Cryptoasset.fund is a venture fund investing in cryptocurrency related projects.
It will serve as an umbrella fund for all Coinomat projects, both current and future.

At launch it will hold the shares in the following projects:

т˜… Coinomat.com (approximately 10%)
т˜… MMNXT (approximately 10% of the outstanding shares)
т˜… EIX (approximately 10% of the outstanding shares)
т˜… MMBTCD (~15% of the outstanding shares)

It makes initial Net Asset Value of the fund to be in the range of ~ 3 mil NXT.
MMNXT shares are "sleeping", that is the dividend is not paid to them. They will be released when MMNXT price reaches 2 NXT. All the other assets pay dividend.

There are several projects to be started in the upcoming months, the list is being finalized, the first three projects to be launched are:

т˜… Morze.us, cryptomessenger for open communication channels, supporting value transfer in the form of custom vouchers. Based on Coinomat API
т˜… Crypto DNS project, website will be online soon, DNS server plugin and domain registration system on blockchain. The service will sell, register on Namecoin and NXT blockchains custom crypto domains (such as .bit and .nxt) and will provide DNS server to resolve them (like google's 8.8.8.

There will be 1 million asset issued. 90% of assets will be sold during IPO on NXT asset exchange, which starts on September 15. Most part of the remaining NXT will be offered to key NXT community services with a discount or donated. I do not intend to hold a significant stake in the issue.

IPO will be made in a light form of reverse dutch auction. Starting from September, 7 potential shareholders will be able to put their bid orders on Asset Exchange. If the total demand for the asset exceeds the total supply the asset will be sold at the minimum bid price which satisfies the demand. Otherwise the asset will be sold at initial price of 10 NXT. It should guarantee more even distribution of the asset. Cryptoasset.fund asset will launched and managed based on our previous AE experience, and we'll do our best to make a perfect Asset Exchange asset out of it.

Keeping 10% is like a "golden parachute". Free money for people to dump if things take a turn downwards.



I would like to see the NXT raised in this "IPO" used for the purpose you intend to use the 10% premine on.

The intention is to support key NXT ecosystem projects buy offering them assets at discount. I won't hold the asset, it is a community asset, it will be sold out completely.
We have made several AE launches already, so this one is going to be a perfect one.

Yes, the merchant platform is not unique, but this space is still very far from saturation. It connects nicely to coinomat.com, another porfolio project. The platform will be based on Coinomat API. Established projects in this area have a chance to become huge within next several years, when the altcoins acceptance grows.

DNS project is meant to bring domain names to other blockchains (starting from NXT crypto). It will support Namecoin as well, the first domains supported by the project will be .bit and .nxt. Then we will move to other crypto 2.0 platforms. In order to do it, dns server plug-ins with respective blockchain support will be coded.

If a user does not wish to install Namecoin or NXT he can register domains names using webinterface for a small fee.
Also a custom name server will be maintained, like google's 8.8.8.8.
You set it as your default name server and can open .bit domains in your browser.

How are you going to based a merchant platform with something that can't handle large volume ? ( When i said large volume... I don't even speak about more than 100$ for my case but less )

The max amount when i wanted to convert days ago my CoinoUSD to BTC-e Code was less than 20$, same for PM. But now the max amount for BTC-e Code is more than 300$ but it still less than 20$ for PM. Same thing for NXT to BTC, the min amount is 100 NXT, and the max is 109. It's extremely low for an exchange :/

The max amount when i wanted to convert days ago my CoinoUSD to BTC-e Code was less than 20$, same for PM. But now the max amount for BTC-e Code is more than 300$ but it still less than 20$ for PM. Same thing for NXT to BTC, the min amount is 100 NXT, and the max is 109. It's extremely low for an exchange :/

It is instant exchange, don't forget. It will be increased, but there will still be a cap on instant exchanges, due do obvious reasons
