In amazon app store i think they have zero quility control. I have contact blockchain.info for this and they say they will look at it and i have contact and customer support from amazon. Their answer show me how poor is their quality control

I like to say a big sorry to Blockchain for my first post but my first contact with their wallet was a disaster and competly with my fault. I must see that this app was fake and i think was my mistake that i thought it was from blockchain. I will create another wallet in blockchain asap.

Did you have two factor authentication on the wallet?

Blockchain.info does not have access to your private keys. At least they say they don't keep your private keys unencrypted, but its still possible. 2FA is a must on that website.

is surprise to me how easy they steal this coins. Maybe the mobile wallet has a security issue but i use and bitcoin core wallet in blackberry for many months now without any problem. If you notice the transactions i was not the only person that sent btc to that adress. And all of the adresses has small amounts of btc. i dont know what that means

Bitcoin and mobile don't match. Especially android, since the apps can do anything they want, and if you are not careful you could end up downloading a malicious app that will steal all your btcs. Although I do admit I have my blockchain app on android, but I am very careful in what I download. One general tip is to not download ANYTHING that has to do with bitcoin, like a bitcoin price checker because those are the most risky in trying to steal your money.

i have a blackberry and i think is the official bitcoin wallet from blockchain that in amazon app store because there is no other way to download android app there.
Normally i use bitcoin wallet that has a native client for blackberry. But how can so easy control my wallet? is very strange to me. as i say if you notice is like they have wipe out wallets with small amounts of bitcoin because i am not the only one victim.

Blackberry is quite safe actually, if it is verified from the official app store, and verified to be legit then its legit.

You most likely have a virus or malware on your mobile device.
You should scan your mobile device to be sure.

After broad agreement that blockchain.info is one of the best if not the best online wallet - suddenly the recent couple of weeks we have horror story after horror story and people saying they have closed their account there etc..

I wonder if some competitor(s) wallet(s) are targeting blockchain.info and trying to capture customers...??

Blockchain.info used to suffice, but their technology is out of date and extremely vulnerable. It's pretty well accepted now adays that Blockchain is not an adequate wallet, and it has been this way for a while now. @OP, I would recommend not using blockchain.info in the future.

And if you keep using Blockchain.info, only store small amounts on it. The same applies for each web-wallet by the way.

However, two factor authentication makes most wallets really safe. Tip #1: enable two factor authentication.

After seeing how they screwed up showing uncofirmed transactions as confirmed etc i would first of all use another block explorer and second move funds to an actual wallet like electrum.

Its possible that the virus/malware is programmed to work with the blockchain.info mobile wallet, and not the others.
I'm not saying it wasn't blockchain.info itself, but unlikely.
You should nevertheless scan your mobile device, just to be sure.

and this is strange because the last app that i have install was the blockchain app and general i never install other apps in this phone. I have only 5 apps installed four months now. I dont think is a virus especially in a blackberry phone. And what virus is this that target the wallet with the 0.001btc and not the other wallet with 0.2 btc :P in the same phone

it's not blockchain's fault, i believe it's yours and your wallet was probably hacked. Maybe your device/computer had some viruses and malwares or maybe you put your details on a phishing site

No, there are definitely huge security flaws with blockchain. The site should not be used as a wallet, and there are even many superior block explorer alternatives as well. Blockchain should not be the place to store your Bitcoins!!!

and why is hacked only at 5 august and all the transfer in that wallet has done the same day and the same hour from several wallet. And if i have a virus why the target only the 0.001 wallet and not the other with many more bitcoins? This is has not sense at all..

It is also possible the blockchain.info app you downloaded isn't actually the "real" app.
Make sure you downloaded the wallet app from their actual site, as opposed to some other site.

I used the blockchain wallet since I started with bitcoins more than a year ago. They email you for authorisation when a unknown computer wants to access your wallet. I have about 0.5 btc on there for a long time and it's still in my wallet. I think they are safe if you access your wallet securely.

I used them too without 2FA and didn't have any problems either, but I moved to Trezor town yesterday and am very happy I did so. I don't have many BTC but it's still one less thing to worry about.

There was lots of issues before that attackers exploit android bugs to steal bitcoin from wallets. There was an android-Bitcoin Malware on playstore/Google store. But the google have removed it already. Not sure if there are still apps like this. You might have downloaded a malicious software. That's why scrutinizing each app is necessary if you are using android wallet.

So let me get this right, you have had 0.001 bitcoin compromised?
0.001 bitcoin is about 0.2 USD. How will you carry on in life, how will you continue?

Come on man pull yourself together, you should be thankful that you didn't have a large stash in there. This is like losing 20 cents down the back of the sofa. Pull yourself together & be more careful in the future.

I saw reports from people who claimed that other 'wallets' of bitcoin "block 'explorers were infected with malicious code. If you want bitcoin wallet - only download it from Bitcoin.org!

You should be happy that you didn't get burnt by losing a larger sum. It's definitely a good idea to warn the community & tell us about your misfortune but I'd be thanking the Lord above that I didn't lose a significant sum.

Sorry to hear what happened to you but you are also lucky in a way it was such a small amount. My advice would be to stop downloading so many different wallets on different devices. Pick 2 or 3 & stick with them, it's just too risky any other way.

Best of luck in the future.

Did anyone know the official blockchain customer email to sent a report to them about the situation? I have contact them through reditt but i like to contact them and more official. This is very scammy and break the reputation of this company. The other point is how poor is the quality control to upload an app to this stores. They upload an app to amazon with the comunity bitcoin.org site as their company site!!
I dont know if the email is from the bitcoin developers

It is funny and sad they they are not even remotely checking apps. It is paradise for bitcoin scammers: create fake wallet, put fake info about developer with some randomly generated gmail address and you are free to steal people's coins. But you brought this upon yourself really, they are many good wallets listed on bitcoin.org (for Android):Copay, Airbitz Bitcoin Wallet, Bither, Bitcoin Wallet, Hive, Mycelium, GreenAddress, Coinomi Universal Wallet, Ninki - all these apps are tested and proven safe.

Luckily you have been scammed only for 0.001 BTC.
that's definitely not lots of money, roughly 0.27 cents.
However it was a good idea to report this publicly.
I can see blockchain.info is now aware of the issue
as they replied to your reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3g0cob/blockchaininfo_i_have_lost_my_first_btc/) post.
Good luck with busting scammers.
They seem to be everywhere!
Some days ago I mistyped blockchain.info URL and as a result I was led to a coinbase referral link!

i give them an answer to understand the problem

Quote
Hello
Is not a big issue for me because i lost only 0.001bitcoin(0.03euro).
The big problem is the quality control for the mobile app to your store.
This guys give a bitcoin community site as their company site and a
bitcoin developer email as their email and with that fake details they
have upload a scam app to your store.
This is a big problem and i hope to resolve it asap.
I am a many year customer and i trust amazon for my order and for my money.
I think your company can handle this to not happen again.

and finally they sent me an email and they say that they have underastand that this app was a scam and will resolve this matter asap. :)

Doesn't Amazon vet their vendors? That's ridiculous.

So the guys software, the "wallet" you downloaded, it came ready to use, with private keys, that Bitcoin.developer also possesses?

Is that how it worked? Or do you think it just took every deposit and sends it to Bitcoin.developer's mixer?

No offence OP but that scam is beautiful in its simplicity

Why are you suprised? Millions of people are using 123456 as their main password or words like: sex, password, letmein etc. Scammy bitcoin apps are the holy ground of the evildoers.
When you can steal people's btc with ease without problems with fake wallets and apps it is only natural that more malware like that will be created. Nothing can replace common sense and sane brain.

After broad agreement that blockchain.info is one of the best if not the best online wallet - suddenly the recent couple of weeks we have horror story after horror story and people saying they have closed their account there etc..

I wonder if some competitor(s) wallet(s) are targeting blockchain.info and trying to capture customers...??

i wouldn't say best Blockchain lost 17 BTC of mine last December after that Joehoe hack they was supposed to pay everyone back that lost coins and the idiot support staff asked for my wallet id and password over support ticket and someone messaged support acting as me and got my refund  6k  i lost :(

I used the blockchain wallet since I started with bitcoins more than a year ago. They email you for authorisation when a unknown computer wants to access your wallet. I have about 0.5 btc on there for a long time and it's still in my wallet. I think they are safe if you access your wallet securely.
Not really   in the exact words of a Blockchain email  Confirmation Required
An attempt has been made to login to your My wallet account from ip address 80.243.180.98. Enter the confirmation code below to access your account. If it was not you who made this login attempt you can ignore this email.   This ip address took me for 17 Bitcoins as it says if not me that attempted i can ignore the email  ...   yeah right thanks Blockchain :(
