Title: Transparent Doubler: WTF happened thread
Post by: phishead on September 30, 2015, 12:50:38 AM
So the site is apparently renovating, but at the same time I saw this on blockchain.info:

https://blockchain.info/address/1DqSnsFKioLiGy36DE1xed7MaLAMBhYWCu

He took out the 2 bitcoin net profit from the site and placed it in another wallet.  Is there anyway to start tracking this?  The site has put in a FAQ, ToS, and TxID finder which is new and said that the new FAQ's and ToS's is coming up in the new up coming days.  Not to mention that the Transparent doubler thread is now locked.

So what's going on?

Already scammed. They deleted the chat from the site =/

But that wouldn't make sense, since they already put new renovations to the website just now... ???

Just for people think they are legit and deposit.
At least, I didn't lose anything.
My profit was 0.001 btc.

Yeah, I at least got back my investment... but I'm sure everyone else would want to know who put in a good chunk of bitcoin on here. Bitcoin.co.in is still online on here, it would be nice if he were to tell us exactly what is going on and tell us that it was a scam or something like that.

Yeah, but still... if they wanted to they could've gotten an even larger amount by keeping the site alive. More and more bigger investments were coming in a steady stream... so if they did want to scam, they did it very prematurely.

Whats the use of this thread? People knew it would end up a scam , and they have already been warned. You didn't have to create this to boost your signature post counts. Move on people.

Well, he could be just moving funds to use new wallet to throw hackers off the trail, or just blatantly stealing funds. But if he is renovating the site, and new features are showing up, I think the developer is still working so the site will come back.

I hope that is the case.

I just went to look at the sites Facebook page and it looks like it's not there anymore so that can't be a good thing either.

But maybe they moved the funds to set up another API? I'm not quite sure how those things work, but this might be the case...

I thought something like that but:
1 - The site thread is closed.
2 - He remove the chat from the site.
3 - He doesn't answer any email/pm.
4 - He made a giveaway to users who send 0.25~1 btc some hours before this happens. (very suspicious)

I really hope what you said is correct. But I'm afraid he just scammed everybody and the site is gone.
I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning. If nothing happens, we lose our btc. Atleast I had a profit of 0.001  :-\

@EDIT: He deleted the facebook page and the twitter account. It's gone.

The site isn't technically "dead" just yet... It's still functionable, because some poor unknowing soul just deposited ~.001 btc and it uploaded the txID... Lol we'll see how this all plays out, but things aren't looking good for the small group of investors, including me, that invested some Bitcoin on here.

If it uploaded the tx id to the site means the api is not facing any issues.

I think the main problem that they said was "going on" was the automatic payout system... But I'm not quite so sure because they also said the API needed to be fixed as well... It's hard to say, the only people that can tell us is either devsoft or doublebit.co.in ... assuming those aren't the same person.

So fast? And looks like honestdoubler v.2. also scammed no activity at all.
Still waiting for some great site, new owner who could run this game for at least month... Currently there are no such projects.

But I feel lucky that I did not invested in this site. Still waiting for some "legit" admin who is ready to run this game for long time, at least weeks or months not run away with 2BTC :/ Whats the point run away with 2BTC?
They spend money for domain, for hosting, for development, and they run away with 2BTC? I understood that they run away with 200BTC but not 2BTC lol...

P.S. maybe we need to make team here and make our own doubler who will be run by trusted members? Transparent without poor admin who run away with 2BTC but allow to play this game until its out of funds? I think if people see main wallet of program they can play this game safe and for long term, because lifetime depends only on players who play this game if admin is honest.

This is what we call cheap ass scammers. In many third world countries, 2btc is a lot i guess... but anyway, i personally feel its a waste of time.

I think the same so ADMINS, DEVELOPERS, if you see me, please dont be assholes and make some long running doubler to make fun for all of us and dont stole our money, just be as regular player and make money in the same way as we play, you have inside information so you can play until last second and double your investments few times without risk... JUST ALLOW US TO PLAY THIS GAME

Well firstly, there will never be a long term 'doubler'. It's simply unsustainable. 2ndly , why would the admin play his own game ? =. =

Long term I think month, its long term for such kind of doubler and you can multiple your bitcoins few times easy. And its not bad... Also everything depends on promotion, if they expand their advertisement campaigns outside of this forum then it could run much longer time... There are so many places as facebook huge auditory where they can get always new and new promoters who will bring fresh cash.

I was an inch away of depositing more. Just a tiny amount, but that would have been a mistake.
The thing that made it look even more sketchy was the chat being removed all of a sudden. Thought like either a) it's just me or b) he does this every time with his project. If the chat get's removed / no emails are answered or anything, that should be a warning sign to not deposit.

I am glad I got all my investments back + a nice profit. Was the first time playing such a game for me, so I got very lucky I guess. Made around 0.1 in total profit.

But yeah.

But honestly it looked like a fun game to play. Although it is bound to collapse some day, but I think pulling the trigger manually as an admin and running before it happens takes all the fun away.
Looks like it's just the way these kind of guys always do it. I mean even the players depositing were kinda careful with the BTC amounts to not brake the game.

Yes its fun, but its also profitable if admin is honest and allow their members to play this game for a month or more, so also everything depends on investors if admin is not asshole, investors will always do all their best to get new investors so its an guarantee that they will get profit from their own investments, so everyone who invest bring more and more investors and in that way system can grow huge, stable and run for long time, only in case if admin is not asshols and dont run away with just few BTC

AAAANNNNDDDD now he took away ~80% of the txID's ... game over everyone. Would say that it was fun, but it honestly wasn't.
