Digital goods aren't that hard to get though , because you can buy them online from different website or from Bitcointalk itself so not biggy . When I can do that owning a single bitcoin will be an unrealizable dream for the majority of the population. It's still in the niche markets that bitcoin is usable, it hasn't gone mainstream until you can buy anything you want with it, wherever you want. I should love it as well to pay in the supermarket with bitcoin in stead of money like now. I don't have BTC enough to pay big amounts as furniture or so. The other thing is I shop at online shops for various things and everytime I pay, I tell them how I would have preferred to pay with BTC, just so they maybe add it one day.

Bitcoins still not so popular in india so to meet your requirement it may take quite long time. As of now we can buy most of the electronics items we can buy in europe and USA but still in it is not possible in Asia. As of now in asia only we can use bitcoins for trading and gambling.
