally split, a mars block chain and an earth blockchain.
the earth miner will have a 4 minute propogation disadvange for a mars miner to find the next block compared to a local earth miner.
then if by accident a mars miner get the next block then it would be hard for a earth miner to get the next block due to a 4 minute delay.
thats just all theory.

This story infact happens at the time when inter planetary communications are super luminal using technologies here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superluminal_communication

however my choice is blockchain communication by quantum entanglement.

Screw sci-fi...

Just a bit-tip.

A bitcoin early adopter wanted to tip a waiter a 1000 bits using a paper wallet. But due to a bug in the new Blockchain.info iOS app he tipped her 1000 bitcoins! Once he discovers his mistake he devises a plan to seduce her and steal the wallet. He figures out her Bitmessage address and starts flirting with her over the net.

His intrigue falls apart when he discovers that she runs a squat for anarchists in her spare time. Because of that he falls madly in love with her. He's torn between stealing the money back, and letting her figure out what's up and using money to buy back the squat from the rightful owners. Heart wins over wallet, and he decides to propose a marriage over blockchain. A bit too late unfortunately, because she finds out his original intentions by seeing a discussion on #bitcoin irc channel.

She gives the money to anarchists, protected by an M of N signature wallet, and they purchase the land and modify the deed into smart property managed via blockchain contracts. The girl's heart is broken and she erases her Bitmessage private keys. She still works at the coffee place, but there's simply no way to contact her. She's gone.

Epilogue: the same coffee place. The girl brings coffee to an older gentleman. You could say he looks a bit like Morgan Freeman... As she puts the coffee on the table, he grabs her hand, and looks into her eyes. "Give him another chance." She walks away. Later on, when cleaning the table she finds another bitcoin tip with a note attached: "Here's a small bribe. Those are mint condition by the way."
