I dont know anything about rates because ive never seen, done, or needed this before so im ok if we can negotiate, however due to your bad trust i would not feel confortable to make any bussines with you, without an escrow if thats ok

If you are going to hire SirLolicon, make sure you send the payment to the person(s) he owes coins to.   :-\

How much can you pay? I personally don't do pixel art but I can refer you a friend of mine and give his skype to you if you are really interested in this. But he would like to know the rates first  :)

Well i would need a bunch of sprite characters, i wouldnt know the exact amount right now but probably more than 10, i would also need some other pixel stuff like some trees, rocks that kind of things, maybe even a background but we will discuss that

Artist need to eat too. Without money, how do they get it? The price is fair, maybe a bit too much 0.3 btc woulb be ok. Btw, whats your budget?

I know he needs to eat but it seemed way too much, my budget as i said previously is about 1 btc, 0.3 seems a better price, i guess it depends how long it takes to make a full character sprite

These things take time to make; 0.10 is roughly 20$, each character sheet will take around an hour or two a piece; for ten characters, let's say that's about 10 hours of work, minimum.

Which means you're seeking to pay 2$ an hour, assuming your artist rushed.  Would you want to work for someone at 2$ an hour?  With no benefits or provisions as you would normally get in a regular job?

Let's say you paid 0.5, about 100$, which translates to 10$ an hour, still without anything on top of that; still a professional will not accept this rate, because they still need to pay for their own supplies, electricity, etc, which is expensive.  Once you get into the 30+$/hr range, then you'll find someone willing to provide quality work, and even that's really cheap, relatively speaking.

Considering your budget, if you take care of the programming, you'll be better off partnering up with an artist and splitting the profits; there's no way you can afford an artist that'll do any game justice, least of all the kind of game you seem to have in mind, I assume some kind of RPG or something similar which is graphic intensive.

I started making a template in case i get hired, and to lessen workload if ever. Also maybe for future use.
Anyway, MY rates would be 0.1 or less but with further involvement in your project. That's all I ask :)

Please PM me if ever you decide to have me, thanks.

Yes im taking care of the programming and everything else so far, ive even made a few things myself but i suck at pixel art.

Here is an example, dont kill me.

The game is a platform shooter in case you were wondering, im looking for sprites of characters and monsters aswell, in my example i made it 4 way, left right up down but i only need left and right and maybe up for when the pj is climbing stairs but is not necessary
