Mined at your pool loads of times, and at suprnova. Never had problems with either. I think the reason most people seem to be mining with OC is because lately he's usually first to these ninja launches. People can't be bothered changing pools most of the time. Just set pools up for non ninja coins if it bothers you, I bet it'll be 50/50 then You crying about it doesn't help.

I always wanted a shroom coin.

This coin isn't distributed well enough. There won't be any success if only 5 people own coins. These short term PoW then PoS coins are so stupid. This is probably just a scam by someone with some bitcoin ASICs miners.

If you're going to give all the coins away in a few days of mining... whats the point? The coins are worthless because they weren't hard to mine. You would be better off giving them all away for free to poor people.

POS can support network. Long POW is outdated nowdays.

So ummm 3 or 4 people hold the majority of the coin supply and just stake the shit out of them and just continuously dump a bit here and there until they get their buys up enough then DUMP HARD!! And the coin is DEAD? lol ;)

Well how did you decided that only 5 people owns coins? I think that there are a lot more miners than just 5. And BTW it is hard to mine i could show you tons of coins with easy mining but this wasn't easy to mine

Mate i guess you are simply trolling show me a coin with 60 sec block time where 3 hours after launch there are less than 300 blocks mined there weren't milliseconds block spacings at launch i mined bunch of other coins and i can assure you that this one wasn't easy to mine

I'm not trolling I was seriously asking a serious question about the coin because I just didn't see how you could say it wasn't easy to mine this coin when we aren't even at block 300 yet that's all lol And actually 60 second blocks would be 60 blocks an hour so 180 blocks in 3 hours and we are currently at block 292 or something so I would have to say that the coin is pretty much right on track :D But don't think I meant any disrespect or I was "trolling" as you put it I just didn't understand how you could say it wasn't easy to mine this coin that's all :) Cheers

Well for me easy minning is when i arrive at time let's say at block 20-50 and i can still mine tens of blocks, and here out of luck i arrived first(even mined the first block) and i got 8 blocks in total and they weren't flying in every second, that's why i am saying that it wasn't easy to mine not even in the first second :) And sorry if i insulted you, i just reacted a bit harsh when i read that it was easy to mine, i hoped for an easy mine when i saw that i mined the first block, i thought i will easily get 40-50 blocks in the first minute but it wasn't the situation unfortunately :P

All pools have a right to existence and different pools should exist for various reasons including security and competition. With new and smaller coins it does happen that people flock to pool because of human nature - greed - meaning if everyone mines on one pool then they know they will have the best chances of getting coins and maximizing their yield. If you look at established coins the spread to various pools is more reasonable, there will always be human nature factor that pulls behavior in a certain direction. Like with anything in life it needs philanthropic and unselfish behavior to do the right thing eg. give up income to save the rain forest, get to work later to give others a chance on the road or give up chances to get coins to mine on another pool to increase security. These attributes are rare and you have to take it as a given that pools are operating in a hostile environment governed by greed and selfish behavior (cryptoland)

Several mining pools as businesses is not a new concept. It can be compared to several pizza shops in one street or several 2nd hand car dealers in one street or a high street full of jewellery shops. The principles to solve it for all of the examples are the same and comes down to 1) building brand and goodwill, 2) service and customer experience, 3) services, 4) marketing and establishing your business as a leader on at least 2 factors and if those factors do not exist or is too difficult to penetrate you create new ones and 5) you need to understand your competition and what makes them attract business.

If you fail in these things or do not work on them and give them attention you will not attract market share. Having said this, if the characteristics of the environment is irrational - if the pull of human nature is so strong in one direction, then all the best intent and plans and work will be futile eg. if the fallacy of thinking rhino horn gives more sexual drive than eating sea sand does not stop, all rhinos will be killed at some point even those in captivity or if the survival instinct is too strong in the Amazon the rain forest will be all cut off in future and lastly if the greed for maximum coins is too strong, then mining pools will disappear leaving one pool and then everyone has to live with the security consequences etc.

It syncs, just shows out of sync because there was no new block for too long time. Looks like nobody has a mature coins to stake.
Coins from yobit not coming for the same reason - no new blocks no confirmations.

Probably we have to re-enable pow part for some time to help moving the blockchain and build healthy network.
Working on the code now.

New wallet source is ready and sent to Yobit.
As soon as they update their wallet i will release the source and windows binary (we need Yobit to update first to avoid forks).
New version will enable POW up to block 20000 with low reward of 1 coin per block - it will help to cure the blockchain.

Sounds like you put some real effort into this. If it runs fine, you will get good tip from my side ;)

It seems like there is no way to make it public - someone could just mine all pow blocks in a few days and leave the blockchain stuck again.
I don't plan to mine constantly - first will mine some blocks to unstuck the network and confirm all withdrawals and stakes.
Then only a few blocks will be mined from time to time to keep everything moving until network will be strong enough to live on pos blocks.
Mining stats page will be opened to public and pow reward will be only 1 coin.

btw, Yobit didn't update their daemon yet.

I think it could help if you guys submit tickets too and ask them to fix SHRM.
