What will happen when the PoS rewards decreases to 9% annually after 13500 blocks? Lower coin value?

Block time: 79 seconds
4000 blocks of PoW and 13500 - 4000 = 9500 blocks of PoS.
13500 * 79 / 60 / 60 = 296.25 hours
About 12 to 13 days total for PoW and PoS.

Nothing pisses off miners and investors more than devs increasing the coin supply. In the old days this was a favorite self-destructive passtime that coin devs participated in.

agreed, just go with the flow. it is what it is now.  increase of coin supply does not always mean that it is something bad. it might turn out to be something good when the time arrives.

Yeah, seems to be the norm lately.

Well, if all the pools had the same fair fee then there would be more fair spreads. All the pools have different fees so everyone with lots of hashrate would definitely go for the pools that charge less.

Fees are for covering server and operational costs, a 1% fee doesn't even come close to doing that unless you're doing something else on the backend with people's hashes.

Suchpool is charging us a 2% fee but i'm still mining there to try to even it out but, they're charging double what other pools are charging.

But rock a 6 dedicated cluster with 10gbps internet feeds and 100+gbps ddos mitigation. Quality hosting has a price, and time? If you want to work for free, pm me i'll hire you in the team and pay you 0, that makes sense? :P

Bottomline, he (I'm assuming you are referring to supernova) performs.  He is always the first up which counts for alot usually.  If something goes wrong, he actively tries to make it right.  His service is outstanding on all fronts and all you other pool operators need to stop crying in every single new coin thread.

Not saying if he was or wasn't, really didn't pay attention.  Look at from a simple consumer point of view, I buy my coffee from "place A" for a real long time.  The coffee always tastes good, it's always there when i need it, and priced well.  Just because "place B" tells me to come drink their coffee because it's better, a bit more expensive, and they are upset because everyone is going to "place A" to buy their coffee and gosh darnit, it just isn't fair.  People are creatures of habit it takes a bit to change those habits and if you and suchpool are not "crying" about it I apologize, thats just how it's been coming across the past couple days in the various threads.

Makes total sense, I agree with you on that. Except the fact that this entire ecosystem is meant to be decentralized, and we're all doing the same mistakes that we've done in our current financial system which is to centralize too much the "power" into the same entities.

Yes we operate a higher fee, but got a nicer interface and more staff. Matter of choice ultimately, but people seem to go where all the hash is, regardless where it's at (it's not always suprnova who has all the hash). It's kind of defeating the purpose of all of this.

My wallet has been staking.  I have mined 4500 coins and left them in my wallet.   I currently have found 9 blocks with 30 coins in each, for a total of 270 coins

Seems like PoS is finding around 50% of the block. Use that, run the numbers yourself and report back to us  ;)

This coin seems to be getting some nice buzz on the feeds. And C-CEX very nice congrats. With that others will follow.

I think it takes 5 hours for the coins to mature.   and for how you are withdrawing them from your pool is perfect.  it will not reset the coin age on the coins in your wallet.  only the coins being sent.   So once the coins hit your wallet for the first time they need to sit 5 hours before they can start staking.

For those who asked;

Technically we would have rougly about 961000 NTR mined during PoW.

Since PoS engages early, some of the blocks will happen to be PoS blocks paying only 30 NTRN for the time being. Because of that the total number of PoW coins is hard to predict but is likely to be less than anticipated as people stake new coins.

We started to work on our roadmap and will post updates soon! It's time to eat something and to go take some sleep, we'll be back around in a few hours. Meanwhile, Mine and Stake!

Why every time I get a POS block, all my coins wont stake not just the 30 from block?

Your coins invisibly divide every time you stake. If you had initial deposit of 1000, and you staked, you now have 2 balances of 500 (invisible, shows as 1 balance), both balances are immature as they just staked. Now, once they become mature, the first 500 will stake (then divide by 2, so 250, 250), and you are still going to have 500 that are gonna be staked, therefore in the wallet, it'll show that you are still staking. Once everything is staked and immature, your wallet will show that it is waiting for mature coins. After like 3 stakes, you should constantly see that your wallet is staking.

if i have alreadey staked for example 1k coins and its already mined some coins, then i take half of the available coins on wallet, will it reset all of coins age?

Unless you use coin control it will take from as many stacks as required to send that 500 coins.
If you only have 1 stack then it will reset all the coin age associated with said stack when sending a transaction.

This coin was fairly launched, with no premine or instamine (120 blocks of 0 reward). Everyone had a fair chance at getting in on the mining- including the old devs- the largest block rewards lasted for over 24 hours.

It was just a scheme for miners to make some profit, like so many of those sha256 popping up every day. There probably never was a roadmap. Calling coins "fair" with a 3 day mining period is laughable, so are the bagholders clinging there hopes to a newbie dev. Do what you want, take over if you feel like it, no need to wait as no one "owns" this coin anyway.

The appeal of this coin isn't that it's high quality. It's that you can accumulate it for cheap, and move your even mark down below the going price via staking pretty easily (I certainly did, and I was able to do it fast because i started building weight back at 4500 when i started mentioning it), and that it's still relatively new. Did you not see the big walls of 190 coin block rewards the big holders were sucking up? There's a purpose to those, and there's a reason people are walking into this thread waving around 10 btc trying to buy at this price.
