Title: CPU Mining? My GPU sucks. Post by: Arcavum on October 25, 2012, 07:14:08 PM I tried getting the guiminer but it says my GPU doesn't support openCL, so I have to use my CPU. I'm just using my old clunker so I'm scared to try. Is it recommended that I avoid mining in this case? I've been rather lost since I started trying out Bitcoins. I don't have a credit card or a bank so I can't get them the conventional way and due to the limited population supporting them, it's hard to find people who would pay me in bitcoins for any services I would offer. Most people that would pay for my services, would have no idea what bitcoins are. I kind of wish that more online jobs would offer bitcoins as a payment option. Title: Re: CPU Mining? My GPU sucks. If you don't know, use this tool (http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/GPU-Shark.shtml). Post by: SurReality89 on November 08, 2012, 05:14:34 PM no he's right i figured out there was a place that says "how it works" lol and yea i you take cash to somewhere like a bank or walmart/albertsons i guess for a moneygram, but money gram charges for the transfer. so its not really cash deposit.
