I mined my first bitcoin in 2011 on a laptop. It took well over a month.

I'm earn few satoshi from faucet when I know bitcoin first time. As you can see , it require a week to get my payout.
But for now, you can earn BTC within a month if you have some skill that you can offer as your service ( like coding, designer,etc )

2-3 months, I guess... but I almost always use them on something.
these days I never had 1btc on my wallet, if that's what you're asking.

When I started signature campaign, I earn 0.16 BTC max per month for one month before Primedice was closed. I started earning around 0.25BTC per month several months after that. It took around 4-5months for me to earn at least one Bitcoin and I had to be fairly active. Faucets aren't the way to go since most of them have a time limit.

Mine did not take a terribly long time it was during GPU days.  So it was almost guaranteed 3 month ROI was amazing time for mining.

I just kept building machines slowly and adding more GPU's.    After the GPUs then moved into Asics.   

currently on my signature campaign, i can earn 1 BTC in less than 3 months (10 weeks to be exact because i earn 0.1 BTC a week) and this is on signature campaigns alone. but i earned my very first bitcoin in approximately 5-6 months from faucets , giveaways, sign up bonuses and a little bit of gambling. i am not aware of signature campaigns before so i can't earn that much

I used faucets for a little dust amount but by using faucets you can never ever reach a whole BTC. and by signature earnings , since I don't post a lot so I haven't reached 1 BTC from that either.
the only other way that I use which made me more than 1 BTC is trading. I have been trading altcoins for a while now and have gathered some bitcoin through that.

great list dude, is it your website? maybe you can update it because i can see some misleading description about some faucets, just like the first one on this which is fastbtc.net, in the site it says that the minimum claim is 7500 satoshis but in reality its only 500 satoshis per claim. anyway thanks for the list!

Faucets are completely waste of time instead start posting on this forum for signature campaign to earn more.

I too took initially around 4 to 5 months to earn my first bitcoin. Mostly by signature campaign and by selling some products

My first Bitcoin i have been earned through faucet, i realize faucet is waste my time, i stopped now and i also mining bitcoin with my PC in 2013, but yes, it's not profitable just make my PC overheat.

Same here, started with faucets, sold some steam stuff, invested with just dice and other casinos, lost some to gambling and speculation. Eventually dropped the time wasters like faucets and BTCJam. Took ~6 months for the balance to show > 1 BTC.

I used faucets to start earn bitcoin and now i leave faucet when i'm able to join signature campaign

I didn't wait to earn 1BTC from faucets or sig camp. .. After 6 months of my adventure with crypto i buy 2 BTC and i start trading :)

your answer dude is irrelevant to the discussion :D op is asking how long did it took you to earn your 1 btc not where do you start earning BTC. so how long dude? how many days, months, or years?

there where no signature back then, so the only option was mining, and bitcoin mining was still profitable with gpu

all i've did is earning one with my old 7950 in 2013, was a really fun experience, and i used a p2pool to do so

back in the days signature campaigns paid like 0.20 BTC, so it was very easy via sig campaigns.

however, I got my first bitcoin through trading on bitmit (RIP) by selling digital goods. ~2 months

since the difficulty was already high when i started with bitcoin sadly i could never try mining it. also since i don't have a very good PC hardware and also don't like mining altcoins i have never tried that either.
so my earnings are 0.001% from my early days of faucet usage and the rest is from signature campaing which i think it took me around 9 month to get to 1BTC from these methods alone.

i nearly reached my first 1 bitcoin earned through signature campaign milestone. by the time i reached 1 bitcoin, it took me 30 weeks in total.

i earn by first bitcoin in 5 month by mining trding and investing i invest my bitcoin on many site and earn huge profit i also give my bitcoin to some trusted traders who return me with good profit now i am plan to invest bitcoin on some revenue share site that are much profitable

It was enough and very impressive to earn something that i didn't know what is before but it worth much.
Unfortunately this first bitcoin is being held by exchange as it was hacked and i except to be get back time by time until i reach 100%.

I have earned it fairly quickly by trading NXT in the beginning of 2014 when the volatility was great not just in NXT, but in the all all coins. It took me about 3 weeks. Of course, I have made an initial investment of 1 BTC and I paid it a lot, since Bitcoin was much higher at the time! :)

It was easy to make money by trading back then. Hype was everywhere, Bitcoin at the all time high. Nowadays everything has slowed down, even signature campaigns.

I earned my first 10BTC from Gavin's faucet just for 2 clicks. Lol, joke, I wasn't around Bitcoin world when that faucet was active.
I earned from mining in mining.bitcoin.cz but it wasn't significant amount, I can say that I got a lot of Bitcoin from altcoin trading. Those were crazy times, when investing an altcoin make sense. Now all altcoins create nothing but BS.

since i started in bitcoin, i think i earned my first 1btc from signature campaign and gambling, i used to earned atleast .1btc/day from gambling :)

The first time I get bitcoin from the faucet, I took one week and only get 5000 satoshi hahaha ;D

i dont have one bitcoin right now but if i would sume all the bitcoins i have received over time i think i would have over 1 bitcoin and to get to this milestone i didnt need a lot of time i think it took like 2 months or so

my first bitcoin come from my friend. when I was told by a friend about bitcoin, then my friend told me to make wallet in blockchain and he asked for my address and then he sent some satoshi ;D

It is really hard to earn 1BTC from giveaways neither from faucets, only if you were using them in the beginning of bitcoin (few years before).

Yes, from faucets it's impossible to get 1BTC in a year too. We may achieve 1BTC milestone in a period of 10 years. I do not have 1BTC yet. I believe from gambling I can make 1BTC in short time.

It took me 4 months just to earned 1BTC. I earned it thru referrals exchange back in the days.

Hi, as of now I cant join signature campaign but you can earn also to a faucet. I earn 300,000 satoshi in 3 days so in 6 days I can have 600,000 satoshi
but you need to sacrifice your whole time to claim lots of coins. And now this is my earnings in 8 days 0.00865369

That's the nice earning. 8 milli in just 8 days is the big achievement in my view. I started bitcoin when it was at the price of $800 to $900. So making one milli (0.001 BTC ) also too hard, could be achievable only per week time. Now bitcoin eaning made easy with help of this forum.

@OP if you mean since I started bitcoin, it was something like 5 months, but if you mean after I joined bitcointalk I made it in two months, so I joined bitcointalk 3 months after I got to know about bitcoin.

thank you sir, but it takes a lot of time, and its really hard to earn from the faucet you will spend lots of time to earn satoshi. And now I also have campaign I need to be a multitasker to earn more than 300,000 satoshi in 3 days faucet + campaign in 1 week maybe I can earn 0.008 btc in 1 week.

I earned my very first 1 BTC in just a month way back before I knew this forum. I earned it through faucets and referral bonuses from sites.that offers referral program. I forgot , investing on HYIPs also helped me reach 1 BTC that quick, at least for me

You are luck enough that you got paid from HYIP. But my investments into HYIP did not get my investment also.
I'm still chasing for the dream number of 1BTC. Hopefully I will make from here if I do not invest any more into any HYIP or ponzi schemes.

i was earned my first bitcoin from faucet yup the most popular faucet freebitco,in and moonbitcoin , i need at least 1 week to get my first payment from them, i remember it was a hard work to get my first bitcoin after that there was giveaway, stellar giveaway exactly, that was so cool and then i decide to leaving faucet but just keep spread my referral link and introduce bitcoin to the new member

I have bought my first bitcoin. So, it does not require much time to get my first bitcoin. But the price was around $900. I heard about bitcoin and I had funds in paypal, from a online friend I bought.

4 weeks, by mining and gambling with dogecoins. I traded those dogecoins when it was worth 134 satoshis/dogecoin (that was the time for the Jamaican bobsled team, I guess). After I sold my dogecoin holdings, I quit on mining with my laptop and just used it to run a bitcoin node. And as of now, with my current signature campaign, I can actually earn a whole bitcoin in just under 3 weeks, if I become active enough and just spend my whole day in this forum.

i got given one as a gift to start earning via trading with so i am practically just getting started to actually earn my own bitcoin

If we were in the beginning of bitcoin in its early stage,
Then we could easily earn 1BTC from faucets, as the reward in these faucets was very high.


Bitvisitor pays just to less, from what period of time are you talking about, because now they pay just few satoshi per visit.

I think it's safe to assume that earning 1 BTC from Bitvisitor is an achievement that must of taken place in the very early stages of Bitcoin.  For anyone who has used Bitvisitor within the past few years, earning 1 BTC in any amount of time is practically impossible.

If you visit the bitvisitor a million of times then maybe it can be possible.
But 1 BTC is to large comparing to few satoshis, there are not million of websites to visit.
Basically earning 1BTC can be done when a new alt coins and a pump is made in trading world.

need quite long time for it and perhaps it took me around 3-4 month to earn my first bitcoin

it is hard to say exactly how long it took me, because i started earning super slow with faucets and then signature campaign on and off so i can't say for sure.

but when i started to earn seriously with signature and trading, i think it took me nearly 1-2 months to make 1 bitcoin. ofcourse i bought some in the process and it always goes up and down but 1-2 months is the nearest estimate :)

It's actually possible but it will take you years( I guess) to visit that million of times but it's not that worth it in the end :D High paying faucets will be more profitable than just viewing with bitvisitors alone cuz you earn 1 btc in a year if you can earn ~0.003 btc a day( which I think is not that hard these days

It's not by earning as the thread title says. You got your first bitcoin by buying on it. But it can be classified to as earning if the money you bought came from your real life earnings.

if we really start from 0 it mean that we dont put any capital to earn, i would said take around 1 year

with investing and doing task like signature campaign or do mini task or using mining or you can do freelance job

if rely on faucet it will take very very long time

did not join or earn something from signature campaign yet, i traded bitcoin with USD before and took sometime to get 1 BTC profit, a 1 BTC was worth around $90 at that time though.

I took me more than a month to earn it from faucets and giveaways and BTC at that time was worth around $10 so it wasn't profitable as you would imagine now.

Around few months.
After that month I really earned my 1st bitcoin.

I used faucets to start earn bitcoin.

it took me around 3months i think before i earned total of 1btc and 1year before i hold 1whole coin :)

oh my friend your question is realy very serious . when i had join the bit coin with my daily life then i rhought that it is easy way to earn but when i had starts to work with it then i found that it is not as easy that i thought . since i had earne 0.001btc in three months through daily visiting of freebitco.in site that gives free bit coins per hours . that time i don't know about the bit coin talk.org  form . but now i have comes to know about it so i had started to work with bit coins . now i became jr. member soon i will earn some useful bitcoins .

Yeah. Faucets are not good for long term and you only earn 0.001 bitcoin in three months, it's damn small though. luckly you know this forum, and you can start earning from this forum.

It depends how active you are working. To the least if you work hard you can earn your first bitcoin within 3months. When you often take part in discussion automatically you grow, you will learn about how to earn. These days its even takes less time as the value has fallen.

For me it's takes around 1 month - 6 months to earn my first bitcoin. Because i always lose my bitcoin by gambling and never save bitcoin, so it takes long time to earn my first bitcoin.

To be honest, I just bought some at the exchange.
With Bitcoin it's the same as with Dollar:
If you have some you can make more of it. If you start with 0 it's much more difficult.
For example I have a Lending-Account at Poloniex where I store some BTC and receive decent interest payments.
But in addition there are still other ways even from the beginning like Signature-Campaigns for example.

I have earned my very first bitcoin I think a year ago and it took me only a month or less to achieve it. I didn't know signature campaigns and bitcointalk.org back then and my only source of earnings were faucets, giveaways, sign up bonuses and referral commissions. I was lucky back then and I remember winning 0.1 BTC on a giveaway twice :D

Am I reading it right? You earned your first bitcoin in just 1 week and its from signature campaign? :o I know you can only earn 0.035 BTC max with your current campaign. The faucet part is obviously a joke also :D Or maybe you've just misunderstood OP's question and just to clear, first bitcoin means 1 BTC ;)

To be very true my experience is different but pleasant as well since I was guided by a friend of mine who was already familiar with Bitcoin and with his guidance as well as experienced support helped me work fast and smooth and successfully earned points in very few time

It took maybe a year from the moment that i heard firstly about the bitcoin, going through faucets and then offering services.

That's too late man even my first earning was faucet only. when I started I didn't know about faucet also I simply Google it. Then I went with searched results. That was my earning in faucets. Its just about mbits only. but awesome experience on that in first time.

Hmm.  I don't think I've earned a whole bitcoin yet, though I do have more than one whole bitcoin.  I bought a lot of what I have.  I've been in the Yobit campaign since 12/6/15 which is about $75 or something like that, and I haven't spent any of what I earned.  Not bad for doing something I'd be doing anyway, eh?

well said, It takes time for earning a whole bitcoin. As I have got into signature campaign just getting a little earning which is growing and soon will earn a whole bitcoin. If its considered a part or little bitcoin then it took me a days time to earn it.

I'm fairly sure that it took around ~3months for me to completely earn my first bitcoin. I spent the first two months basically learning and acquiring all the knowledge about bitcoin. Then I stumbled upon Primedice and made an account. I played from the faucet everyday and luckily this guy had won big and was tipping 0.05 out as this sort of thanks for the community. So I won one of the trivias and earned 0.05btc. I gambled it and somehow (idk how) brought it to 1.07. I was so close to 1.10 and I got extremely greedy and just tried to earn that last 0.03 but lost most of it. I ended withdrawing back 0.05. This was the story about how I earned and lost my first bitcoin. ;)

I think it will take a while to earn 1 bitcoin. I would be quicker earning fiat and just buying bitcoin with my real life earnings.

with faucet you could earn your first bitcoin more fast than signature campaign but obviously the amount is very low and some people said claim faucet is wasting time

Srsly? You haven't got a whole bitcoin yet? It is strange to see a senior member on this forum still dreaming to get a whole bitcoin :-\ Just an advice, I think you must switch to another campaign to achieve your "dream", yobit campaign doesn't pay that much for senior members. Its not really a long way unless you will only depend on your current campaign earnings :D

when I am beginner, I really want to get bitcoin easy and free, and it is the faucet. although my every day work on dozens faucet but the results really small. so I find the best way as a signature campaign and leave the faucet.

in the 3 years,l earn only 0,2btc because l invest back in altcoins and always lose.

long enough, I usually spend my Bitcoin, so accumulate a whole Bitcoin is not exactly the easiest for me, even if I have already won much more than 1 BTC

For me 5 months ago im start earning it in any faucets that just instantly receive in your bitcoin wallet.
Im so happy in that time because you can receive it instantly than in paypal because you need to reach the minimum withdrawal before you can withdraw it in paypal...

Actually my first bitcoin from faucets, but i'm not count it. because the amount is very-very low and i'm not called it earn, so i use signature campaign for my first earn.

I used to mine BTC with s3's. Now I just use my signature campaign and get one BTC every 10 weeks roughly.

It took me a year to earn my first bitcoin. The reason was that I took time to join the signature campaigns here and I was not open to accepting bitcoins from users for tasks. I preferred PayPal the most and hence I accumulated more in my PP account rather than my bitcoin wallet. As time passed by and I started learning about bitcoins, I managed to make 1 BTC only from campaigns and now I trade them also to earn more. My second bTC was earned in less than 4 months.

There are many signature campaign in service section though. if you want less rules you can pick secondstrade but the rates is quite low. if you want high rates, there's must be have many rules. so just pick campaign that fit with yours.

It takes 2 months to made 1BTC.

Not long. In some pay per post campaigns you could easily earn a bitcoin each month. The price changes a lot so years ago it was much easier.

It takes 2 months to make my first coins from this forum. But back then signature campaigns pay a lot more, even Bitcoin price was higher. Right now signature campaigns give only few coins. If you want to make 1 Bitcoin you have to work for more time.

From faucets I have just reached 7 million Satoshis (in 2-3 months) . I have invested most of them on minutebtc.com and now I earn 7k satoshis without doing anything.
Also, I use bot script for freebitco.in and earn without losing ! (pm me if u want it)

agree, no one can earn 1 bitcoin from faucet, but if you have a million active referral you can earn within a week

It never happened for me. I have never tried buying bitcoins with such price hikes over the past years. It just took me a days time to earn my bitcoin but it took few months to earn a full or complete bitcoin through signature campaign.

I got in a day itself. My first bitcoin money is through faucets only.Its just few satoshis only but quite happy with that. Now getting from signature campaign.

I meant that I don't think you can make 1 BTC a month only with sign. campaigns. I mean if you can I personally would be quite interested to find out the method. If only for information purposes.
