Title: Informative Bitcoin Website Needs help!
Post by: rynmln on September 09, 2012, 09:00:03 PM
I've just created this website http://btcetc.tumblr.com (http://btcetc.tumblr.com) on tumblr covering interesting and helpful info about the Bitcoin, but I need help creating content.

If you'd like to contribute please submit an article or tip to http://btcetc.tumblr.com/submit (http://btcetc.tumblr.com/submit) and include an address for donations which I'll use to credit the author. I want it to be a community driven effort and a one stop shop for folks to keep track of the bitcoin and relevant info on tumblr.

If you need some extra bitcoins there are opportunities to place your bitcoin address in place of mine for donations. http://btcetc.tumblr.com/ad (http://btcetc.tumblr.com/ad)

If you're an advertiser there are opportunities to advertise your product or service in the sidebar. http://btcetc.tumblr.com/ad (http://btcetc.tumblr.com/ad)

Also, if you're on tumblr please give it a follow.

For one week your charging 1btc for an ad, that is way too high, unless you can provide stats of the number of uniques you get which would have to be in the 100,000's, you will never get that unless you trick some newbie into giving that to you.

Thanks for the tip. I'll lower that or extend the ad for a month or both. I don't want to trick anyone. I'm still getting familiar to all of this myself, which is why I asked for help in the first place. I just enjoy blogging and social networking and I want to help get bitcoins into the mainstream.
