We're hangin' up our boots, old man, and headin' to Brokeback Mountain after we attend the final concert." Title: Re: Black sabbath is to stop Post by: snowcrawl on September 05, 2015, 12:17:12 AM This idea of formally promising that it is the last tour was started by Mötley Crüe. It makes sense from a marketing standpoint because both these bands have had tours within the past couple years. One way to ensure ticket sales is to market this as the final tour, and to promise a major technical extravaganza that will try to outdo the previous tours. Ozzy with Sabbath hasn't been a steady feature of this band in the past few decades, so these recent tours have been an added bonus.
