Why doesn't mining begin until so late after the ICO ends (after the cooldown of CEX)? Wouldn't it be better to have that running in the short term? Maybe I missed something in that reasoning.

Yeah that's true, I think I'm just misunderstanding the (intended) timeline.

x15 is bitblock algo, any of the newest sgminers should have it in the kernel folder.

I agree, seems that distribution of this coin is intended to be 90% on ico. And i got to say it had a success.

How they rose over 35 BTC in two days and only 3 pages of topic?  It's something unbelievable.

The ICO could be considered a success solely because it sold out but I wouldn't say the distribution is ideal. The point of distribution is to actually distribute the coins to as wide of an audience as possible while an ICO selling out in a matter of hours pretty much means that only a handful of people owns all the coins. The point of having a mining phase (other than to secure the network) along with ICO/IPO/etc is to further help distribution. But mining for about 27 days for only ~8% of the total coins isn't going to change much of that.

Got them on my pools getting started page too, some older miners Call it 'bitblock' instead of x15 but it is pretty much the same like x11 just a bit Slower ;)

Dev, next time you launch a coin please place the coin reward structure in the OP.  Announcing a post on page 2 about zero reward for first 150 blocks is somewhat inconsiderate.

Considering a coin is worth 800sat at the moment, only 0.144 BTC worth of coins will be distributed each day. Not a very promising PoW.

The PoW is a joke for this coin. Why did you even bother with it dev?

The PoW phase is meant for miners to have a chance at getting some PRO and joining the community.

Except for the poor butt-hurt saps who started mining at POW phase opening because of the stealthy announcement that the first 150 blocks had a zero coin value.  They decided to leave the community.

When diff is above 10 it's already no longer worth mining lol.

A giveaway would be better  :D

Negative. Look for Wolf's optimized kernels and that is what you will want to use. I found a complete package at crypto mining blog. Do a search and you should be able to find all of the optimized kernels for Sgminer.

That is the latest im using. I know he made a modified bin for x11 and x13 but have not seen one for x15.

There was a high demand for protrade.io beta testing access, more than 30 people decided that they wanted to help us test it. We were really glad that happened and decided to make the beta testing PUBLIC.
That's right, protrade.io beta will be open for everybody.

The site will launch in 3 days (15:00h 04/14/2015 GMT +0).

And that's not the best thing we have to share with our investors, after a team meeting to decide the future of PRO it was decided that the first 2 years of protrade.io's fee's * will be used to place PRO buywalls.
More details on this will follow, along with some graphics and a detailed whitepaper but in summary the goal is to make PRO an attractive investment opportunity for people inside and outside the cryptocurrency community, creating volume and, at some point in the future, create a PRO futures market.

The buy walls will first be placed at 0.00002000 BTC and will be raised by 1000 satoshis every quarter, the BTC placed in the buywall will be the sum of the collected fee's until that date minus the BTC bought by the buywalls before that one.

Example: Let's say we collect 10 BTC in fee's in the first quarter and over the second quarter people sell into the buywall and it gets reduced to BTC, let's also say that, over the second quarter we collect 23 BTC in fee's, this means that, the  second buywall will have 30 BTC at the time of it's deployment.

Note: There won't be any buywall placement in the first three months of protrade.io's operational time.

Both threads also look exactly the same and both are making TOR markets, both have the same graphics, and both say "no child porn" among the same use of writing style from the developer. Newbie dev needs proof that he is a real person and isn't going to just buy out the ICO with their own BTC and get it back afterwards and then dump it all on the market. No ICO sells out in 2 hours, period.

But I'm sure you will keep thinking whatever you want......

I don't think a person should take things too seriously and totally fine to throw a little in here and there on small projects as long as you realize that it could be a crap shoot and if you start seeing red flags, be the first to sell because it's much better to lose a little than to lose it all.
