Even though some of us want to know who he is, he wouldn't be safe anymore. Governments and whatever the hell might want to take him out, or something to ruin Bitcoin. I mean, that's why he's been hiding, right? Would it be wrong of me to disclose who he is? I guess I can't give clues either. Actually, not really sure why I'm starting this thread. Just kinda excited that I found him. So what do I do? Just keep my mouth shut? He deserves his anonymity and I think we should respect it. Edit: Governments cant kill bitcoin by taking satoshi out. Something so great that it will soon change Bitcoin. It is the next stage in the advancement of Bitcoin that has been needing to take it's course. There was some hype about a pre-announcement for a big announcement to be made on September (if I recall correctly). But from what I remember reading it wasn't something directly related to the Bitcoin development at the source code level (e.g. it wasn't 51% attack protection). He would be as safe as the rest of the bitcoin dev crew, they are not (at least those that I can recall) hiding their identities and none of them were so far kidnapped / tortured. And with what degree of certainty can you state that you know who Satoshi is?
