I mean , i really want to invest in this , but the price is too much high, do they go down? In what month?

Do you think someone has a crystal ball? How could anyone know when it's going up or down? It's all based on speculation, it doesn't follow rules.

It was down for a long time, it gave everyone plenty of time to invest in it but the problem is when it is down people think it's dead or dying as you must have seen many threads during that time spreading fud about it. People who did invest in it that time, made a good profit but do remember some are still buying it because they think that it's going to go more up, maybe you should invest in it now while you still can.

It is only going to up except a few sideways.

I would say not now. The price grow from 330 to 350 yesterday. Wait for a few days before deciding. If it stay at 340 range, buy. If it go down, buy. If it go up ... wait again. I am not an expert but that is what normally people does.

Try to find an entry point Saturday once the merchants turn some of their Bitcoin into fiat.
After that you will need to figure out what a good sell price is but I think the market is favorable for investment in the short term if your looking for a dip to enter in.

I assume your intentions is, buying low and sell high so you should at least wait a few days before buying it although it might have a minimal effect if your just buying a little since I don't think the price would go down drastically after people dumping or rather converting their BTCitcoins after the current event in place, maybe only around $30 decrease at most so would only be good for those who buy in large quantities and little to no effect for those buying in small quantities in terms of future profits.

you just want it to go down just that you can invest? where were you all that time when it was down? or were you among the fellows saying that bitcoin has no future. then just know that the coin is not going down soon, just invest in it as it is and am confident that with time you shall get good returns

i believe this condition not will stable,just make sure that you always watch price graphics,and prepare for buy some bitcoin. dont too hurry,buy as little,and take profit slowly. it just said what i do.

One strategy is to not buy all at once, but instead to buy a little now, wait to see where it goes, buy some more. So on... You will not notice the movement so suddenly.

Here's my advice: if you want to invest in Bitcoin then you should do it when the price is around $320. This price is still possible to appear due to fluctuations for some time, but it will never be lower than that, and in a few months it will be around $500 and then you should wait for the price around $450 to invest.

Most likely scenario; The longer you are waiting, the higher the price will get. If you plan to invest for the short term, then I would wait and see what happens after black friday. If you want to hold your coins at least for a year, then you can safely buy right now, even when the price looks "high" for the time being.

The 300s is the new bottom.We are in that range since a few weeks now.The resistance around 310 was quite strong.

if i was you, i wouldn't worry much about the price at this point. each price right now is peanuts compared to what we realistically think bitcoin is worth. you can buy 50% now and wait it out. if the price goes down then you can use the other money you have left to buy bitcoin with.

I think that there is some correction and price drop will start after the new year if the situation will develop similarly as it was in previous years.

From my point of view, price will continue growing up, and the main reason that im thinking it is the halving, maybe in the next months we can go down a little bit but in general i really think that price will grow up maybe x2 at least... but ofc this is just a feeling ;)

Not soon enough, I'm not sure if it even will go back down to $200. If it does happen, I don't think it will be this year. You should try to invest into it right now rather than later. You will lose if the bitcoin goes up but you can lose as well if you don't buy now.

Don't wait but buy. The time goes on and don't go never back. The same thing do even bitcoin. If you will wait the month, the year, the day, or the hour in which bitcoin will be at the price wondered from you, you will have never bitcoin in your wallet. I think that next year the situation will be similar to the current one. Although the scenario is a black Swan not been canceled but still think the prices will fluctuate in a given corridor.

The time to invest is now, tomorrow and the day after. Buy 10% of the sum you wanted to invest worth of bitcoins today. Buy another 10% tomorrow. Buy another 10% the day after.

This is really an advice I would agree on without any doubt. The time to buy is NOW that's for sure, but to split the money you are buying with in such a manner as advised here is a good thing IMO.

This is a good strategy to follow. It is the right time as of now because we don't know what the future holds when it comes to this ever changing market. When the tally of the sales from today might increase the price. I think good news always does that to this currency while bad news seems to increase the value of the fiat currencies.

I was thinking of maybe selling some today in hope it drops after black Friday but ultimately it comes down to what you think it will happen. If you are of the belief that it will go into the thousands the $40 difference now won't matter. It will look like pennies in the end.

The price is very unpredictable. We can only trade with a small percentage of our coins. If we sell, the price rises, we will make a loss.

it depends on your definition of down. bitcoin has been around 310 couple days ago and today its at 360, so 310 is considered pretty low for me, maybe you shouldve bought at that price.

Yeah buying at 310 was comparatively good and low price but looking at present scenario I don't think that price would go that lower so I think you should wait until it reaches below 300 and then try to buy bitcoins in bulk and hold it till the price goes higher so that you can earn good profits.

I don't think bitcoin will now go even to 200 mark again as it is undervalued with the current price also. Bitcoin price should be around 1000 by now but hope it will reach that by upcoming halving.

Good luck of course but this will never happen IMO. We have a new bottom price for Bitcoin which is around $340 now.

If you want to invest in Bitcoin I really suggest you to start buying at least with a part of your money when the price is close to $340. Of course I can't guarantee that the price will drop to this new bottom soon or even ever. So maybe even to start buying at $350 is not a bad idea.

Going down we don't know, but this is also good that is increasing. Do some online jobs that pays bitcoin or other methods to get bitcoin if I was you.

Yes. Actually rumors are one of the biggest factor that can manipulate the price especailly if those rumors are somehow has strong basis.

Just wait the end of the Hong Kong workshop this weekend. If we would have bad news from there, I am sure we will drop down since the talks about block size debate will intensify again.

People are taking profits. And maybe that some merchants are converting their Bitcoins to fiat after Bitcoin black friday and cyber monday. I don't think it will go below $350 as we've seen the low of this week.

It has already been of falling down today, the price now is -$16 the difference since yesterday, not good for the start of December.

If it gets over $400 before jan 1st and I cant get all the coins I want I will be happy but also sad that I didnt get more at 300.

Learn to study some factors that affects the daily price. You can read some traders speculation too rather than asking that innocent question.

You must have slept over the last debate 3 months ago. This was all that we talked about for like 3 months and we even dropped under $200 few times because of all this uncertainty, especially when Gavin has launched his XT fork.

You don't have to buy whole 1 or 10 bitcoins. If you have limited budget you can buy bitcoin for 50, 100 or 200 dollars. And if I were you I would buy it now before next year's halving.

Although today it looked like that the price was going down. The lowest I remember was around 348 at Bitstamp.
But suddenly the baby decided to go up again.
We might see some declining this month (christmas vacations and stuff). But right now in the 300 range it's a good time to buy.We will not go down significantly.So if you have some affordable money, now it the time to invest.

No-one has any idea when Bitcoin will fall in price, and if you think it is going to drop below $250 USD you are most likely mistaken at this point. We have seen a price wall at $250 that kept Bitcoin afloat during the summer, and it is likely that the price wall will evaporate.

In the mean time I recommend that you look into ways of earning more money or you start working for Bitcoin online, so you'll at least have some.

Yeah, I'm hoping it goes back down to $300 too before the halving... but I personally don't see this happening, nor will it ever go sub $300 ever again.  I don't have a lot of extra spending money either unfortunately. If only you could pay your bills and stuff with bitcoin then I would be good to go to automatically convert my paychecks to bitcoin when I get them, but I don't think this will happen for some time.

Edit: What kind of things have you been selling on Ebay exactly?  I'm starting to try and find some stuff to sell, but not quite sure where to start looking.  I've never even tried to sell anything on Ebay, and would assume they use Paypal for payments... doesn't this take a large cut of what you receive in payments?

I do agree with Denker, the  price is pretty low now. I would say buy as much as you can afford as the price has been relatively stable over the last month. It is best to buy at the price it is now as i am sure it will go up within the next 6 months as more marketing is done to promote it and as more retailers start accepting it.

These are just natural market swings. Volume is quite higher at the moment and that's why we are seeing these quite bigger swings up and then down.

Well yeah, more companies will be interested in getting paid in as many ways as possible. We are likely heading into a economic downturn, so most companies will try to open themselves to as many markets as possible before the slip, so they can have a bit more money to float on.

Well a profit in either term is guaranteed, for all we know Bitcoin will hit $2/BTC and for one reason or another stay like that until Bitcoin fades into obscurity. Of course this won't actually happen, or a one-in-a-million chance if it does, and so that is just a hypothetical scenario.

There might be no profit for anyone at all in the future; this may be what Bitcoin plateaus at for the rest of it's lifespan, and it will never increase past $400 again.

At the same time though, it is far more likely that Bitcoin will go up than down. So why doesn't he put some of what he does have into Bitcoin now, and when the price -hopefully- increases, make money that way? $20 is almost 1/10 of a Bitcoin right now, so it's not a terrible investment.

The current situation makes it hard to predict what's to come.

On one hand we got the block halving coming so a price around the 400 is to be expected. But the current condition 330 <-->  380, back and forth is also not showing a real sign of where we are headed.

Current price is definitely good. Especially since not many people expected to see the price go and stay above $300. I wouldn't mind seeing the price at these levels for another few months. It allows me to buy each month a certain amount of Bitcoins :)

There's no definite point of what the price can considered as down now and right time to buy. Even the price will reached back to 280 and many will buy, theres no assurance that it can be back down again after they bought. So why wait for your so called price down? What is the right price for that? Rather than wait, learn to play the market and minimize your target as it will lead you to stuckup for long time waiting for the price decrease.

The price of bitcoin will be difficult that will go down around 250 dollars. I thin we will never see a bitcoin that is worth 200 dollars.

As of Im posting this, green colors invade the volume chart (bulls) , price now @ 363 just less than 3 minutes from 358.

Price is stable because of the fair volume given by bears and the bulls. It's just that this days, many bulls are optimistic and they don't just an normal optimistic that they want a price high. They are buying. Its so nice to see green colors invading the red ones when looking at the current volume.

You can't depend on people to make effective or actual analysis because a) bitcoin price is hardly predictable b)people would consider there own advantage like trolls telling people to buy or sell for them to make actual profit, you actually need to make your work, Anyway I think BTC price will increase in the coming time, I think it would hit 400$ before the new year if it keeps the pace it's joining through right now.

I would argue though, that because the gold market is more leveraged bitcoin would suffer less from a deflationary collapse. The paper gold market is huge.
One crisis isn't like the other. Maybe we're going to have a Greek/Cyprus like crisis, where governments orchestrate bail-ins. This is very bullish for bitcoin, but it will be hard to buy bitcoins when your bank account is frozen.

In short-term also, bitcoin prices has to raise because of the upcoming halving, which is also based on supply and demand theory. Overall I do believe there are no chances for bitcoin prices to go down. Bitcoin prices may seems getting declined but they are not permanent, one good example is last two months price raising.

If Internet is getting shut down, that will make bitcoin prices to go down. But I believe if the Internet goes down then we can not use bitcoin. Then there is no matter what price bitcoin has at the time. Internet is also a decentralized network, there are no chances it is getting shut down completely.

I think it is the other way around. The mining difficulty is affected by the bitcoin price. When the price is low, miners will shut down their miners, the difficulty will drop.

Yes, other than the daily trading fluctuations, we cannot expect big price fall for bitcoin prices nowadays. Because all the events and users supporting for bitcoin to go higher prices.
The recent stock market crash down around the globe also supports alternative investments like bitcoin prices to climb up.

Still I am looking for lower prices to buy around $400 levels. Because sometimes a bitcoin whale may find current price levels far enough for his hoarding to cash out. This kind of situations are very much rare. But keeping eye may help sometimes out of luck.

People tend to forget how unstable and volatile btc is. You say it can only go up? I say it can go anywhere between 50 and 5000 dollars at anytime. Some people have enough btc to just crash the price if they release them, and lots of companies have enough money to triple btc price if they decide to invest in. It's still incredibly unstable, that's why the price went from 325 to 450 in only a few days.

When there are more usage of bitcoin in the society, more people know about bitcoin, the price will rise. It cannot be pumped.

Mass adoption will not really be the one that can increase the price to a higher percentage because in most of the cases, people will use bitcoin and not for holding purposes.

But with mass adoption, demand will increase and more bitcoin related merchants will be opened.

I think Bitcoin is already quite a long time now. Many people buy it right now because it is low.
I think I can get back a lot of profit because I think it's going to be worth more later, but I see it.

The current price cannot be termed as low as bitcoins were $250 just 3 months back. If we take 6 months into consideration, the lowest can be $200-$220 as that was its price back then but now the price is still high at $385. Bitcoins can drop after halving or they may rise as well.

The Bitcoin price is now quite late. I think it's going to stay around this value and that later is going to be worth much.
But we have to see if that will happen.

There are no good arguments at the moment for such a move. Bears tried very hard, throwing many news (e.g., Mike's finally left Bitcoin for good, Cryptsy went out of the business), but that was not enough to even touch $350 at a good volume.

Now its time to rise and not to fall, bitcoin will not fall but it would continue to climb up at least for next 6 months, price is stable at a moment and it will be higher after the halving, its difficult to see bitcoin dropping.

The price has consolidated in the $380 range for a month. It is time for it to rise to $420 and consolidate there for a month.

Why wait for $350 just to buy. It will just take you to a missed earnings opportunity. You know how hard it is to go down below $370. The resistance are already there. Just buy when it dips. That's it.

My personal opinion about this is middle or end of August. Effects of halving are already visible to everyone, and effects will last minimum one month after its happen. We can expect then btc price to start falling and after fall to stabilize on some price. Where will be peak, where will it fall nobody knows, and we can just speculate about it.

I don`t know what you did until now, but you waited to much, and if btc is expensive for your wallet then try with some alt coin, like many of us here.
 

I don't disagree with your opinion, the price of bitcoin may fall before or after halving. it's like a minor accident in 2-3 days ago the price down to $700 after soaring approaching $800.

I got a feeling the time for the price to go down has come. We have seen it after the ETH fiasco, now the price did go up again, but the real high is over I think.

If ~780 is not clearly broken in the next days, then I predict the price will go down for a while, and maybe we will enter a distinct market phase after this steep uptrend. There may be even a classic double top forming at the 775-80 level. It would be confirmed if the price falls below 700 USD.

But bulls have a little chance too: On some exchanges the second top on ~780 was slightly above the first top (unfortunately, not in China). But even if they manage to drive the price upwards one "step" more, I don't believe this uptrend will hold for more than 1 or 2 weeks. Mid-term Sentiment is being damaged actually by the DAO hack.

Well, nobody really knows. However I think that we will see a huge spike in bitcoin price, then an adjustment in price directly after the halving. And we'd see more sustainable growth after that.

I'd doubt that the price crash will end before the end of this year. After bitcoin skyrocketed in 2013, it crashed for almost the entirety of 2014 before it got stable in 2015.

I don't think that this current bullishness is going to cease anytime soon. In fact, I expect it to continue strongly after the halving. After the halving bitcoin will go up a lot because miners will be holding onto their coins.

Till the halving we should 'clear' meaning no hard dumps or crashes, but after the halving the magic will happen. Either the price will go up more, or what I expect is the price will go down again.

Price is stable because of the fair volume given by bears and the bulls. It's just that this days, many bulls are optimistic and they don't just an normal optimistic that they want a price high. They are buying. Its so nice to see green colors invading the red ones when looking at the current volume.

Another reason could be that people's attention have moved to the Ethereum, there are more news about it now.
