I don't understand it either & to be honest I can't really bothered to learn, I don't trade or make multiple deals/transactions here so I'm not really bothered.
I just enjoy using the forum to gain more knowledge on bitcoin & to chat about daily goings on in the bitcoin world.

Really wonder to see this profile after getting so many negative feedback but it still shows neutral, is that person hacked the trust system or there is any kind of bug that shows me to default like other have?

As long as nobody from the default trust list bothered to give him a negative, he's as good as new :)
Maybe you can ask Vod to do that, he use to be rather eager to spread negatives (which in most cases is very good actually).

Vod is currently sailing the Pacific (seriously!).

You can change your default trust list, or if he has directly scammed you, then you can give him negative trust and the number will go red for you.
I agree that the default trust list is not really working anymore, those on the list can do what they want, and those not on the list have no power to help others avoid being scammed.

Maybe all legendaries should be on the list, unless they have a negative trust.

but it shows me clear Red Trust -30 as i think it depends on members ranking as i am hero member, there is nothing wrong with trust system as it's working properly.

Do you have anything special in your trust settings? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust

No i don't have anything special in my trust settings it seems that profile's negative feed backs visible only to above 480 activity, you are only 18 points away from to get this ;)

depends on layers (Trust depth (max 4)) of trusted feedback. Dunno, what is default (I guess 2), but on layer 2 it is really showing: Trust:    0: -0 / +0

mods, admin...anybody, please start doing something with the trust system, it is not obviously working as intended..

Oh, indeed, this is the one!
I played to set it by hand.
If I set it to 3, our guy has -30, as you stated.
If I set it to 4 (max), he has -4093: -12 / +3  ;D

Maybe the trust depth increases with the rank and that makes amiryaqot have trust depth 3 while I have trust depth 2?

But it's known that current trust system is in trouble. I guess that the big hope is that we move quick (yeah...) on the new forum software and there maybe this is better thought/done.

Lol I like how this forum it's just a spam fest nowadays.
Default Trust you shouldn't use it if you don't like it, simple as that

now, it should be fixed or disabled, because this magic with layers leads to situation, that majority of users seems blackarrow with 0 trust (even he scammed dozens of people)

yes i just changed my trust settings depth to max4 so that is go up to -4093, i think so default settings go up when our member rank got increase and it was there max 3 by default but now i have changed it to max 4 there.

No. That is not the case here. Your trust perception is not dependent on what level your bitcointalk account is. You could be legendary user with 2k activity and you still see default trust as normal.
The only thing that can change your perception of trust ratings is setting your own trust depth higher.

And thats the problem, we should see all trust ratings like the same, some people shouldnt have more weight than others just because the sake of it.

The real problem is that you don't understand why yours is a really bad idea.
If all ratings weighed the same, anyone could just push their trust score to huge levels by creating fake accounts and leaving positive feedback.

So rating him wont have an effect? I tried rating him now, i show up as trusted feedback though im not sure how it is for others.

And to be honest, i dont understand where the problem is coming from. I dont see any higher positive trusted rating so all these green trust persons rating are not in anyones default trust list?

Wrong. There is no correlation with seeing negative feedback and 480 activity.
For me he is: Trust:   10: -0 / +1

I would also advise you to keep the default trust depth where it is. Ratings from members on depth 3 or 4 shouldn't matter to anyone.
And thats the problem, we should see all trust ratings like the same, some people shouldnt have more weight than others just because the sake of it.

It is a very bad idea. That would be so much prone to abuse and we couldn't trust anyone or anything by then.
The system in place is decent, and nothing better has been suggested so far, thus is is the (currently) best solution.

Dudes, BlackArrow must be the most trusted Bitcoiner, otherwise he wouldn't still be allowed to connect to this forum's API via some script to having the ability to automatically delete posts within 15 minutes max from his self-moderated thread penned by those he's deemed a thread to his conning ways, i.e., me.

I challenge you to cite one other Bitcoiner that's allowed to utilize said ability, obviously saved for only the most trusted Bitcoiner, BlackArrow.

I, too, see the -2, bud. That said, why the fuck are you tryin' to destroy the rep of the most trusted Bitcoiner?  :'(
