I don't like assets where they aren't 100% sold to the public.

Keeping 10% is like a "golden parachute". Free money for people to dump if things take a turn downwards.



I would like to see the NXT raised in this "IPO" used for the purpose you intend to use the 10% premine on.


This looks good other than the 10% premine.

The intention is to support key NXT ecosystem projects buy offering them assets at discount. I won't hold the asset, it is a community asset, it will be sold out completely.
We have made several AE launches already, so this one is going to be a perfect one.

Profits and dividends information:
50% of the funds profits will be distributed as dividend, 30% is retained for reinvesting, up to 3% will be donated to NXT services. The rest will be the management fee (which also can be reinvested, if we think that it makes sense)

Also at least 5% of the future asset issues will be distributed as dividends, for most projects probably more. So the payout structure is mixed, asset holders receive NXT payouts as well as shares in the new projects.  I think this is the best scheme which could be used for a blockchain based fund.

Yes, the merchant platform is not unique, but this space is still very far from saturation. It connects nicely to coinomat.com, another porfolio project. The platform will be based on Coinomat API. Established projects in this area have a chance to become huge within next several years, when the altcoins acceptance grows.

DNS project is meant to bring domain names to other blockchains (starting from NXT crypto). It will support Namecoin as well, the first domains supported by the project will be .bit and .nxt. Then we will move to other crypto 2.0 platforms. In order to do it, dns server plug-ins with respective blockchain support will be coded.

If a user does not wish to install Namecoin or NXT he can register domains names using webinterface for a small fee.
Also a custom name server will be maintained, like google's 8.8.8.8.
You set it as your default name server and can open .bit domains in your browser.

Using coinomat API ? I like coinomat but i can't exchange large volume... Even for CoinoUSD, hard to withdraw large volume from it. How are you going to based a merchant platform with something that can't handle large volume ? ( When i said large volume... I don't even speak about more than 100$ for my case but less )

Pls explain what issues you had with Coinomat, maybe there was a cap on one transaction?

The max amount when i wanted to convert days ago my CoinoUSD to BTC-e Code was less than 20$, same for PM. But now the max amount for BTC-e Code is more than 300$ but it still less than 20$ for PM. Same thing for NXT to BTC, the min amount is 100 NXT, and the max is 109. It's extremely low for an exchange :/

Dividends will be processed weekly, on week-ends. Also new assets will be spawned from cryptofund account, their distribution could be taking place on other days too. Currently several assets are considered to be launched first, stay tuned.

ICO is over! If you didn't manage to participate there will be portfolio projects ICO's you still will be able to take part in.

First dividend after the ICO end:

0.01002 NXT and 0.0000242764 SuperBTCD per share distributed

On top of that, to celebrate the ICO end, 75000 IndexRev is distributed.  it makes the total value of distributed IndexRev to be 7.5% of the issue. No further IndexRev will be paid as dividend.

- After that, in two months, we're launching the first crypto pawnshop shylock.io. The development has already been started.

- Within two months timeframe a news site will be re-launched. It is an established second-tier cryptonews resource who we're going to help become top-tier :)

- Before the new year another project will be lauchned, most probably either morze.us or bitdomains.io

- After that cryptojoin.com launch is planned. This is a social network for cryptcommunity with a nice range of unique features.

Besides we're in talks with several other groups of developers, so some other projects may be announced too.

Yes! since with the supernet plugin you have to pay 1 NXT per transaction.

Current fund statistics:
8701153 NXT have been raised at ICO. Taking into account the assets swaps and assets deposited to Cryptofund before the fund's launch
current Net Asset Value (NAV) of the fund is 12596581 NXT. Net asset value of the fund is calculated as the total value of assets owned by the fund.

Assets issued from the funds account (IndexRev) for now are not included in this amount. So, as you can see, the fund's NAV is about 25% higher than the total value of issued shares at ICO.

Forklog.net is the new portfolio project of Cryptoasset.fund!
ForkLog  is a online journal covering various cryptocurrency and decentralized technology related topics.

It was started in August 2014 and has been under active development since.  A lot of exclusive content is posted, including interviews with top cryptocurrency experts and payment providers representatives (for example, interview with qiwi.com regarding their stance on digital currencies forklog.net/cryptotechnology-beyond-prohibition-an-interview-with-bitruble-project-managers/. NXT is mentioned in the article by the way :) )

Forklog is also active in cryptocurrency promotion, having translated in Russian Princeton lectures on Cryptocurrency. Forklog team has participated in preparation of "Bitcoin as a driver of fintech development in Ukraine" document for Ukrainian central bank.

Recently Forklog team has started working with cryptoasset.fund and has become an active participant in 1000assets.net campaign, aimed at raising awareness about NXT platform and the vast range of possibilities it provides. Blockchain reporting system for businesses.
Typical application: online shop launches an asset on AE and wants to provide transparency for its shareholders. Every sale gets written in NXT/BTC blockchain, when a buyer lands on checkout page a plugin, installed on it, writes Proof-of-Sale into blockchain.
Also if the shop has an affiliate program it can be used for affiliate sales tracking.
If a shop investor or affiliate has a suspicion that some part of profits is hidden he can simply make a test purchase and see if it's written into the blockchain.
Similar approach can be used for all online businesses which need transparency in their operation - charities, any voting sites (each vote is written into blockchain, you vote - can't see your vote - you know it's rigged) and so on.

Blockchain-based cashback/rewards program for shops.
This is very close to the above project. Basically a sale is written into the blockchain with customer-chosen token. When a customer makes a purchase at another shop, participating in the program, he automagically receives a discount. Nothing of the kind exist at the moment. But it obviously will in near future :) so let's be the first

Application of Instantdex/Supernet technology.
Considering creating an app which will highlight Supernet/InstantDex benefits. Most probably it's going to be a betting plugin for Chrome.
It will be the first fully decentralized betting application. BTCD stakers will vote on the correctness of the betting feed.
I think that NXT ecosystem needs some big revenue generating gambling project, paying out BTC profits in NXT, supporting the NXT price in this way.  That could be another direction we're willing to take.

New Cryptoasset portfolio project is Forkpay.net, browser plugin for paying Bitcoin bills in various altcoins. It is based on Coinomat API, and supports all the altcoins Coinomat supports. Forkpay will go beyond payment plugins, it will be a full scale merchant solution for payments in alts.
Forkpay team is in Lithuania. They will have a separate thread at NXT forum too.
Outline of further development looks like this:

- Firefox plug-ins
- Cash-back program for plug-in users
- Server-side plug-ins for merchants
-  "reverse" plugin solution, where merchants can get paid in fiat and receive crypto is being considered
-  Also paying credit card bills in crypto is being worked on.

Forkpay revenue model is based on transaction fees. 50% of the profits will be paid out to shareholders.
All projects in cryptoasset.fund portfolio will be using Forkpay for payments. Also it will be actively promoted by upcoming bitfirm.io project.
Forkpay.net is going to follow the standard start-up cycle. This asset issue is the seed stage investment, forkpay.net is going to approach venture funds for second round investment or buy-out in future. In this case asset holders will be able to make an exit or exchange the assets for the "real" equity. This is going to be an experiment with classical seed stage investment made on NXT platform.

ICO for forkpay.net asset will start on November, 24. It will be the traditional for cryptoasset fund reverse Dutch auction scheme, that is we reserve the right to increase the ICO price if the demand exceeds supply. If you want forkpay assets please place your bid in advance.

During several months of its existence cryptoasset fund has helped launch several projects, and provided seed-funding for several projects to be launched in early 2016.

We've helped forkpay.net team  launch their payments plugin, and develop new features. 2016 will be the year of Bitcoin and major Bitcoin acceptance, so forkpay team will be focused more on crypto-fiat merchant transactions, which is going to become a major business in the next year.

We've helped forklog.net have a successful crowdfunding campaign. Forklog is using the funds really effectively, they have already become a top-five crypto magazine globally.  A couple of days ago two of their articles have hit the main page of r/bitcoin Reddit at the same time!
 Advertisement revenue grows very quickly too. And the most important is they were successful in building an efficient online media infrastructure, and have an incredible growth potential in 2016, with the goal of becoming top-3 crypto-related magazine.

We've launched bitfirm.io, a collaborative crypto promotion project, aimed at unifying resources of all NXT ecosystem promoters, and offering their services to NXT community and beyond.  Bitfirm.io strives to become the go-to promotion company in crypto ecosystem, providing the full range of services, from content creation to social media marketing

We're funding the development of several innovative projects to be launched in early 2015:
nxtcrowdfund.io is an asset sell platform to be launched after the new year holidays. It will allow buying NXT assets for BTC and fiat.
shylock.io is the first cryptocurrency pawn shop/collateralized debt platform. It will be supported by major players in Bitcoin ecosystem.
We're funding the development of several "traditional" internet businesses, but with an innovative twist - for example we'll help launch an Internet telephony project, which will provide full transparency of its operations and sales to all investors, all accounting will be executed on blockchain, and thus it will be 100% transparent.
