Title: Bitcoin ToS
Post by: TeslaUa on November 18, 2012, 09:23:37 PM
It is said (http://blog.bitinstant.com/blog/2012/11/16/what-the-wordpress-announcement-means-for-bitcoin.html) that Bitcoin has no Terms of Service. And indeed it does not.

May it benefit from having some?

Why wouldn't we sketch some simple and funny terms of service ourselves? In fact since there is no central authority I feel ourselves as good as Bitcoin Foundation for the job :D

Here I have started, anyone can edit and there is a mini-chat. Have fun. (https://docs.google.com/document/d/11GQL1Hfv_Fe_TMdjckMw39-Ys8dMaYGa2L752el7qPw/edit)

Absolutely not. The fact that Bitcoin does not have a Terms of Service (TOS) is one of its greatest strengths! In fact it is the only way to pay online without having to agree to some company's TOS. It is like using cash, silver or gold for in person transactions.

You right. What I propose is to reflect on that with totally voluntaristic in nature and mocking text that naturally flows out of design and styled as ToS.

Doesn't apply. Scammers are still able to use Bitcoin  ;D

I think the only one that's really possible is "The blockchain is not responsible for your own stupidity"
