It keeps finding blocks, then losing synch, then all blocks orphan. Over and over.

That's what happens when there's only one node to connect to and the dev is mining too. I have like 90% orphan rate.

Thank's for mining and keeping the faith. I hope more pools will jump in for the big rewards. I am in some talks with exchanges. We will see how that goes.

Make a file in your roaming folder called trickycoin.conf

big block reward phase now

It's not personal but a lot of exchanges burned people one way or the other so new exchanges are frowned upon naturally and a lot of users (me included) don't trust new exchanges. It must be hard for new exchanges but if you stick around long enough I'm sure your exchange will be recognized.

I guess all exchanges were new at some point. And they all had to prove themselves as this one does.

I am talking to other exchanges and i suggest everyone start tweeting the ones you like. The more they hear the name TrickyCoin the better.

"Cool Down" Phase started. Now we trade and get more exchanges! Prepare for the final big trick!

A few people have mentioned they cannot get their wallet to sync to the network.
This is because you need to create a trickycoin.conf file.

I have uploaded my config file onto mega.

Simply copy/paste the file into your USER/ROAMING/TRICKYCOIN folder then restart the client.

There is a 120 network confirmation by the pools. Thats about 2 hours. So expect your coins to be rolling in around 2 hours or less.

Just check your account at coin-miners. You can see any transactions and on the dashboard you can see unconfirmed coins.

Yes several plans. There will be much advertisement, tweets, coin give-aways, articles, etc during the final big block rewards.
If miners want it on C-cex and or Bittrex you have to help. Tweet them, get in their IRC, talk in their chat, email them, etc.

First time running wallet?

I do not see the wallet trying any IP but that one which leads me to believe that .conf file is not being read.

Please search the forum. There is a free ready to use TrickyCoin.conf available for download.

Place that file in your roaming folder (%appdata%/trickycoin) and it will sync right up. We have 100's of miners sync'ing with no issues.

Block reward is back up over 1000. Staking starts in 1600 blocks.

There will never be a better time to start gathering a stash of TrickyCoin!

Any update? Coin-miners pool is doing just fine, I can transfer straight to Yobit without problem but I would much rather be able to put it in wallet to mature. The problem being is that I have seen my wallet move about 10% of the way to syncing since POS kicked in. It will connect and move 3 blocks or so and then disconnect for about 15 min and repeat.

Good to hear your trying to get it working, its not to FUBAR if the pools wallets and exchange wallets are synced, could the problem be linked to just the windows wallets?

im just turning off my wallet, but i think this thing occurred when the first pos block was created, it paid out all interests on each block transaction deposited into wallet, rather than put them together and send out in just 1 payment, hope you get it fixed soon, im sure you will.

A little closer. I have sync'd my wallet and successfully transferred some funds. Let me test some incoming and I'll share what I did.
I suspect we had a chain fork. There is a solo miner out there. It messed up staking badly.

Im on win32. Been messing with wallets alot. lol I noticed in the conf it was misssing

Im past the fork and almost done syncing, with hour to go so can safely say that helps for windows wallet on win32.

No need to update wallet as there is nothing to update.
Please follow the numerous instructions in this forum and you will connect, sync and stake with no issues.

Just do this simple simple thing. Make a copy of your roaming folder. Stop the wallet. Delete all files in your roaming folder except trickycoin.conf and wallet.dat . Restart wallet. Enjoy.
If that doesn't work then your .conf is clearly incorrect.

My apologies, the addnodes that I entered into the .conf file that I uploaded a few days ago have timed out.
You need to change "Addnode=trick.coin-miners.info" to "addnode=node.coin-miners.info" as I mis entered this Addnode and it seems to be the only one working from my config file.

My wallet worked after making that change.
I will upload a new and working config file later today.

Developing TrickyCoin faucet. Nothing more (atm). Not familiar with TrickyCoin dev. Minimum running time of those 2 nodes are 30 days since now. But I hope faucet will work (be alive) a little bit more than end of first payment-period. I will announce opening... and will ask people to donate some TrickyCoins at start.
