this week was lucky and unlucky at the same time i gamble with 0.1 btc for sport bet and the profit was 0.05 btc i have won 0.1 btc but lost 0.05 :P i gamble with all profit in some game with great odds so it cause me a great lost :P

Hi, i gambled a little more than 1 Bitcoins. Winning and loosing some times. I think I lost half bitcoin. I'm not good in gambling.

This year is the most profitable ever for me in gambling, but all I earned is been spent for real life stuff i needed.

I've gambled not more than 0.2BTC, but wagered i don't know. And losses are more than my winnings. I gamble just for fun.

My total wagered is probably a few dozens of bitcoin across some dice sites, bookies and Bustabit. Overall speaking, I have made a small loss but I also have a lot of fun.

What is the difference between 'gambled' and 'wagered'?

The definitions google gives me:

    * gamble: verb. play games of chance for money; bet

    * wager: verb. more formal term for bet

My biggest loss was roulette around £900 in a live casino and I was pisssssssed.

My profit from gambling is pretty good once i was 10 BTC from a slot machine with no deposit promo offer and i am having profit from sports betting and my wagered amount over 30 BTC at the moment.

In bitcoin I gambled about 0.5. Got it up to about 1.2 then lost it all so I quit. Should have quit whilst I was ahead but didn't so lesson learned. I'm good at sports betting though and am up a few thousand in that but that's over a few years so gains over time.

My journey with sports betting is much profitable till now and i am up more than 3.18 btc till now and still going smoothly with this, on other gambling i have some profit but not impressive like sports betting.

I feel pathetic. I have appreciate your spirit of sports. But loosing is not the motto of gambling. Instead of spending more time in gambling, we must spend some time in learning the required skill to get some profit from gambling. I appreciate your fun loving nature. But when are there chances to have fun side by side you can make a little profit while gambling, why you are missing those. No one can learn gambling techniques with out burning his hand, but we can make a good fortune out of gambling just by developing good skill set specially suitable for you alone.

If you want to get higher profit, you have to bet higher amount of your money. You couldnt always depend on any freerolls by casino or hit the jackpot with small wagered amount. Like mr.fox said, he has wagered over 500BTC.
I have won much in sportsbook, and lost much too, but atleast I still get profit overall.

I would suggest to take it and be happy you are lucky enough to recover 75% of the loss.It is always better to quit at right moment.I have just losses in casino gambling so far.Sometimes win other times loose and reaches to from where it is started each time.

I have gambled more than 20 BTC on just-dice when BTC was over 1000 $. When I was down to 3 BTC, I came back up to minus half a Bitcoin, and instead of being happy with an almost break even, I decided to also gamble back this ridiculous .5 BTC and - lost it all in a iirc 25 losing streak on 50-77% winning chances.

Lesson learned: gambling losses back is stupid. And as I didn't manage to stay profitable, I stopped gambling since then.

If you have a fair amount of experience with sports you may make a profit but then you will put it on the others you mention.

It will no doubt stop at 0 like majority of the time.

I've gambled zero bitcoin. No way I'm going to risk my precious bitcoins but I think just investing in bitcoin is the biggest gamble. Who knows where it could go in the future. Maybe it will be worth tens of thousands or zero.

This is pretty much truth for me too. I am angry and sad that I am sometimes losing so much BTC.
But then - joy of winning is so great that that you can't stop. I am probably winning around 40% bets.
But I am usually a lowroller so I didn't lose much.

Yeah I remember back then when this guy trafficolaa just tried a new gambling site with a promotion in there, and surprisingly he won 10 btc from that, even the admin (or owner maybe) was shocked. Fortunately that jackpot money has been paid to him in 2 days, he was really lucky atm :D

I usually do this:

70% of my money in sportsbetting safe.
30% of my money in dice sites and slot machine, going for the jackpot.

I think I personally gambled more than 1 BTC since my day 1 on gambling. I also earned some profit but mostly I lost more than I earned. Can't say how much I win or lose but I have definitely more losses than wins. But still I am working to recover my losses, slowly but surely.

You can do it, just be optimistic. I have lost in the past too, but i`ve already recovered most of my losses and close to break even.

I feel very lucky, its all about the attitude and luck will smile on you.

The most I've won is around $400 and the most I've lost is around $100.

I've probably broke even throughout my gambling of BTC. I've won big, I've lost big, but all in all I've probably wagered a total of close to BTC8-BTC9

Gambled a lot with slots and blackjack. I think in total it must be around the BTC100. Especially with slots it goes very hard.

But deposited is around the BTC5 I think and I got in total a profit around the BTC2.

It depends if we class investing in alts which I would class as gambling but I will miss them out here.

Gambling on casino type games I am down probably about a Bitcoin up or down I don't really know in all my time as I really don't gamble all that often and when I do I don't gamble much. So I will never win big and I will never lose big.

But my amount is 1.2 btc, so almost the same loss. But, yeah never logged into PD after that. If anything I stay away from all gambling sites now, and I recovered my loss back to 1.2 btc again. Took awhile, but just taking it as a hard lesson.

I would class alt coins to be the same as gambling, since you dont know if it will reach in value or go to crap.

you can basically get a card and make stable money renting it out or doing other stuff with it..

you will not be satisfied you will definitely go back to gamble if you win and have that much money

Excluding the bets made using faucets, giveaways and no deposit bonuses, my total wagered is about 1.5 bitcoin and my profit is about 0.05.

I have gambled of about 1 BTC with personal and overall my stats stays at somewhat with 0.20BTC less than before started playing sports bets.I don't have idea whether it will be recovered or more in future as I keep playing still.

My wagered amount is more than 7 btc on different dice sites but overall i am in profit as i have won some amount from bounty which helped me to reduce my lose and get me in profit and now i am in profit of 0.16 btc.

It's normal for lose or win in gambling games, especially on a Dice game.

This is really bad advice. No one listen to him if you want to keep your money. I say take the loss and run away. Don't keep gambling to try to recover the losses.

Yes many people would do aggressive gambling to recover their previous losses. That's not a wise idea. When you go beyond your plans and not as per a determined way then recovering losses is not at all possible. 

I don't gambled too much but sometimes I bet mostly on cricket matches. I think for me sports betting is much profitable till now and i have earned more than 5 btc till now and still going smoothly with this, on other gambling i have some profit but not impressive like sports betting. I am following cricket from long time and have enough knowledge about cricket so I would prefer cricket betting.

You can do it again just keep in your mind that if your winning, stop, take a break and comeback again tomorrow. Just set a lower goal. If you have reach it stop and play again tomorrow with the same goal like the first one.

How long until you get 5 btc? In gambling people want to get fast money. If you bet on cricket doesnt mean you will earn much from there too, although most people said cricket is easier than other sportgames but I dont really understand how it works

5 BTC is quite big money, be careful to not depo money more than you can afford to lose.

Cricket is not much easy way to make money with betting it is as risky as other sports are, yesterday shit happened with India vs South Africa and hot favorite India  lost this match and many people out of money.

That is the possible way to earn back what you lose, you just need to keep on gambling but slowly this time not as fast as last one. I already recover some of my loss by keep on gambling but I still -1 btc. And I will keep going until I recover it

Overall I gambled with around 1,2 bitcoins in my whole gambling career with the bitcoin itself, I find it not much if I'm honest.

I dont think you really need to be jealous when you have big winning I think they also jealous with you on how are you suppose to get that much. So small bet and big bet have their own risk though and profit for sure. Just remember if you want to get huge win make sure your make a big bet and if you dont want to lose much just bet small. I dont think that is really wise to play on sportbetting, actually you really need to find a good odds which mean if you just bet with 1.5 or below odds you will be just disadvantage because once you lose you lose every bet meanwhile when you win you only get some. And sport betting will take some time but for dice you can earn easily and faster especially f you have some strategy to use

With bitcoin i dont know the exact number but i believe i had played with 0.10btc at max and got my pocket empty on the time,the most of those were some bonus promotion i guess were 100% on first deposit soo i spent 0,05btc.

For me as of now my total i've been gamble i think 0.02-0.04 and i think the total profit i made is 0.01 something.. Well your way of thinking is right and being greedy will not help you earn bitcoins and it could only cause you a lot and it will not cause anything good but if your not greedy it will lessen your loses and might end in profiting not that much but still you can profit a small amount.

Winning in gambling is like hoping rain in the summer season, i ever win up until 1 btc, but because of my impatient gambling method i end up losing 1.5 btc, so now i have slower method of gambling

i have decided not to keep track of all my winning and losing amounts. it is going to get out of hand at some point. instead i limit the amount i put in every week or month depending on how my earning was the past week. so i place like 0.01 and play around with that if i don't lose i come back and if i lose i go away and come back after a long time.

0.5 btc is not a small amount for me and i think its a big profit if your capital is 0.01 btc and you make 0.5.. Why don't you try to play it in other gambling website and make a other profit 0.5 can make 1 btc or 2 btc or more if you play it in other gambling site.. but be careful its risky. just spend only 0.1 is enough if you still lucky in that day..

I gambled around 3 bitcoin before, When bitcoin was worth around $100 though.

i lost around 0,02 bitcoin at first but then i won 0,07 bitcoin, so i won totally 0,05 bitcoin, i know lots of stories  that others loses around 5 bitcoins and wins almost nothing, but  if  they would bet small amounts of money then i am sure that everyone should win bitcoin, not lose

So find some other ways to recover your loses instead gambling. But you always gamble for fun, some times to check your luck. Many people lose more money, just to recover they small earlier loses.

Because it can be so you will only get the defeat and did not get the victory. Because I see the gambling sites like dice, it's using the system who do small bets he'll win and who is doing the big bet (successive) then they will lose. so if you do 1000 gaming BTC with a benefit 1 Btc/10btc (if won) then it's just tricking and silly stuff

Nope. The chance of recovering it is depends on yourselves not everyone or may be the site problems. If you have enough luck I think you can manage to recover it. Just like you said that we need to be patient to play and slowly recover back what we had loss before

Yeah it is true gambling is really dangerous but it has a good payout too so it is worth to try. And trying to recover what you loss is really possible thing to do unless you have much loss then it wont be helped so before you loss more make sure you recover some of it, minimal half of your total loss before you get out from gambling

Wow that is a ton of money, I wonder where people get all those BTC from to just put into gambling. I limit myself to 0.1 per month tops, never beyond that, and I barely gamble so it's like maybe less than 0.4 BTC put into gambling websites a year maximum. I start feeling a bit stupid when I put more money than that specially if im not being lucky, but when you are lucky it feels great.

But one thing is you choose wrong method to earn back your loss yes in gambling it is not possible to gain back our loss. in this run you may loose some more coins. you said that you earned 30-50 percent of your loss it is good sig but we don't know tomo what happen that loss percentage will increase means what you do so better try other way to earn back your loss.

I don't know how I gambled till today. Because I will play gambling where ever I get bored and free time. I just play this for fun. So if I have coins in my account, i will play or else nothing. I will use coins for my personal use also that is why I did not maintain this balance sheet. But I earned some coins I used it and also I lost some coins that I bought it with my real money.

I only bet with a few dollars at a time so I only win or lose a few dollars. That's one way I make sure I don't get too carried away with it. I try to keep it something I do for fun only.

I think it is just for past time only, gambling really doesn't gonna give you much benefits over it and I think in doing gambling not all gamblers can get the amount their desire from it and I think that gambling are for a rich people only and it is best to play gambling when you have lots of money.

Besides be a huge ammount to gamble you are one of the unic people able to profit from the most hard way to be at green status. I had losted this year something like 0,14btc just because bitshares i had bought it high and i let it open waiting a new pump as media were making it being top 3 trades , but well i learned and dumped, nowadays bts still down, at the other side i had sold some coins cheaper because i needed the coins todays its price its just 20x more, call it unlucky or boring situation.

yeah , feeling lucky is important in gambling . without it you would probably ended up a losing and losing. noone could explain how much their total amount gambled , all you can explain are most of the time you received a losing much more than a winning.

I think even if a person would feel that he is lucky it is not an assurance that he can definitely win every time he bets, feeling lucky is just a belief, especially a vague or irrational one that a person can apply every time he would notice it but the fact of these feeling isn't really the cause of you winning in every bet.

I wouldn't really call it a dream. At that time I was just making much money over the internet and thought I could boost it up with some gambling. Also, gambling was exciting to me since it's just like opening gifts as a kid on christmas or whatsoever. I was like 17 at that time, now I'm 19, not thaaaat much older but I think I grew and I don't feel the urge to gamble. I'd recommend everyone right now to stop gambling :P

I gamble a total of i think, 5 BTC. but in all the otal of earnings i have is 3 BTC. I learn to stop because of the feeling that i can lose it all if i don't stop. Well it may be big to you but it may not be with him. And sport betting is not something that you can master easily. I'm afraid to count my losses and after that my wins, final calculation would be negative, in that I'm sure. The conclusion that I get is most of you guys dont know or forgot how much your loss and in the end you still lose it so why bothering it though? As long as you can still manage your financial there is nothing to be afraid of if you keep on gambling although you are losing it. No matter how much you spend on gambling if you still can afford it so it will not be a problem though

I gamble a little every week, but I have a set amount that I gamble with and I don't go over that limit. Some weeks I win and some weeks I lose. I only do it for entertainment, not for profit.

im not that much on gambling but i lost almost 0.8 all in all just on dice and poker.

I've probably gambled a bunch of bitcoins by now honestly. After winning and losing what must be hundreds of bets, I'm sure it exceeds 10-20 bitcoins. I usually bet around .02-.03 per bet on sportsbooks, so that multiplied by hundreds of bets is surely quite a lot of bitcoins.

And every time that I am losing even for small amount only I am feeling sorry for myself that I am losing. But when I am winning then I am very happy.

3 to 4 bitcoins should be a good bankroll to gamble and also it is not a very less amount of many people. I don't think only with that kind of bankroll you can make profits for sure because in gambling once start losing any big bankrolls also not sufficient. So gamble carefully don't think you got a big bankroll.

Well not all the people are able to gamble with that amount regardless of the financial status of a person. But I know that they are more people that has able to gamble higher than amount. Especially those true addicted gamblers and making gambling as a source of income. My Chinese Uncle doesn't even care if he loses $20,000 bucks for one night.

I have limited my gambling but I use to spend $300 over the span of a weekend. So that works out to be roughly $100 per day and that is my limit. Anything over that is just plain spoiled if your spending that much too lose if you ask me. :-X

Even with good bankroll does not help you to profit in the long run. It will just end up losing more cause you have more cash/btc to dispense as compare to others. So if gambling should be just for leisure and not for profit.

Not All addicted to gambling stay addicted with it and not actually all are getting a hard time in escaping from the clutches  of gambling because there are addicted to it that can gain a will of tolerance in getting back his non addicted side but well there are some that are nearly sink to the bottom of their addiction and can not go back on their own free will cause their mind are already into gambling these type of person needs a help from their family and friends!

I have gambled mostly fiat money in real casinos playing poker or craps, but how much? That depends on your definition. For example in craps you can make a bet throw the dice 10 times without winning or losing, did I make 1 bet? Or Did I make 10 bets?

Good for you. It's pretty hard not to go for high bets on Casinos.. The biggest mistake might be having too much money at you though. When you loose, you panic and you don't even take the right decisions anymore.

But for your situation right now as i can say you are just some faucet abuser. Why? Thats the main disadvantages  when you have lots of money to gamble because  you could do whatever you want  on betting set-up you could adjust anytime   you want as same as you said when you suffer  big losses in your bank roll then you would surely panic and  cant decide anymore on what you gonna do.

Deciding your every bet when you come in a certain loses is really hard because your emotions would take over but if a person don't mind at all what he just lose I think he can surely handle any bet, and If a person is having fun over betting under the circumstance that he already lose a lot the fact that he or she is addicted it there!

You need to make sure that you really know that you are gambling your money. It is a matter of winning and losing but it is hard if you are going to hope winnings daily.

We made the same thing when we intend to play gambling, I do only bring enough money to use,nothing more because if you do bring lots of money, cc and stuff then it's sure you put that things into risk also especially when the feeling urges you to bet some more and it's really hard to control especially when you are in the middle of the game.

We gambling always expect for a big win again and again, moreover experience loses, that's why we come back looking for revenge and some profits. I do the same thing, sometimes big bet and small bet,  but just for fun never expect getting addicted.

Only a few people win in a day and lot of people will lose money every day in gambling, only casino houses make everyday profits. That is really a bigger lose from you, I think it was just your start in gambling you without getting any knowledge and experience in there started to invest bigger amount, as there are a lot of people who have spend a smaller amount and have won some bigger amount and that is because before talking the start they learned all about gambling.

Winning the jackpot will mean a lot for you. However, you will find out one thing sooner or later: to win the jackpot, you have to invest AT LEAST as much as you are going to win. If you will go for a $2k jackpot, you will have to bet over $2k and then you'll get it. It'll seem a big win, but it's just the amount you've lost so......... Basically, a waste of time.

It is sad your story. I never get something horrible like you, I always pray that don't get it. I am happy to do gambling, but I can control myself in gambling, so that I do something to minimize the bad thing (probably) and also I have a maximum limit for a bet and also play.

I think I gamble around 0.5 btc in total. The amount from my wallet is I think 0.3 btc is from my own wallet and the 0.2 btc is from my winnings and now I lost it all. If you assume that you  must  all bet the $100m amount just to get the jackpot on lottery, you dont have any guarantee that you would win that jackpot since the winning rate is just 0.00001% for me  in lottery chance and possible  you  would  spend all those money and didnt even win the jackpot. Last week I only had made 0.03bitcoin from dice and lose it. It is just a small amount compare to those who really gamble. I only gamble to know the experience. If you can bet a lot of money, make sure you will able to replace that money or you can afford to have that money back. If i will sum up all the Bitcoin i used when i was gambling i think it's around 3 Bitcoin - 4 Bitcoin . I started gambling using Bitcoin when Bitcoin is still around 300$-400$. My statistics on PrimeDice is also +2BTC but I gambled with deposited when I get started with this almost 3 years ago, at the time I was playing with martingale and had though it will be profitable for me when I was making some profit with gambling on it but after that I got busted there, my overall statics is above 19BTC in all kind of games.

It's alright if you are not into making money, you do not need to track your record as long as you are happy with what you are doing. Gambling should be played for fun and what matters here is the experience we are getting and that experience should be something that will fully entertain us.

Limiting yourself not to gamble is a good move and you will save that much amount your were gambling earlier. Gambling should be good if you can control yourself and gamble only vocationally with some fixed amount and should stop after some time whether you lose or win for that session otherwise you will lose lot of money in gambling.

Over various websites, I've gambled over 5+ BTC and lost a portion of it due that the lack of my senses and betting stupidly. Usually, the higher the amount you bet, I would assume the lower your profit goes as it usually means you spend a lot of time gambling and making more bets in which the house edge is favoured if so.

So it's your mistake, The gambling is not that much easy. If you invested some money means you should take time and think about your bet. Just betting with high amount will not make us rich.
