Post by: .XYZ on October 18, 2015, 02:27:20 PM
We are happy to announce our new gambling/dice platform: Bitroll.XYZ (https://bitroll.xyz/).

If you want to test us, you can deposit just a low amount of coins - they are credited after just one confirmation.

We have a automatic bet system for high rollers.

And the best: 0% house edge for a limited time!

We have bitcoins to withdraw for big winners just right now!

Seriously? The same dumb old coindice script? Don't tell me later when the mysterious hacker who always seems to attack these kinds of sites attacks and steals all your bankroll too.
And lastly, this belongs to gambling board(reported).

Yes, the same dumb old coindice script, but:
  • Bugs were fixed
  • We switched from old MySQL driver to PDO
  • We improved the deposit system (separation of addresses an deposits/transactions)
  • We have improved several other things
  • We will introduce a referral system within the next days

Uhuh, and how does that make you better than any of the existing dice sites?
Bigger bankroll? Nope
Extra features? Nope
Promotions? Nope
Unique idea? Nope
Trusted owner? Nope
Care to tell me again how is this even better from the dumb old moneypot dice sites that even without doing anything special fulfill nearly all of the listed "requirements".

This is not needed. If a gambling site is using moneypot API then the owner doesnt need to be trusted, that is the whole point of using moneypot. You dont even need to know who the owner is or his track record , you just need to trust moneypot because they handle your funds and keep it safe

Did you visit the site before comment? This is not a moneypot app, so that's why he said like that. As what mexxer said, it is just an old coindice script site.

For now, you can just play with your coins "for free" (with no fees). The system is provably fair.

We guarantee there are enough coins to cash out winnings. If sometimes there are not, we will make bitcoins from our cold wallet available.

i think he means if the site were using moneypot API being trusted wouldn't have been needed
which i think is not completely true, because i doubt if moneypot audits all the sites that are using their API, they are just a gambling wallet which make some things easier.

He quoted mexxer's post about trustworthiness, so he should not say about moneypot because this site is not using moneypot API. So it is out of topic IMO.

Coming back to my point of wallet, is there any proof of you guys even having a balance needed to sustain a dice site? If so, is there proof available?

I think moneypot does do that, i.e "audit" sites so that their reputation doesn't go down. AFAIK the site even has to "install" moneypot's provably fair system. And lastlt the list I had come up with compares this site with different from MP sites, with MP sites being in the advantage.

i can not find any way to see seeds or any provably fair section.
is there any way to check it?

p.s. it is funny how the high rollers section only shows winning rolls instead of both winning and losing rolls!

You can find it in the menu at the top under the point "FAIR?".

Yes, that was named wrong. I changed it.

You could at least redesigned the front end for the site this is the 10th site to use this script but the plus is the nice faucet. The rolls are too slow on this script and sadly it shows the age of the script.

Nah, MoneyPot doesn't audit sites at all. We try be an open system, so anyone can use our platform without permission.

However, a site can only have access to the money you explicitly credit it with, and can never rig rolls (they provably fair is done by MP itself). However, there's nothing stopping them just tipping away your balance. So a moneypot site can steal from you, but if they do, you'll know. =)

The faucet is outsourced: Bitearn.XYZ (https://bitearn.xyz/). We will think about that again, but that was only for testing the game.
You can test it with a bet of 0 also.

Quote
also where is it possible to change the seed

That is not possible yet, but you are right - that makes sense. I will implement that.

It is a bit hard to believe you have much more than 7 BTC but have chosen to use a free .xyz domain.

Is the first time in my life i see the dice game with faucet outsourced  ;D

why don't add faucet directly to the dice site, like all other similar site?

ps. the withdraw limit Min. value: 0.005 BTC  is too high, better 0,001 lire all other

Just deposited a little for shits n giggles. Why can't i bet under x2 multiplier ? Something like 1.1 1.2 etc ?

The .xyz domains were not free - at least not at namecheap. We choosed this because our domain names were available there.

7 Bitcoins are on maaany addresses ;) We have signed the biggest we have found right away:

Quote
Adress: 1NPQzTxQHpPiwoTTcTegL3cMGz27DTeopD
Message: This is a Bitroll.XYZ address.
Signature: IAl8Vs0zuHO6cznhRn9VPtUsKMsdYTUxPaJAYBn5M2ljMxWUkBjhsj7RJms7pi7oX4H26Y4zw7HK/Zq2lsMZcFA=

why don't add faucet directly to the dice site, like all other similar site?

The problem is, that there are users which play very risky with this amount. We had 0.092 BTC withdrawals today (and another 0.0978331 credit) just because of the faucet.

We think about to make the amount random or make a one time promotion for each bitcointalk user.

ps. the withdraw limit Min. value: 0.005 BTC  is too high, better 0,001 lire all other

I agree. We have changed it to 0.001 BTC.

Just deposited a little for shits n giggles. Why can't i bet under x2 multiplier ? Something like 1.1 1.2 etc ?

We have adjusted this. You can now choose any multiplier over 1.

No, I didn't deposit anything. ;D
If I received anything, I would have send them back anyway.

I just used a stupid bug to get some BTC. It actually allowed me to even pop up my balance to 100BTC (any amount). Thankfully withdrawals weren't instant or OP would have lost all the funds in the hot wallet by some stupid hackers.

The bug is fixed atm.

Aand I didn't understand a word you said there. Anyway I think you are jumping to conclusions already, they don't even have a cold wallet address proof of bankroll, or the hot wallet balance as well. And just starting a signature campaign doesn't mean anything until they actually do one payment. And you can see that hot wallet doesn't have 7btc as ndnhc didn't get his 0.9btc withdrawal yet, which as the hotwallet has bigger amount than that, should have been done instantly.

Seeing the last "High winning bets" I don't think ndnhc won it by betting , probably deposited and withdrawn without any betting just to check the bankroll.
@ndnhc, be careful before depositing any big amount on a new dice site which uses the coindice script, which nowadays is available more or less for free. Oh well I didn't know you were a bug "scientist" as well xD.

Yesterday, I couldn't bet in the first place. It always threw up an error that the bet amount is bigger than the max bet which is -0.025 (negative) or something.

That bug got fixed too.

the 0% house edge is nice for as long as it lasts. but it sucks if there is not faucet to work with, because I am not comfortable with depositing in an unknown website which has just started working.

Well according to moneypot it would be the same as depositing in an unknown site, the site can do anything with your funds once deposited.
I think moneypot does do that, i.e "audit" sites so that their reputation doesn't go down. AFAIK the site even has to "install" moneypot's provably fair system. And lastlt the list I had come up with compares this site with different from MP sites, with MP sites being in the advantage.

@OP Good to see your site , please add some extra feature and try to customize the theme , and i see you are running a signature campaign , people wont participate until you escrow some funds.
Find a escrow and fund him.

New theme (bootstrap) will come these days. Someone already joined the signature campaign. We will find an escrow.

I just used a stupid bug to get some BTC. It actually allowed me to even pop up my balance to 100BTC (any amount). Thankfully withdrawals weren't instant or OP would have lost all the funds in the hot wallet by some stupid hackers.

We had the problem yesterday, that the script for placing bets is very unperformant. To say it easy, at the beginning there is checked the balance and the current seeds are retrieved. At the end, the balance is deducted and the new seeds gets set. Between this two processes, there is enough time two make more than one request. Furthermore, the time limit between two bets was only client-side (nice programming...). You could have placed more than one bet with the same seed and get into negative balance...

We have just adjusted this script. It should not be possible now, because the processes described above are now delayed/double-checked on server side.

Because we have lost around .4 BTC yesterday, we have to confirm the withdrawals manually. Users can get unlocked for automatic withdrawals after some time. If everything runs smooth, we will switch back to automatic withdrawals. With switching to manually withdrawals, we have not realized that the withdrawal amount is only checked by the bitcoind API... So you can insert negative amounts and the script does not prevent this at his own... As some of you already said, the script is shitty in his basic programming (also function names in a language that I do not know...).

the 0% house edge is nice for as long as it lasts. but it sucks if there is not faucet to work with, because I am not comfortable with depositing in an unknown website which has just started working.

We want to reopen the faucet, but with some requirements to withdraw the won amount :)

I just did a test deposit and withdrawal to have a look into their hotwallet. Here's my transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/a389af51a325181ef78b08171b15064d6808564e67be95b2f76e1c111b170c60 , seems hot wallet is probably this https://blockchain.info/address/14uaevJESzmvCrk1uehsYFJwaUQkZH1SKi considerable amount for a hot wallet, if it actually is a hot wallet.

Nope, this is not an address of our service at all :) As I said before, there is no address for our hot wallet, the funds are just straggled over many addresses.

I have 0.0018 and i was trying to bet 1 satoshi, 10 satoshi, 100 satoshi etc and nothing works.
I guess somekind of a site bug.

Sorry for the bug, it just has been fixed.

if there's so much bug, maybe OP should do/make a bounty , just my suggestion, it'll help a lot for your site future , do you know that even primedice , popular gambling site on bitcoin world, ever got hacked?

We offer the following bug bounty program from now:

Small bugs (non-essential functions not working): Up to .05 BTC
Big bugs (essential functions not working): Up to .5 BTC
Vulnerabilities (gain balance): Up to 5 BTC

You are not eligible for the bug bounty program if you try to exploit the bug largely. The eligibility for the bug bounty and the amount is rated by us. We will explain all declines comprehensive, of course. If you really found a important bug and did not exploit it (request a withdraw of gained balance or something like this), you will get paid definitely.

The bet verification works fine for manual bets, but since you are not using a nonce in the provably fair algorithm, how can we verify our auto bets?

No, we have told all fixed bugs to this thread.

The bet verification works fine for manual bets, but since you are not using a nonce in the provably fair algorithm, how can we verify our auto bets?

The provably fair system gets improved in a few days. It is not as provably fair as it looks like. For example, if we have house edge of 1%, the bets between 49.50 and 50.50 are our house edge. We could now set a higher priority to this numbers - and no one really can prove it. Or, you can choose to bet over or under 50 - we can set a higher priority to default value and switch back to normal priority only in case you betted one time for other. As higher the multiplier is, as better are numbers as near as possible to 50.

We do not cheat like this, I just want to say, every betting site can do this. Using probability of win ranges or making house edge higher than it is.

Therefore, we have to improve the system asap.

BTW is the bounty program for (upcoming)bitspin as well?

Therefore, we will open a seperate thread. First, we will improve Bitroll.

If someone want to follow up with the new design process: click (https://bitroll.xyz/?theme=Bitroll) (switch back (https://bitroll.xyz/?theme=Standard))

Nice promo of 0% house edge.
I just knew about this gambling site when I visited signature campaign run by admin.
And just two days ago I registered bitcoinroll.xyz and today noticed btcroll.xyz is already a gambling site.
I already put the domain for auction at very low price here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=907646.0

But now removed because now I think it Worth's more than that

Seriously? The same dumb old coindice script? Don't tell me later when the mysterious hacker who always seems to attack these kinds of sites attacks and steals all your bankroll too.
And lastly, this belongs to gambling board(reported).
You also forgot to see the domain is ".xyz" . These domains are being offered for free by hostinger. Most probably these guys don't have enough money to even by a domain. And i am afraid their bankroll would be as low as a few millibits.
Stay away. Stay safe.

On other side they run signature campaign with good rate even though they get less attention, thats make a bit weird IMO. When they plan to run sign campaign, means that they have enough funds. Just curious, why they prefer to run sign campaign than buying a domain first.

They still haven't showed their proof of funds for the campaign neither do they have escrowed the amount, with only one participant that too who has made no posts since then, wouldn't consider that a "turning point" for the accusations. And yeah, they could have registered a .com domain for way less than they are (showing to be) spending on campaign.

No. I signed a message from an address with around .5 BTC, it is a part of our hot wallet.

I have more than one cold wallet - there are no amounts over 5 BTC on one. I do not want to get the private keys of these addresses. Then they are insecure and I have to generate all again - the private keys are protected with the same password.

Can't you even care to get the private keys of few of the addresses holding 5BTC? If you do this, I am sure people would feel more safe to play on your website. Its good for your business and if you are denying to sign a message with cold wallet addresses then surely there is something fishy about it.

No. I do not want to get something from these cold wallets before it is necessary. No player on our site can claim that he did not get any withdrawal.

That are not so many bets... Do not know what bets exactly you mean, but at the moment, someone bets: Player_754. I do not know who this is, of course, but if this is someone who writes here also, he can confirm that he won. There are not so many negative bets for now... Provably fair and 0% house edge does not mean that you win always ;)

EDIT: Just tried to figure out what bets where shown at 01:21:26 PM... There were also positive bets. Around 50%...

Exactly the point, a player can deposit his own btc in the site and wins some and while trying to withdraw say 2 btc, you run with the player's money never to be seen again, the player needs to first know that you have sufficient funds to not ruin your "reputation" for a few btcs. Although it doesn't suddenly make you the most trustful site, it does reduce any hesitation from player to deposit on your site.

Everyone can test the site with a low amount. We have enough coins to cash out nearly all wins. If we have not, we will buy it for fiat. Please see photo in attachment. There is enough money to cash you all out. And please note, there cannot be so huge wins without betting a high amount with a high multiplier.

I do not discuss that with you. I just said, the funds in bitcoins are there and I do not want to sign any message, because then the private key and also the password leaves the safe place. And I just said, that we will buy another coins if the coins does not suffice.

Do not understand your problem... You can see there 1,500 € (1,656 US dollar), this is a standard amount in my wallet. Also, you can see there a key for a car which is about 130k € worth. If you do not trust me, just do not play on my site. If I would sign a message, who says you that we will withdrawal the funds? That is the same thing with the fiat money. You have to trust us. If we say we have enough coins or we have enough fiat - or even both -, the thing is not to have it but to cash it out to winners. We cash it out. But this you can only judge if you try it.

All of the site you have listed are trustworthy site that have either given proof of bankroll through means like processing a very big withdrawal, verified by trusted members of the community(Primedice) , satoshibet has a considerably big hot wallet but I'm still not considering coinroyale a "legit" site after their fake wagered stats display of btc. From the above given examples OP has shown none, even though he has mentioned

Sorry, 2 BTC are a very ridicolous amount  ::) Do you really think I would destroy my work of weeks and my reputation for around 400 €? No, the time is worth much more.

And now please think about, how someone should win above 2 coins. For instance, he can do a big deposit. Why should he do this? He can make small deposits also. And if you bet with for example .1 coin, you do not use a multiplier of 20, because your money is gone in this case really fast, if you are not very lucky.

And if you bet with for example .1 coin, you do not use a multiplier of 20, because your money is gone in this case really fast, if you are not very lucky.
Will be my last post here on this thread.
You are overlooking the fact that someone can actually be lucky and win some btcs, I myself have made 2+ btc from a 0.18 deposit on a dice site which I successfully withdrawed, I used non-increment 2.5x "stratergy" of mine. A person recently has also made over 3 btc from faucet of 8k sats(which in the end got unpaid because owner of the site didn't allow big payouts from faucets).
At any rate most people will go for this option I guess:
Right..... but being a btc based dice site you should show proof of funds in terms of btc. Even I can make a photo with some of my salary earnings.

I think people should leave this topic . Also I dont think people stupid enough to play here and risk alot of their money when there is alot of other better dice site
Gonna do the same.
Edit:

LOL thats fortunejack not coinroyale.
An honest mistake from my side.
Also I have said that no one will bother to play in a coindice script site. All coindice script site will fail

True as well, and a I have said this is my last post on this thread(unless it has any scam accusation from a player)

That's one of the most unprofessional thing i've ever heard from someone. And yes, who knows you may destroy your reputation for 400euros, cause the script you are using is free(can get on github), the domain you are using is free. Seems like you don't have any money to put in your bankroll(until you show some proof) and if this is the case, then yes, you'd destroy your reputation for 400euros.

Read above , you dont need to keep saying he need to show proof of funds or his bankroll because he wont and you are wasting your time here. As long as there is no investment feature then it is fine so far. No one will play here anyway when there is alot more better dice site, a site with coindice script is just stupid

The coindice script is just the base script - many bugs are fixed and we will introduce a new design and new feautures shortly. The faucet can be used shortly by bitroll users with direct balance. We will never ever introduce a investment feauture, it is a gambling site.

You cannot just say that all coindice sites are shitty. I will improve the site and the script step-by-step.

Lets see what you can do to improve your site with this script. Anyway, you need to give a great promo if you want to attract players.

You are saying really nice things to win the confidence of all the users over here. But the thing that lacks is the availability of proof. We don't know if you have enough balance in your cold wallet or not. We don't know if you really have improved the coindice script, you can show us some proof by uploading your version of script on github(if the original owner of the script permits it) and also uploading the changelog along with your modified coindice script.
And do you know its actually immoral and unethical to use a script if you haven't purchased it from the rightful owner? Does jhonny know that you are using this script?
