The thing is that sometimes text attaches and sometimes it's not, despite on that I am doing all the same. The messages you see on Blockchain.info has their own database. Hence, when a person embeds a message using their service, the message is stored on their server. If they shuts down, the messages would all be lost. It wouldn't be visible on any other block explorers or client. When you are at the send tab, select custom transaction and you can type a message there. I'll put it on my list of games to play with PyBitcoinTools.The thing is that sometimes text attaches and sometimes it's not, despite on that I am doing all the same. Basically you stick what is called a "NOP" in your output script... so yes... you can put "I love the NSA" in there if you want, though you will have to know how to click on a python script to do it ;) |
