Title: If someone could give me a motorcycle
Post by: dank on November 22, 2012, 05:22:36 PM
I'll ride it across the ocean.  Preferably an R1, black would be best. :)

You guys have seen the video of the dirt bike riding over the pool, right?  I'm going to scale that up.

Weird, haven't put anything but water in my body.  I guess love does get you high.

Dank, your post are getting weirder and weirder.

I honestly start to worry for you. You have actually nothing to do, do you?

So I have a proposal, why don't you try to get out of where you are for a while?

Spend 6 month in Europe for example, do some jobbing here to get the money you need, maybe bar keeping.

Getting out of your usually environment for a while would do you good and that's something that look good in your curriculum vitae, too (In case you plan to actually do something in a view years)

- Expecting strange reply about local spirits or something.

Life is getting weirder and weirder.  Today you're eating a turkey, tomorrow the world turns to hell because a guy said so online.  The next day, you figure out you are a conscious creator, master of puppets.  You choose to feel love or division.

That's part of evolution, otherwise, you'll be trapped behind your wall until you walk through it.

This is actually funny, because the image I have of you, is a regular stoner, who actually stays behind his door all day and next to never walks through it.

No offence.

And that is because you create that perception in your mind.  Bout to walk out the door now.

Motocross bikes are way different than street bikes.. Street bike is sooo heavy in comparison.

I think the wanker smiley should be added to the board's stock smileys - it would get a lot of use.

I wouldn't bank on that hookah assumption. Image a sail on the bike in front of several bass woofers...

I need a bike to ride to Cali, I've got to set some things up for this music festival.  After I meet some people and things are in place, I'll take it full speed into the ocean, if granted by the owner, why not?  I'll keep it afloat. :)

Just need to ride cross country with my guitar, so I can find the right artists/musicians.

A R1 would be quite uncomfortable for riding long distances, and you'll end up going slower than a car on average since you'll have to stop for gas and rest much more often.

If we could get up enough speed, the bike could attain enough velocity and altitude to make it all the way across the ocean.

Obviously it would need to be a stratospheric shot with initial velocity approaching mach 10. Challenges:

1. fireball-scale air friction
2. high-altitude breathing and pressure suit
3. launch acceleration impact on rider
4. guidance system
5. landing

Could we do it with 1,000,000 bitcoin budget?

Dank is nuts. One minute he doesn't need food or anything. Next minute he needs someone to give him a motorcycle so he can ride to California for his music festival. Next he needs to sell a Watch to pay for food.

You're either really stupid. Or really really stupid.. Pick one.

Let's not worry about things like bike licences and insurance, because there's obviously no chance whatsoever that dank would be picked up for any motor vehicle offence much less have an accident.

Why don't you take some of the cash you're getting from selling off the swag from daddy and buy a plane ticket? Much faster than 150.

What's the speed limit for 18 year old bike riders in the various states through which dank would need to pass going from the east coast to the west coast?

I have a car, I would like to have a bike as it would make this trip so much quicker and affordable.  This music festival is going to happen, bike or car.  I know who I need to meet, everything will fall into place.  A bike would save me some time, is all.  And be totally awesome.  Remember, karma is real, especially if I chose to enact it after things fall into motion.  I'm getting rid of most of my possessions, so I can't say for sure what I'd be able to give back, until I see my possessions down the road, including awesome guitar skill.  An R1 would help me become a better guitarist by saving time and killing fear, better music for you.

Isn't there a bank on here based on Karma? I bet they would buy you that bike.

Alternatively, you could sell your car, and buy yourself a bike.

Remember, karma is cause and effect, and you will see this 'enacted' as your bike falls into the ocean.

How do you think you're going to produce a music festival.

Your Logitech surround system plugged in to your ZUNE doesn't count as a festival

This music festival is going to happen, bike or car.

Since this festival is going to be metaphoric, within yourself, why do you even need transportation?

As most everything I say, the wave was metaphoric, within myself.

Then maybe you need a plan B for going to see them rather than sitting around hoping someone will entrust you with their (very specific model of)  bike.  You have just over 3 weeks in which to make this event happen - you need to be seeing these people yesterday.

This is so sad.

We have these crazy Bayfest concerts every year. They're pretty big for a small city.. People come from all over Michigan and Ontario to see these bands.

http://www.sarniabayfest.com/

The people that produce these concerts have everything decided almost 2 years in advance.
