Hi, I am newbie here. I do not have enough $$$ to exchange bitcoins so how can I get free bitcoin?

Just like any money. You can sell something or do some work for bitcoin. That's how I get money.

It is exactly the same if you would ask someone: "How to get free money?" And there is nothing for free in this world. There are faucets which could generate 'free' bitcoins for you but when you take a closer look it is just a waste of time as income from them is insignificant and you will be only wasting your time. If you don't have initial money you can invest you won't be earning  much, you need skills or good you could sell.

Believe it or not this isn't a bad idea.  There is a service like this available listed on the forums :D  But like others said the best thing to do is get some sort of job.  Playing faucets is a waste of time.  You would be better off doing almost anything else.  What skills do you have?  Surely you can offer something to this community.  Can you make art?  Programming?  Maybe you can hand carve wooden bit coins to sell as a novelty?  Go check out the market section and see what others are doing there to make money.  I bet you can do something too.  Also look in to escrow (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0) if you plan to sell anything.  Until you build up a reputation as trusted you will need an escrow.

Do small task , find bitcoin-gets, coinworker, or find a giveaway you can find in games and round section, sell your skill in service section, sell goods in goods section, or easy way is earn from faucet(but waste your time) and join SIG campaign is easy way too.

There's an admirer for every pair of breasts in the world. I guess he needs to start putting them out there to find that match made in heaven. I think some suggestive glimpses would get the ball rolling.

Bitcoin is not a get rich scheme.  Faucets are really a waste of time.  If you use faucets you will spend hours for cents of earnings.  It's crazy low and never equals what time amount in my opinion.

Really best option is joining a signature campaign.  You can earn a little whall doing your normal posting.  Pay get's better the higher rank you are at (normally).

I think that by telling someone new to bitcoin and they have the fever that something free is nothing but a waste of time is kinda harsh. By doing the faucet thing you can become aware of alot of different ideas and opportunities that they have never seen before and they need to learn from hard knocks rather than being shot down before ever getting started.

Not really free though, is it? You're giving them your precious time in return for piddling amounts. Time is the ultimate currency. We only have so much of it left and there are far more constructive and lucrative ways to spend it.

IMO faucets are a waste of time.  Trading altcoins can be very profitable, but you have to be really careful.  It isn't easy to make money on this, you have to know what you are doing.  I think the best way to get into alts is to trade with very small amounts.  If you are using only $10 or less then you won't care too much if you lose, and at the same time you will learn a lot about alt coins.  You can read about it all you want, but until you get your feet wet you will still be a beginner.

Or you can go work for someone and post your services section.

I`m always looking to hire extra posters who qualify and follow the rules and the agreement. If youre doing the faucet route, I hope you use the referral system more then you do on the captcha.

There are actually better ways than faucets as of late in terms of earning. Examples include:

Payment of the faucets is very low, from what I saw the Campaign Sig pay a much higher value. Once my account has a higher level I will join some while so I'm offering online services on other websites to join BitCoins.

i remember one of the faucets used to give out ~5 BTC a claim back when bitcoin was much, much cheaper. now its just a couple thousand satoshi at the most, but people still think faucets will actually make you money.

They probably equal out at similar values if you take exchange rates into account.

I do find it pretty amazing that anyone bothers with faucets still. All you'd have to do is sell some old shit on Ebay and use the cash to buy BTC and you're a million miles ahead of any faucet user.

There are many faucets around but you can try your luck on a couple of dice sites aswell, usually they give you some free btc to play with.

Almost everyone has a small amount of old crap they can sell. Get rid of it and you're instantly rolling in BTC land.

ill have to agree; i tried freebitco.in just to see how much I could actually get in a week; i landed about 70k satoshi. compare this to 1 post from my signature campaign; 1 post already makes almost double that. put into perspective; 70k satoshi is not even worth a quarter (USD). It's a LOT better than normal faucets, but NOT better than signature campaigns/working. Do note, however, that 99.999% of the guide is automated. Just use Rollin's own bot.

It is market regulated...
the average reward is fixed by the market...
In other words the claimers fix themself the reward.
It is the only one which works with a such system.
It is the faucet which can never be completly dry.

I developped this system because I have been so often desapointed by dry faucets.
Average reward can be low but never "zero" and if it is low...you know it.
You will never seen 1000 per claim every 60 minutes and if you claim you see:
unsufficient funds...
you try again 60 minutes later...and same story...etc...etc.
With winspiral's faucet you see the average and if the average is low...it is not hidden.
It is why the winspiral's faucet will have a "just" success.
A "just" success because claimers are not scammed by a "claim much" and finaly a "claim nothing at all"

you can create your referral link after your first claim validated by myseld.
Just know that to hold your account you have to be active at least 1 per month.
I cannot hold inactive accounts for ever and for finally nothing.

I guess it's just a cycle of some people making newbie accounts to post the same questions more than once in order to have people involved and use their higher level accounts to post replies in such repeated threads to gain more earnings from their signatures.

Free money? there is no such thing as free money. They have invested money or something valuable to obtain Bitcoin. They are just lucky the price went up.

the only one rich from faucets are the faucet operators; they can afford to give out 50% referral commissions, and a faucet as big as freebitcoin gives out several btc every week. the guy running it is probably making double of what he pays out from the ads.

Anyways so may here fight for referrals.  It's going to be a tough battle to even get ten let alone hundreds.  You would need to build a faucet rotators or something with something no one else has to get the hundreds.

Yes i agree with that. Crowdflower also offer survey tasks quite often, and surveys always pay good. People are earning from mturk and Bitcoinget is not bad, You just need to get promoted to level 2 or level 3(max) which is not difficult.

Every thing costs time. It all depends on your patience. I always believe in the philosophy of "Invest to earn". I won't rely much on freebies.

This is one of my favorite arguments that nothing in life is free.  It cost's time/effort/money , etc.    You are trading something for something else.

But as far as earning BTC go with sig campaign.  It is best way for most on spending time or BTC.   Best is if you have a skill that can be sold.

at least there is no risk involved, when tou trade for example you spend time and put your money at risk, the same for other investments that require you to put money, with faucets and signature your money are safe, they are only time consuming

i like the latter better, the huge risk investments ar enot for me but they are more remunerative if you're good enough

Only if the sig campaign you are in the owner doesn't go bust or they decide they don't want to do anymore and changes ownership in the middle of the payout period, then the campaigners are screwed out of getting paid.
Seen alot go this way recently. So it isn't a reliable way to make bitcoin. Unless you are in a reliable sig campaign like I am :D

thats what escrowers are there to do; ensure the people enrolled in the campaign get paid. people usually ask for an escrow to feel safe about joining their campaign, people not being paid has happened before.

Go with a good well known signature campaign.  There are some that are unfortuantly not that great and might leave you without payment.  Yes escrow can stop this as other said.  But most sig campaigns dont do escrow.

But research is key, see how long it has ran.   If it's ran for many many months there very small chance they will end it without paying.  I for example have been very happy with my sig campaign I'm in and have been in it for 4 months. 

So my other advice find a good one and stick with it :).

Most of the free cryptocurrency coins that I have received have actually come from giveaways that were on here, Reddit, or Twitter. There are considerable communities with established, generous members that exist on each of those platforms. Just always be respectful and thankful of whoever is giving.

Yes I too agree that there is no free bitcoin. Faucets also a has some work namely solving captcha. But the small work will get you very small amount for the time you required for that faucet. That's the reason many people are not doing faucets once they get some bitcoins.

Faucets literally pay cents per hour.   It's one of the worst things you can do with your time.

If you learn about bitcoin, it is much easier to do something such as a signature campaign.  If you don't spam this works good for both sides.  They are pretty popular at this point.

Only other one I ever won once was a giveaway.  It was only like 20 bucks... but I spent like 5 minutes on entry.   So a giveaway is possible but look at my activity... considering I got one that paid decent in all that time it's not the easiest to find.

I don't think claiming on faucets was the closest to free bitcoin. Faucet requires time and effort solving captchas so basically it was a paid to solve captchas :D IMO you can get the free bitcoins on giveaways, just post your btc address on a giveaway thread and you'll get free btc ;)

yeah it's dead, it was 1k at the launch, i was there mining it, then dropped to 300 then it was the end basically, never recovered

He posted in a few threads for beginners about burst.  My fear is someone will invest without researching it.  I just remember how great he made it sound... then I did the math on mining multiple times realizing it's crazy low.    It was not designed very well for long term mining with mining multi TB getting a few dollars a  month, or people just don't care about it and it hold's no value.

If I get this right, you are offering to show someone how to gamble to make BTC???  If you can do this, why do you not just do the gambling yourself and keep the profit?  This is not making much sense to me, please correct me if I am wrong.

Please read the threads thoroughly.  There is no FREE bitcoin out there.  You can mine it, spending money to mine and you will make some.  You can also go to the faucets where you need to complete a task or such to claim "free" BTC, but there is no such thing as free, you have to do something to get it.

You should read this topic and find another one. because there are people already explain all way to earn free bitcoin like signature campaign, etc. and remember there are free.

The bitcoin faucet industry has really taken off, you can now even play phone games and earn BTC, so when you are bored, get your phone out and earn btc.

$15 in a month is a quite low buddy. faucets are good, but not good for long-term imo. i prefer signature campaign because you can earn more than faucets in a month.

Be happy that not every one want sign campaign because if it were so...you would earn nothing or almost nothing.
