Overview
This is not your usual ICO style coin. ICOCoin starts at a relatively high price so there is room to move down while still guaranteeing profits. Setting stake rate to 10,000% for the first 10,000 blocks makes sure that everyone who has initial coins will earn enough through staking to cover the drop in price. ICO funds will be used to stabilize the price after block 10,000 to protect everyone who has joined up, as well as give people a point of exit should they want to get rid of them when large stakes are complete. We have several users involved that will use personal funds to secure the price should the ICO funds not go far enough. Really, the reason for the ICO is to get interested people into the coin instead of those damn miners who don't want to do anything except dump to pay for electric bills. As you probably notice, we don't have a fancy OP picture that tries to trick you into buying with flashy graphics or bots that don't work. We give you the facts, do with them as you wish!

Non-Exchange-Run ICO Stage
The reasoning behind doing it this way instead of on an exchange are simple: many exchanges now have a bad reputation from running ICO's. We do not want to be grouped into that and therefore are running it on our own terms. If you do not agree with the method, do not participate. At the end of the ICO Stage, all BTC addresses will be posted to provide transparency on the amount that are in the wild. The ICO Stage is only open to Junior Members and above to prevent people from using new names to hide who is in. If you send me a PM and there are giant red letters warning me you are a new user, your message will be ignored.

Important Information
ICO Stage runs from now until Sunday @ 23:59 EST.
No Mining at all, totally POS.
2,500,000 Max Coins in ICO Stage.
ICO Price has dropped to .0.00001 BTC per ICO.
No minimum or maximum purchase size.
Users who purchase Saturday September 12th will receive 20% extra ICO for free.
Users who purchase Sunday September 13th will receive 10% extra ICO for free.

Coins will all be sent on Monday morning in one chunk, bonuses included, to give everyone a fair start.

All other unsold coins will be burned through transaction fees, meaning they will not show up on network moneysupply.

Coin Information
First 10,000 Blocks at 10,000% yearly stake rate.
After block 10,000, normal stake rate is set to 250% yearly.
5 minute blocks will let initial buyers build up stake weight to earn even more coins during the bonus stake rate stage.
Coin control for advanced users who want to maximize staking returns.
View your inputs in a separate tab to see which are ready to stake and when.
24-hour maturity for staking coins, meaning 24 hours after you deposit/receive, they will try to stake if your wallet is open and unlocked for staking.
Incredibly low network transaction fees mean you won't be losing a ton of coins just for rearranging your inputs.
10 confirmations for newly minted coins means that very shortly after staking, the stake will stake staking!

Future of ICOCoin
If ICO does not get listed at any exchanges, part of the coins raised in ICO phase will go to buying markets on the most popular sites who offer this service. Development is not cheap, especially in crypto, and what we have is the best of the best. Silence is golden in coins, and we will not post details about any team members who do not want their information posted. I hope all of those involved will post that they are, but some might not, who knows. You will definitely have places to trade ICO and cash out if quick profits are your thing. How to Participate in ICO Stage

On Monday, September 14th, your coins will be sent + the bonus based on date of purchase (times honored are in EST). I don't expect nearly all of it to sell, which is why the cap of 5000 was put in place so development team doesn't hold too many. The unsold will be burned through transaction fees and actually destroyed. A short period with 10,000% stake rate will make you a lot more coins than you bought + 20% extra coins for joining today, +10% if you wait until tomorrow. Only this account is a newbie, nobody involved is new to coins

I'm not good with compiling at all , I am just learning linux the past few weeks . and soon as I can get a wallet I will get some to put in it . And then see how it goes .

Not true. Many compete to maintain price, this one will go down but your stake at 10,000% will easily overcome any price drop and the normal, attractive 250% stake rate will make sure it lasts a long time without getting crazy out of control

I don't think diluting the supply will increase demand.

The 10,000% is only for the first 10,000 blocks so all buyers in ICO stage get a comfortable cushion for the initial price drop. After settling at 250%, that is high enough to make people want to hold, but low enough to not inflate to the stars

Well I hope I get enough and see what happens . but I guess we will see if I get them in time monday before I goto work .

BTW , yes the instructions you sent for compiling the wallet worked , but I did have to skip this one step as it wouldn't work --> sudo make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP= ICOCoind , but the wallet is stalled on block 100 as stated in the first page . so I guess its wait and see how the few coins I got will do when staking .

And thanks for the instructions on building the wallet . Now I have some to keep for the future wallets . +1 Dev on the initiative to help me out .

You're welcome happy it worked! The line you took out is for the daemon anyway so if you only use the QT there is no need for it anyways

You're right, maybe I was a bit too high on the price. I'll drop it to 0.00001 BTC each so more coins are out there, I don't want to burn too many! All previous orders will get credited at this rate too! I will change the first post now and leave the 20% bonus open the entire time!!

In addition to the extension, I have had a few requests to extend the buying period until the end of Monday. So ICO stage will go through Monday, as well, but everyone who participates yesterday or today will receive their coins MONDAY MORNING. Anyone who purchases on Monday will receive their coins as they come, there will be no wait time, but you will be missing out on the first blocks at 10,000% so I very highly recommend getting in TODAY if you plan on it so you can get as many 10,000% blocks as possible!

Nice , so you got any ideal about what time you will start sending coins tomorrow ? I ask so that I can have my wallet ready and not miss staking , I have a monthly data cap with my ISP . Sucks comcast does .

Remember that maturity is 24 hours, so you won't see stakes until 24 hours after you receive the coins (in case you are limited with bandwith or anything)

I've been debating. If people want me to I will, otherwise I will just post the BTC addresses. As of right now, I won't be posting usernames unless it's requested. I know people like their "privacy"

That may give some people a sense of relief by doing that . I know I have sense it before in some other forums . I do think its a good ideal and have seen it before in other topic , Maybe you could take a quick vote on it to see the out come and go from that .

Yes, people like their privacy. On another note - they also like transparency. Also they like to know whom they are starting the game with... You did not hire an escrow, moreover did not provide any ICO BTC address, so it is impossible to know how many BTC were raised at the moment. As it stands at the moment, all the information is owned exclusively by you - only you know the names of investors, and only you know the amount raised up to now.

Any potential investor is supposed to step in with closed eyes - without knowing anything about the progress of the ICO, and without even an escrow to guarantee at least they will get any coins. And you know people do not like that - as a result I don't see many people interested in this thread...

If I'm not mistaken , each individual would have a unique BTC ICO address to send there funds of how much they wanted . I could be wrong in that statement , but thats the way I understood it .

Yes, exactly. And by that reason the ICO is not transparent - absolutely no way to see how much is collected. Not sure why it should have been made that way in the first place, instead of simple collection of funds in one BTC address.

Because then people could lie about what they sent by stealing transaction ID's and most people don't even know how to sign a message. If you want to know, So far three people have sent payment with about 20 addresses requested. So if you want to have a large percentage of a coin, this is it   ;D

Just so everyone knows, if less than 3 BTC is raised, I will be returning everyone's BTC instead of sending them ICOCoin. I don't want to screw anyone over in case there is no interest

Yeah, but you have a good trust rating which means you have some idea on what to do with wallets. Alot of people wouldn't be able to figure it out  :(  The addresses will be posted if we hit the goal though nothing is hidden at all

I will leave this open for 10 more hours. We have not yet hit the 3 BTC mark. If we don't hit at least 3 BTC in the next 10 hours, I will return all BTC

Well I'm only out .019 . But thats ok . It's the last time I flow into it . What did it for me was the dev helped me get the wallet compiled . Dev also sent me a PM asking for my BTC address and said he was going to refund my BTC since it didn't reach the minimum . So Fuck ICO from now on , if it can't be mined , I'm out . Don't care who is behind it .

I only recently tried a few ICO's -
Break - Bot - CoinAid
Bot got in for hype and got out - slight profit due to furious trading after and I didn't hold
Break Greg of Doom - Trust him to do his best for the coin
Coin Aid - Crunck Same as Greg

But these unknowns newbie accounts - too easy for them to do 5 at a time and run
At least with mining you are only out the electricity minus what you sell the coins for.

I hate to say it, but looks like this "dev" have indeed disappeared and stole people's money. Actually his behavior was very suspicious from the beginning - he was ready to change anything, just to get more money (decreasing the price/marketcap 10 times, which means he never even gave a thought about it!!  ;D). Several pretty lame sentences also suggest it is just a teen with some tech knowledge. Well, the tricky teen has made some money for school here, so his project almost worked out... :)
Did not invest here, as those lame replies and immature behavior put me off...

It takes 5 minutes to clone a coin. And then it takes 10 minutes to make a ANN. so whatever bitcoin the people sent him paid for 15 minutes of his time. Pure profit

As a community, we need to just not support any newbie accounts.
We might miss some opportunities but, it's not like htere won't be
another opportunity the next day. Always more options than BTC
 in my account.

Well Dev , You sent me a P.M asking for my address to send my BTC back since you didn't get the minimum 3 BTC for your project . I could have already put what I sent into another coin already . So if you would just please send my BTC back to the address provided I would appreciate it . Especially since all this trouble now and delays this coin will most likely not go very far from what I can see now . If you had just went ahead with it instead of delaying and not responding for so long it may have been different .
