the chance of getting to $300 is small. even if we manage to go over $300 , i doubt we will manage to stay above that level. price won't go up all the time.

I would like too. But seems it will get up and downs. The ideal price for July maybe would be $350. I love the green color after bitcoin price :)

even if bitcoin will not reach 300USD in July, I like how fast reacts to current situation in Greece. I'll be very happy with ~300 until end of this year instead of fast bubbles like before.

As there is the greek situation happening, bitcoin has experienced slightly more activity. As the chances of bitcoin adaption fluctuate, my best bet would be that bitcoin strikes at 280/300$ in july but slides down slowly the next month too.

don't be hasty. this was a nice rise and it is looking good. especially because of the recent news about Greece and their attention to bitcoin, which i think was a huge thing after a long time.
but i think we have to see how the market reacts for a couple of more days to be able to predict any moon or even $300 in the upcoming month.

Why not hit $15k? We've had 2011 and 2014, now let's get 2015. And then crash to $1000.

i hope it will be happen in the middle or end of july the bitcoin price reach until $300 but i'm not 100% sure about that

$300 is nothing. We were just in an 18-month bear market and it doesn't mean the bull cycle is broken. There is evidence to suggest that the price has been suppressed by market manipulators and accumulation has been going on during this great depression. When we get back to the bull market, when the whales decide to pump the price again, when people waiting in the sidelines jump in, when FOMO kicks in... we are gonna shoot way past $300.

this is to be expected, because no one will be satisfied with a mere 300, when the ATH is x4 that, if we can't return to the ath with the halving or before 2020 at most(the other halving), then it means that something went utterly wrong with bitcoin

I dont care much of the $300 price, but I feel like its only temporary due to greeces limited option that spiked up the demand for now.

People wanting to move money, but they cant.. which seems a bit obvious. I want more of solid $300 price points that hold more then a month lol.

Its $300 in july, but probably fall back in $250 mid range like anything.

Just before the $200 solid price it did the same thing before, before it becomes solid.

If pass 300 wont hold long maybe month or two max. Think this is related to current crisis in Greece and upcoming LTC halving so chances are small to stay at 300 i would like to stay cuz for me it realistic price for now ranging 290-310$

In stocks every uptrend has a downtrend. And the fall will be to about 240

I would not be surprised to see it gain even higher than $300 USD either as a result to a bubble or legitimately, either way seems plausible to me

This prolonged drop brought a lot of investors to secure Their profits, so yes, we will see a return to $ 300 or $ 350 easily.

I don't think the price is going to hit $300 this month. We may see that number breifly, but dumpers will bring the price down agian. I know there is a situation in Greece and Bitcoin could help greek citizens but it won't keep the value of bitcoin above $300 for a long period of time.

I personally am hoping that Bitcoin will touch its $300 price point in July. But who knows if it will, I think we may need to see a little bit of luck for that to happen. We will see though, I hope July will be good for Bitcoin.

Even if it does touch $300, people will realize that Bitcoin just needs an excuse to break out. Today it is Greece, tomorrow it could be another country. Nations keep screwing up their economies.

honestly with the recent $268 spike i believe now that the huge breakout is a strong possibility now.

When the price was down to 215 the whole forum was screaming it's going to go down to 120. Now the whole forum is screaming it's going to go to 300 after a pump to 268+. The price might do the opposite of what everyone thinks it's going to do again.

not quite as I remember it.
at $215 the forum was saying the price was being artifically held at the $200-$230 range which it was.
and yes it may well have gone well below $120 if a whale or two had not stepped in.

and the whole forum is not now saying $300 - the way I read it people do not know why it is going up (perhaps a pump) - it is not from new money coming in and not from the Greek crisis so the price is being speculated heavily and may well go over $300 quickly.
but nothing has changed in a fundamental sense so people buying now should realise when there is a dump that the whale might be gone this time and it may well do down below $215. if you can afford to lose $100 or more per bitcoin in the short term then jump in now by all means.

will resurrect this post in 3 months time - that should be enough to see what really has happened... maybe I will be wrong and own up (but I doubt I will need to. ;D)

i was thinking about this, there should be a website about betting what the price of bitcoin will be in the future, it would be fun

and btw we are still fighting to reach 275, let alone 300, better to move a step by step

300 would be nice, I still think BTC is under valued at its current price, imo it should be 450 USD per coin. I don't think that's being unfair. I'm unsure if we'll reach 300 this month but I certainly hope so.
I'm still hoping to hear some progress from the Winkles on Gemini, I expect progress on that soon & we could get a significant pump on that news.

The moon? Not really lol just a little rise up and will soon be a nice drop down ready to rebuy back in. We are not going to be rich by buying a few coin and holding the expecting the price to "moooooon" to 'make us rich' forget the richness crap and hope it gets adopted the rest will follow.

i agree. it is soon to call it to the moon and start celebrating, but the price is looking to be increasing overall.

haha 300$ in July? Sounds nice but I don't think its great. The bitcoin price fluctuates a lot and I would go with a steady growth rather than a volatile one. It is simple, with such an increase more dumpers are going to dump and bring the value back to around 200$. I think we will reach 250-270$ max in July!

Bitcoin is a lot closer to $300 then what it was a week or two ago. I personally hope it will reach that price, but no one knows for sure if it will or not. But the price rise today is a great start for Bitcoin being on the way to $300.

You are assuming it to be really wrong, because 300$ is not high enough, yes it did spike up because of the Great Greek economic collapse tragedy but it doens't mean that its existence will revolve around the money generated in a stupid country on somewhere on this earth. Nobody gives a fuck about Greece, even Greece does not a fuck about Greece, then why you trippin bro? btc will rise, and so will we.

If it breaks $300 again, what's to stop it from dropping like a rock down to where it was before like last time it hit $300? I don't think any dramatic price increases are going to happen in July.

The upward price movement has already been significant. Bitcoin has a tendency to move very fast, so nothing can be ruled out. The current upward momentum comes after a prolonged period of sideways movement and is supported by solid volume. Because of that, I don't think the movement will be short-lived.

It's funny looking at the first comments in this thread. We've already seen 280, we have 20+ days to surpass those 20 remaining dollars for 300. It's obvious people isn't objective anymore about the price and went on the depressive mode instead of the realistic one.

last month because of the quite market and all the negative trolls nobody even thought of the price going to $300 but after the Greece news and reversal of the market it is a strong possibility.
I think after a small pull back we can see a runup at the end of the week and we may even see $300 by the end of next week.

It's possible that this runup can happen later today or tomorrow. This problem in Greece and Europe in general is strong and loads of people around the globe are reacting towards it as the different local markets are stagnant or dwindling and the ways to make money are chilled or worse.

Market scenario is changing no doubt. Yes price can reach upto 300 USD, but then the consequences won't be permanent. It will be temporary .After Greece crisis , the market has been really unpredictable.

I wish I had the new job I do now a month ago.  :(  I just got it in the past 5 days.  If I had the extra cash I would have honestly totally bought 300 USD worth last month.

It is trying but I don't think it will reach the 300 mark though. But look at the bright side. People thought it was dead when it almost dropped at 200 and now the optimism is back in the community.

The price is unlikely to be 300$ in July. But we always need to put a positive approach towards things. People would be more than happy to have 300 something value. Since the market situation is volatile enough.

Yes, but some people are very sad who bought the bitcoins at 1000$ expecting it to surpass 10x value because that was the time when bitcoin was booming as fuck. Now, the progress has been really slow and the price value has been fluctuating giving mini heart attacks to cautious investors who are a little anxious about their investments.

I was cautious myself when I was only holding like 10bitcoins as every 2$ the price drops my balances has a heart attack even small drops function dramatically... Getting to 280would be pretty amazing

you have to either do day-trading and watch the price on every one of the ups and downs or invest for long term and buy at a price that you are comfortable with and never look at the market again untill it goes up at least over $300
other than that you are going to have a heart attack :D
