120$ look improbable, i think there's big players drawing the line at 170$. As if they decided "at that value i will buy ALL the coins" or something. At least that's how it looked last time it crashed to that range.

The price should stabilize in the upper $200 region in the upcoming days. Those below $200 price drops are becoming common now and should be predictable.

due to people panic selling their coins for cheap we get the opportunity to buy at these low levels. at this point i have bought enough so far. i have a few buy orders sitting below $200 just in case.

The market will go up down, side aways, backwards, forwards.

Just make your cushion softer in your own methods. Like real methods that you know you have outside profit sources you can use to consider bitcoin as a free loss.

Just snatched something around $200. I'm quite happy with my decision given that I'm still in profit for the last months.

prices seem to be pretty stable now. that big dip yesterday scared me!. :( Hopefully it'll go back up soon.

Seems like that for a change both the cryptocurrencies and the stock markets were in sync.. The whole world basically crashed yesterday ;)

And yesterday, it was a great time to buy in! I wonder what happened in the stock markets and bitcoin? I thought that if stock markets goes down, bitcoin markets go up. I've been proven wrong now.

Yesterday was the ultimate day of fear. Investors would rather have a can of beans than a stock. That's why nothing was going how it normally went. Nothing was safe, including bitcoin.

I was lucky not to get caught up in the panic and now I already to sell it at the price of $230  8) 8)

It doesn't matter if it goes to 1 dollar if you are here long term. In 10 years anyone holding double figures of BTC will be rich and the idiots without future vision will cry for days. It's a basic law of life.

of course I do not sell all, I only sell half of it, because of the need. yes I am sure this will go up, but not in the near future

i agree and i sold my exchange coins too.. but i always hold my cold storage coins.. and i agree it will go up but not short term because i having hard time believing that blockchain drama + bitfinex problems = bullish ....

People don't want to trust anything. They will let opportunity pass them by but 3 years later they will be complaining because of the profit they lost.

It would certainly matter of it went to 1 dollar. Something would almost certainly be up and wrong if it went to that value and miners would abandon it like rats from a sinking ship because they're not going to mine for free. I agree that the price today doesnt matter that much and it hopefully will be a different story in 5-10 years.

Bitcoin soon be halved, and that would make it more rare. Stay focused on collecting Bitcoins not on the people who are making the noise to distract others. :D

I'm not a margin trader, or even a full reserve trader.  I just bought the amount of coin that I'm comfortable with, and will hang on to them no matter what the price dips are, since the level of investment is in the comfortable region for my current circumstances.  I'd be a little worried if I were in the stock market - although everything is taking a hit at the moment it seems.  I just want to keep a level head whilst all around me are losing theirs, (to mess up an old piece of literature).

If the price goes down,it will go up in few days because everyone will start buying taking advantage of low price.That will create demand and supply gap and consequently prices will go up.I hope it touches 1000 $ mark again so that I can make good profit :D

I don't believe the price will be 1000$ again in the next few years. But finally if it will, everyone who believed in bitcoin will be rich.

Yeah, depending on how much folks have. You'd need to have many hundreds of coins at this range to be considered rich or on the way there. So, only the top 1-5% of coin holders will be in this league more than likely. We need five figures for the wealth to really be spread around.

In a few years, the price will stabilize and may me worth upwards of $800 per coin. By Then people will have really caught on and adapted Bitcoin and the technology is improved. Bitcoin is accepted at more places and there is way more awareness of it. It has the potential to be worth millions of dollars. Anyone who ever believed or invested in Bitcoin will be rich.

don't panic we will hit 300$ again

bitcoin price have reached the lowest prices. and suddenly reached the highest level, you should hold the bitcoin course you do not need to worry, bitcoin will definitely be back rise in price

every one rich? you know most people don't even have 1 btc, right? and they fully believe in bitcoin. you're talking about people with at least 1000 btc as you mention rich....

pretty sure people have made hundreds and thousands of dollars from early investments. Compare bitcoin to a shares of the company, sometimes a company isn't able to perform good and the price determined of the company is much lower than what it should be and sometimes much higher. Its all about swift and smart decisions, it ain't no long term lottery biz now, is it

Halved, but the value wont change just cause it becomes more rare.

The market of demand will though, which is what we need. That demand isnt form on the rarity, its more formed on transactions or whats heavily used.

I see the new price for btc if other countries like india get more involved using this method to transmit funds.

Bitcoin is a long term investment.You can make small profit or loss in short terms but if you keep holding it,its going to pay you huge

Unless you have cheap coins or got it basically free, then I dont see anyone profiting.

Plus thats a awful lot of time someone has to wait, that guy above points out in 2012, and false growth on exchanges dont help which is the same year mt.gox was probably still pumping its price.

to the current price of BTC has been stable for several days. with no indication of the increase, although slightly. good news at the end of the 205 increment occurs.

The blip to $200 does seem to have been one-off.

Its better to see it stable then non stable am i right.

I rather see this then hyped growth or any un natural price increase. Hopefully when the gemini exchange comes online it can bump up $100 solid.

I think Bitcoin's price is stable now and we will see rest of the year at 210-250$ range.I don't think price will drop any further.Actually price are in this range for month except two pumps which took them at around 300 $.No need to worry about price.

We can't go sideways for 4 more months straight. We'll definitely see some action this fall.

I seen boring times back in 2012 before the whole mt.gox situation. And it was several months, I guess it was a bit longer back then because bitcoin barely got any word of publicity.

we need to leave the whole xt drama behind us before the price can go up. at this point it can also dip below $200 again if a whale is looking to create panic.

All this stuff's still being made up as we go along. Even more boredom is very possible. Let's hope not all the same.

The price is already pretty decent, back to yearly average or so. It will go up, probably as diff goes up a bit. If by up you mean 1000$ then you're gonna have to wait a while i believe.

i think it can only grow, from now, it won't fall much farther, bottom has been reached numerous time, and 200 seems that bottom, i think i'll buy a few i'm sure we are in a right spot


you need to wait for the diatribe to end, about the fork, before begin to think about an increase
