In your honest opinion , what are the methods that each one of us can do to make bitcoin grow ??? (whatever was your definition for the word grow)

Such a short but difficult question to answer -

- Maybe tell close friends & relatives, maybe even colleagues about bitcoin.

- Give a few of them 0.01 bitcoin or something small to get them started.

- Buy a bitcoin t-shirt or baseball cap or something to wear at a major event (I have already done this :D)

For the average guy I think that is all you can do aside from maybe using bitcoin as a currency yourself, spend & replenish, help the community that way.

Buy it - Spend it - Buy again.

Spread the word, teach other people about it, help people start with bitcoin by telling them how to store/use it safely. If you shop at an online store which doesn't accepts Bitcoin, tell them how you would have preferred to pay with bitcoins if there was such an option.

And last but not the least..

i think it's not something that one man alone or a group can just do, it's something that will happen eventually if everything will work as intended, people will embrace it at some point

and everything was already done to encourage other to use bitcoin more, i can't really think of anything else, but if they see it only as a quick fiat buck, then it's pointless

We can help adoption by spreading the word as much as we can about Bitcoin. So if there is 1 million of us, crypto users. If each one of us would just get two new people into all of this,  we would have 3 times more users than there are now.

And honestly what is it to get only two of our friends, neighbors or co-workers interested in Bitcoin? This shouldn't be hard at all.

Use it to boost the economy somehow and try to spread the word as long and as broad as we can. I am trying to reach out several friends and family members and talk about them regarding bitcoin and so far, 3 people have been extensively reading about it, interested of what bitcoin could serve for them.

EDIT: Lastly, if we can, try to sell goods and/or services in exchange of bitcoins so that people will have broader options on where to spend their coins, too. :)

just use it, spread we word, run a full node. that is already pretty much IF you do this.

A best for growing bitcoin is using it. There are few shop where you can buy with it, but you can ask a shop if you can pay with bitcoins, its possible that they say no, but if some more people ask about it, they will look about what is bitcoin and will look about if they can use it.
Also teaching your friends about what is, and how works. Now with the mobile wallet apps its very easy for newbies to start in these world.

three things come to my mind that i have already done two of them.
1) spread the word about bitcoin and its benefits to the people around you. like your friends and family,... you can make a wallet for them and teach them how it works and even give them a little bitcoin to hook 'em up and get them started

2) if you have a business like an online shop, you should add bitcoin as a payment method. and start accepting bitcoin yourself first.

3) send out request to places like Amazon, Steam, ... and demand they add bitcoin as a payment method to their service, because you prefer it. if they receive more and more requests and see the enough people are interested in it they might actually add it.

Use it more in your everyday life.
Buy your groceries, clothes, food and entertainment with it.
The more it is circulated and used the more exposure of it's multiple ways of use will flourish.

In my view, instead of spending bitcoin like you stated, we must save bitcoin for future. So we must start business like groceries or cloths kind of business to get bitcoin profits to make bitcoin unavailable easily for all the people, which will lead to bigger price hike. This is best help we can do for bitcoin and it's community.

Yes gathering most of bitcoin will make not available for others like Satoshi is currently doing with his early bitcoins, would be the biggest way to help bitcoin to get it's good price. Only miners will be able to sell new bitcoins then we can see all the bitcoins hoarded to go moon height prices.

I buy bitcoin, hold and use. When I use bitcoin, it will improve the adoption of bitcoin. When I hold bitcoin, it will reduce the market supply of bitcoin.

Most friends I know are into it as an alternative earning method. Explaining friends who are unemployed, younger ones (students etc.) how to make some bitcoin and how to buy with them seems like a very good method to spread the word for me.

In my opinion, it would be something different from everything that others are offering at the moment, perhaps inventing something very unique and useful and somehow relate it to bitcoin so this way when people get lured towards whatever that has been invented uniquely, same time they get curious about bitcoin as well and makes them do some researches and this could help in someways to make bitcoin grow as it is

If a website uses it, then do that in stead of paypal.  BTC still has a negative rep, everyone I talk to about it seems to think only drug dealers and money launderers have it.  I try to explain that cash is actually much easier to use for crime (no blockchain!) but I don't always get through.  It is slowly becoming mainstream, and the main push will be when it is accepted by more retailers.  It is SO much cheaper and better than alternatives like paypal, that I really think it is only a matter of time.

What we can do is still minimal. We have to wait for mass adoption by more large businesses and corporations.

I think education is one of the most important things to start with. A lot people know Bitcoin as being a thing to invest in with potential high returns. But they don't know the real power of the technology and how it can benefit them when using Bitcoin.

just by using bitcoin and paying fees to miners we help keep the blockchain intact, other ways we help is by running a node or advertising coins to people to dont know about it yet

spread the word about bitcoin, but not in forced discussions
most important you know about it, you will tell many people through your life :)

i think we help the bitcoin the best, is by making people spend their coins more than they are doing now. the more we spend, the more merchants are willing to give bitcoin a chance.

its not about spending bitcoin, its about doing transactions with bitcoins. the merchants will see that bitcoin has a lot of capability if everyone is using bitcoin and doing day to day transactions with it.

As previously stated, this would quite do the trick yes:D Promote Bitcoin locally, by posting fliers, wearing shirts with the B logo on them and things like that:D Persuade local pizza place to start accepting them etc.

Talk to your friends about financial revolution, convert to Bitcoin as much as you can from your monthly salary and spend it online purchasing some goods that you need. That would be really enough if done massively.

Already said this on the similar topic, just gonna repeat myself here ;)

We as a community pitched in our money together on a trusted escrow, then with that money we will sponsor a famous people (celebrity, singer, band , youtuber , etc) to promote Bitcoin :)
Many people will hear what they say and maybe they can convince people on using Bitcoin
And with that we can make Bitcoin grow on the community side :)
This is easier because if we can't convince them we pay people to do that
Example : Trying to convince your sister to use Bitcoin VS Miley Cyrus Convincing trying your sister to use Bitcoin

This might be a little help to grow bitcoin.
1. raise the fee miner
2. tell your friend what it is that he is interested bitcoin
3. accept payment via bitcoin

Best way to help bitcoin is to spread awareness of it. Try to buy bitcoin, save bitcoin and to spend bitcoin.

Yes, spread word. Buy. Save. But do not spend right now. Save it for spend in future. The spent bitcoin on any merchant will go to the merchants and then come to exchange for selling. So, indirectly spending leads to price dump. Saving bitcoin is the biggest help to bitcoin.

spread to your family,introduce to your city,and make popular on your country. just that

This might sound controversial ....but I would say... give some of it away to other people... Why? It's simple... When you give someone say $20 worth of Bitcoin, they will want to

find ways to spend it, and when they figure it out, they will see the benefit. I am not saying... giving BTC to any stranger in the street.. Use ChangeTip and go out on platforms like

Reddit and other supported platforms and start tipping people who shows interest. The nice thing with ChangeTip is, if they do not claim the tip, you get refunded.  ;D

Adoption will increase, when people use the currency and see what the benefits are...  ;) .... Make it rain.

I think the better method to make bitcoin grow is just advertising it everywhere, talking about it, and using it in our trades as possible as we can
popularizing Bitcoin could be the best way to support this cryptocurrency

Spreading the word on bitcoin will pass the awareness of bitcoin more over we need new money flow into bitcoin environment systems to make it possible alternate to fiats. When small investment comes into bitcoin, there would be a price surge which is the most needed thing as of now for bitcoin.

aren't faucets built for that reason, they do quite a nice job in awarding random people that do not have any interest or are just approaching bitcoin

their delivering is also perfect in the sense that the amount is small and no one will dump it

Yes i am not against your idea, flowing more money into bitcoin and investing huge amounts into it is good way to support this cryptocurrency, but also i think it needs more advertising

I like your idea. $20 might be too much though, but $2 in bitcoins is a great idea. Faucets just give you very little. With some of them, you can't even send one transaction and not everybody like Web pages that are jumping all around with ads popping all over the places.

Changetip is a great idea. I think this thing is so cool that it could help bring many more users to us. We just need to think off the way of using it efficiently.

I talk bitcoin to my friends. I try to let them know about bitcoin, its benefit and usage. I do not encourage them to treat it as an investment.
