“Lyra2RE” (RE – Reduced Efficiency), a NIST5 based chained algorithm with customizable parameters useful for thwarting future ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) threats.

Stealth addresses facilitate the private exchange of funds between parties.

Rarity is a factor that inherently creates value. Lower rewards, small premine and a finite supply all add to the overall value of the International Euro

A host of others features including fast confirmations, full decentralization, and community driven support make the iEuro a well rounded cryptocurrency.

Post by: NoobKidOnTheBlock on July 01, 2015, 07:13:27 AM
So when exactly does this ICO start? Because if there 0 block reward for like the first 20k+ blocks then how is there already like 200 of these coins for sale on that altbitex where the ICO is supposed to be held? Also isn't the ICO supposed to be 8k coins so where did these like 200 iEURO come from?

Title: Re: [ANN] International Euro - ASIC Resistant Cryptocurrency
Post by: coinmaster222 on July 01, 2015, 07:19:58 AM
There is only 8000 for sale and the ICO starts 7am est the 200 were test coins so we just left them on the exchange for anybody that wanted them. You will notice the ICO now consists of 7800 coins.

I'm not seeing any sort of implementation or value proposition besides rarity.

Low mining reward over a relatively long PoW period over variable block time all but guarantees a settling value far below the ICO price of 0.009 (2250 BTC for total supply).

The right move on this is to buy despair dumps.

within 6 weeks it will have retail gateways debit card superfast confirmations and stealth addresses

The ICO is now open and sorry to say there will be no despair dumps as the whole ICO is underwritten

what speed to r9280x this algorithm?

It highly depends on your card, drivers, config, and miner kernel used. You can expect anywhere between 800-1780 KH/s
I recommend using pallas' code from the op. His thread is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=946655.0

The reward for blocks is 1 coin. Just a few miners that got more blocks than one. Solomining because no fee.

This is correct. Due to pool issues (being worked on) it seems solo mining is a good bet for the moment.

Set up your config with daemon and listen options, then run your miner.
Example for cpuminer:

Code:
./cpuminer -a lyra2 -o http://localhost:26888 -u ieurorpc -p rpcpassword

So im assuming this richlist is not reading correctly?

Whats with all the addresses with balances of exactly 1

https://chain.euros.international/richlist

The reward for blocks is 1 coin. Just a few miners that got more blocks than one. Solomining because no fee.

This is correct. Due to pool issues (being worked on) it seems solo mining is a good bet for the moment.

Set up your config with daemon and listen options, then run your miner.
Example for cpuminer:

Code:
./cpuminer -a lyra2 -o http://localhost:26888 -u ieurorpc -p rpcpassword

Is this coin lyra2 or lyra2RE ?!

op says lyra2RE. im not sure if theres a difference.

there is a big difference, yes, its a totally diferent algo :)

oh ok I see “Lyra2RE” (RE – Reduced Efficiency), a NIST5 based chained algorithm with customizable parameters useful for thwarting future ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) threats.

I think I see some conflicting issues here from a Guy With btc in his name so I will answer his questions if I can.

1.ICO equals potential alarm,The Ico is a way of the Dev team to raise funds to further benefit the coin its crowd funding.Potential alarm?? recently several of the so called major coins had 98% and 100% premine. The team cannot be expected to fund everything the cost of retail gateways Debit Cards and further development. This ICO is underwritten
2.Supply at 250,000 and the ability to break down further its the perfect size
3.name not as confusing as some out there
4.plans well as I mentioned its will have retail gateways and a card plus other technology apart from stealth

And yes its Lyra2re as per the Dev saying to stop the ASIC mining

OK, i've corrected that, Pool is now finding blocks and hashing fine.

@Dev: You might want to add Suprnova to the OP ? :)

The biggest potential for crypto currency is not to be a country or global currency, but to be used for a defined purpose by a an individual or a company

cpuminer-multi uses "-a lyra2" (meaning lyra2re) ... it's just lazy coding on his part

Oh sorry, GDC crashed at launch badly (mostly because altcoin scene became ultimate P&D scheme) and I did not have a time nor mood to alter my signature. And it still persists ;)

Title: Re: [ANN] International Euro - ASIC Resistant Cryptocurrency

Nothing to do with your signature you were one of the devs of it and people lost a fortune and you never even tried with it you just stole there money
The Dev of this coin does not get the premine until the exchange is satisfied that everything is being carried out so no chance he can just skip away

I was not the dev of GDC, how can You say that? I just proclaimed that witch my signature and actually lost about 1.75 BTC on that..Never tried? Take a look at

You mean cryptonex.com - cryptonex.net does not exists at all. And If You ask someone for money, You can´t hide and blame it on spam, as there are other ways how to ensure spam won´t hit You. Anyway If You think that someone will trust company hidden by other company which offers domains hidden by proxy, You must be more stupid than I thought descend to level of the other abject scammers... I deeply despise your kind.

We need another exchange

We need another exchange
You cannot have another exchange during an ICO and its slowly selling here now people realise the exchange is legal and regulated
If you have fear in the exchange we can sell blocks of shares 250 and above using escrow

Your missing the point!
Its about familiarity. As much as you want us to trust that exchange, which i assume you are benefiting from in some way from your words here in this thread, your fighting 2 battle fronts. 1 getting users to buy into your ICO and 2 getting users to start and trust a new exchange. And you don't think this will hamper your coin?

I haven't seen a buy execution on that site since i found this thread 2 days ago. At least on yobit you would of had some movement already.
Anyways, as i said in the pm to you. Good luck with your coin! I like being part of something where feedback is accepted! This one seems off.  :-\

What happens to ICO coins not sold?
We dont expect any left, you have a retail gateway soon plus a debit card, but the real purpose of international euro think gaming. The US Gov
about to ban on-line Gaming completely, stealth address, small finite number of coins VPN and I will leave the rest to your imagination.
Please sign up at slack to discuss international euro

Even this answer!
You don't expect to have any left?

But you didn't answer my question.
Are the remaining coins not sold during the ICO going to be kept by the dev or destroyed? I think miners would like to know this information.

I have already told you you cant move exchanges during an ICO and the exchange will buy any shares left, then it will be difficult to move if they own a large chunk of shares.I try to answer everything I can,and a slack site was set up to do that but I cant force people to do things I can only ask.The exchange knows the value of the coin and what its going to be used for and thats why they are happy to pick up the spare

Not that i am advocating it, but there is nothing technically stopping another exchange from opening up the market  and miners trading their coins. Although it would be considered kind of rude.

Yes i know what ICO means, but since there are coins on the blockchain out site altbitex.com via POW mining miners are free to trade/move these coin around on the blockchain.

Again not that i am advocating it, but there is nothing technically stopping another exchange from opening up.

I personally am mining and holding right now.

If you tell me there will be support for the coin I will list it as well on Bleutrade well I will try its up to the exchange to accept it.In the mean time I will have an in house sales here.Anybody that wants coins tell me here and I will send them to your address then you can send the btc.If someone scams me i will put negative trust in there name and stop sales, now how more honest can the Dev team be.All I ask is after the deal you leave me trust.

Im just as disappointed.. not too much cooperation here. A coin ain't shit without support from a community.
I hate to say it straight but judgement must be cast.

The Dev is owner or has some stake in the exchange. What is scary is that he suggested the remaining ICO coins not sold would be purchased by the exchange.. RED FLAG ..

I'll say no more, and just leave it to others to come to their own conclusions.
Just get on with the promised by wall so i can dump this ish. Or if anyone wants to buy some well below ICO price, just send me a PM

While I understand both sides of this argument that is going on, and your concerns jambo110. As bluedeep has said it was known up front that this coin had an ICO, and with that ICO still on going its not surprising that no other exchange has yet picked up this coin (although technically possible to do so).

Has this dev been perfect? No, but I do feel that this dev has generally been trying to appease the the community.

Im out!
What's wrong with you? You knew it that there is an ICO, no one was forced to mine this coin..I know it is frustrating to have no exchange where to dump what you mined ..And please keep this thread  cleanly  so take you FUD with you and leave us...
You don't care adout this coin ..not with such attitude.

And don't forget that I'm a miner too...with no much btc left but keep mining...I'm not searching to dump because I like this coin and have confidence in this project

Dev was not straight from the get go.
I asked him about another exchange... most devs would give a normal answer, but this guy asked me "what's wrong with the exchange its on?"

Im not an idiot. Sry.. could also care less, like i got time to fud for the freaks of the bitcointalk threads.. get a woman!

I did ask you whats wrong with the one its on,at least its legal. Cryptsy has lied from day one about its MSB licence and has no legal right to operate Bitrexx is just full of scam coins and pump and dumps.Bleutrade I like and have applied to get the coin on there.Everyone likes Banx.io and nobody says its a scam yet like Altbitex they both operate through Cryptonext platform.

My 0.0001 BTC:

1. You can choose to fill out your info on Altbitex to trade fiat OR you can use a throwaway email and keep it anonymous by only trading cryptocurrency.
Your personal information is not required, and no one is forcing you to do anything. Use your head.

2. We have no interest in paying any of the "Pay-to-list" extortionist exchanges. You are welcome to, but it's not in our roadmap and never will be.

3. If you are "out", prove it by sending what you've mined to the burn address (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1104958.msg11784698#msg11784698) and leave. We don't need/want you here. See you on the moon, kiddo.

Well it was 14 days but as I am trying to get it on bleutrade we may move some of the coins there and destroy the rest, because people were scared to use the exchange saying it was a scam the Ico did not go well so the retail gateways and cards might take longer than planned on the roadmap

Well due to some bottom dweller telling Bleutrade this is a scam coin they refused to list it,they are only hurting the miners not anyone else,so the only resort is to list it on Bittrex but we need to sell 200 coins and I will use the first sale for the listing price of 2BTC if you want another exchange thats the only way
It's ok , sell 200 or many is needed and put on Trex ! BTW I don't see any scam here so don't worry about what the haters talk!

I supported your coin.
The problem is, you hosted the ICO on an exchange that no one has ever heard of.

3 Exchanges that i know of host ICO's C-Cex, Yobit and Bittrex.

You should of contacted yobit for a hosting, they probably would have no prob.
The issue here is you trying to convince people that the exchange is legit.. which it probably is. But its still new.

Right this is for coin holders and miners only
I have tried all three exchanges and all three refused, the reason being the name is too close to the Euro and there frightened it gets confused for it

Sorry. We can add this coin because the name is similar to fiat EURO.

Best regards,

Rodrigo Henrik
COO/CMO Bleutrade

That is one of them the rest are the same.

So i think I must give you two options for miners and coin holders
!. stay with the exchange we are with
2 do a name change straight away while the coin is still young the choice is yours and I will go with the concensus
If we do a name change you get new exchanges free ones till we sell enough to get on to Trexx if you vote for a name change new suggestions welcome

To let the guys who cant afford expensive mining equipment get a level playing field. Why pay $500+ for an S5 thats out of date in about 6months
Remember you can mine from your wallet I mined more from my wallet than I did at nicehash but it helps having 16 core with top of the range nvidia cards running at over 12Mhz

No Vert is Lyra2re designed to resist the development of custom mining hardware and multipool mining, ensuring that transactions are validated by a widely distributed network and avoiding the selling pressure when large mining pools indiscriminately flood the market with freshly mined coins.

Some possible names some may be wack idk. Depends on the vision. I stuck with one word names without "coin" that haven't been used.

Zing
Ping
Zip
Dinero
Zephyr
Loot
Flip
Flash
Vista
Snap

You could also consider Fiverr.com for professional logos they are pretty cheap. 5 bucks and they accept bitcoin.

I've been trying to think of a good name for the last hour or so, but it seems like everything i come up with has already been used by another coin.

Only idea i have so far that i feel is worth bringing up is Amero or iAmero.

There was a coin called Amero before but it appears to be dead. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=428226)

Otherwise i am all out of ideas :/

As from Monday the 13th the Ieuro name will change due to exchanges refusing to list a coin called Euro in case of confusion. From Monday it will be known as the Zoom Coin. All changes are at present being done but everything mining wise will be the same till Monday.A new page will go up with details and Roadmap etc new Facebook page Twitter account will all change over the weekend.I know its not a great start but it is the consensus of those who voted, for the name change to get on other exchanges.Zoom to the Moon folks

Just to reiterate:
These are cosmetic changes. Addresses, coin specs, and etc will remain the same. You don't need to do anything different for the moment.

Once you're ready to migrate to the new wallet, you'll want to stop ieurod and rename your old ieuro folder to zoom:

Linux example:
Code:
mv ~/.ieuro ~/.zoom

And you'll need to rename your config
Code:
mv ~/.zoom/ieuro.conf ~/.zoom/zoom.conf

Then launch zoomd. Nothing to it, tbh.

People asked how the coins went down on the exchange with no buys really shown.Only appox 980 coins were sold a lot off the exchange,250 to a member of the Mue team 500 to a woman in North Carolina and 138 to a miner. The actual coins left in the IPO is 7083. 2000 were moved from the IPO but still at the exchange to go to Bleutrade but never got listed so still sitting at Altbitex. So will split the 7000 in 3 and set a wall at each exchange. Yobitt  Bleutrade and Altbitex at 0.09 if the and when the coin moves higher in weeks to come if you want you will get arbitraging across the exchanges. We have great plans for the coin and more development to do but you must realise it takes money or to be honest I would Pay the lead dev and burn the rest but due to the fact my credit card is near max out paying for things and have to pay more with name change its not viable to burn them. Please take that into account. To order debit cards and then get them maintained by the bank cost an arm and a leg, then there is retail gateways to buy previous web domains and hosting new web domains and hosting its never ending. Its only about 4% premine not like Neucoin that had 98% and sold out in hours or Ripple that had 100% so please dont think that size of premine is a ripp off,if you do you try it with no premine and see how you do. Thanks for reading my rants and may Zoom Zoom on

Why Greece will adopt a 9 days aged coin when there are many well established coins on the market? :D
