Title: Why BTC multisig address accepts LightCoins?
Post by: jurij.timofejev on May 07, 2015, 01:22:51 PM
Did you know that if you send.. let' s say by accident.. LTC to BTC multisig address, then your LTC leaves your wallet.. ?
Unfortunately - forever.

no. you can "convert" the btc private key to ltc private key, and "release" your coins from btc-named ltc multisig address.

Hmm.. Try it! Send some money from your LTC wallet to BTC multisig address.. It goes out.. and for ever..

That's because the address generation for multsig addresses is the same between bitcoin and litecoin. If you have all the private keys for the addresses, you can get your coins back.
