We have reached an agreement with bitmain to order a large batch of new s7 miner(4.73T, 1300w) at the price of 1150$ each unit. if customer want to join this plan, you need pay 20% deposit (230$) before 20th Dec 2015. This batch of miner will be online on 27th Jan 2016. if there is any delay we will compensate mining earning according to 100% pps.

The daily host fee for this S7 is 0.1*24*1.3= 3.12$ each miner.

The following is the brief description of this offer

Miner Type: bitmain S7
Hashrate: 4.73T
Power consumption: 1300 watt
Price :1150$
Daily Host fee:3.12$  
Online time: 27th Jan 2016
Payment method: 20% deposit(230$) before 20th Dec 2015 and 80% balance due(920$) and psu fee(100$ 1300w golden PSU) before 18th Jan 2016.

Li - you've mentioned a few times that you may be able to get hosting costs down - any progress on that front?

Edit: Or maybe make the PSU a part of the hosting fee? In that case you would own the PSU, which makes more sense because they're not very cost-effective to ship outside of China, but would retain their resale value for you.

Sorry, the stability of the farm who offer cheap price canot meet my requirement, they can only promise 90% uptime, which is unacceptable. so no plan to down the host fee now.
As for psu, it is a big money even for me, canot offer it for free, will sell it together with miner on two-hand market and refund the money to customer as usual.

what if i wanted the miner in hand and not hosted?

I ordered three on the 4th December via the online system but its not showing as paid.

Where did you get this date? All I see is paying the deposit by 20th Dec. 

I had the same question/thought on price, but it seems to be $1150 total which is pretty good right now.

USD price dropped significantly aswell, they changed the S7 price to a fixed amount of 3.1BTC but it is still much less then it was before :)

true.  although i dont follow the 2nd part. yesterday 4 btc = 1708 (average). today 3.1 btc = 1339 (average). now bitcoin can go up or down, and then they may or may not adjust the price per unit. but yesterday to today 25%(ish). ask the guy that bought one yesterday how much the price dropped.

I asked you one question regrading extending deadline from 10th of Dec to 20th. I ordered S7 before 10th knowing the price of BTC going high and if i did not buy now i will miss on it. From 10th to 13 th price gone from $412 to $450 . It is not good for whoever bought before 10th deadline

I agree that i am not sure why Li cant buy S7 if people are ready to pay now ? In 1.5 months difficulty will go up and halving will  make longer to recover money

Yes very hard to understand because of BTC difficulties going up and i am sure you will recover more money in 1.5 month by minning rather than waiting for next month

On Antpool site it not showing any power ..according to Antpool nothing is coming to their end.

I want to change my hashpower to new pool as i do not want to loose BTC . I put the request and send email to you.

I am chasing Lee and his team from this morning to change my config as Lee site shows all OK but on ant mining pool nothing (Changes made last night) . I submitted new changes and still nothing changed. This is one point is very frustrating that you do not when you will get response.Send few emails still no reply. I lost my 24 hrs of mining of two miner.

There is not argument that Lee is very honest guy  but he and his team are not efficient when it come to response (At least that is what my experience says). It could be down to TIME ZONE issue as when Europe start working in China people finish the work.

Lee should provide us remote access to machine change the pool name which could make life easier.

Were you able to get a hold of Lee or his team to change your miner config file? I paid deposit for one but having a second thought by seeing people having hard time to contact the host.

Yes i did got the hold of Lee and changes made but i lost 1 day of power for nothing. So it is difficult to get the hold of Lee or his team when needed ad that is the only
draw back else Lee is very honest person so far.

As i said Lee should appoint 24*7 support when people needed.

this will not happen anymore as he was hacked last year when he allowed this and it simply is not worth doing.

Just think if you can sign into a miner on an ip say  192.168.x.yyy  with a password you pick.  I can sign into my miner at  192.168.x.yyx  with a password I pick.

By careful testing I can determine many mining ip's.  I can check and test passwords then play the long game until I get 1500 or 2000th worth.

 switch them all to a blank new btc addy and mine them all at a solo pool  if I hit the block auto drops to my btc addy and I steal from everyone with no one able to catch me.

Thus  no remote access.

sorry about the delay of the completing of mining change request, i will ask my employee to check the request list every morning when they start to work and check again every afternoon when they ready to go back home. so basically, the request can be done within 12 hours the most

Dude I'm pretty sure you are going to not like this and should probably get a refund. This is the way he works and we accept it, if you can't you really should get your coin back.

Lee is one of the honest guy but Lee respond to email  during Chinese time while most of the customer are from Europe or US.He must think on this line to have support during Europe and US time which will make life easy for his customer.

If you read this thread or the previous one - this is normal for Lee.  Communication comes and goes.  It is also during his timeframes.

He'll get back to you (PM him - dont post in the thread - he'll get back to that sooner).

Patience is key and mentioned prior - you have to understand thats how it is (and has always been).  If this isn't comfortable for you - then this isn't the thread to be in.

And again - do not post in the thread and hope he gets back to you.  He might not check in to the thread but only checks PMs on occasion.  Use PMs.

I have 1 s-7 here I point it at f2pool and it is pretty much perfect.

Now I know some say don't mine at Chinese pools I do.

I also mine at solo.ckpool.

Here is a simple suggestion point your miners in China at f2pool

point your miners not in China at kano.is or solo.ckpool

If you don't want to mine the miners in China at Chinese pools sell them off.


My usa pools are small and get 20th a day

My Chinese pools are large and get 7th a day.

@philipma1957 - As you said some one said "don't mine at Chinese pools I do." in same way i mine on Kano so your suggestion to sell miners have no value.

Now to original story

At 10 am UK time i found suddenly on kano pool stop accepting power. Lee's website (Monitoring) shows all OK.

Send email to Lee. Lee replied saying it may be connectivity issue.

At 1:00 pm i put comment is anything wrong on Kano pool on this post as well send PM to Kano as Kano pool was doing OK.

Now here is the following explanation from Kano which could be apply to any pool regardless where you mining.

"There is a major security issue with ALL bitmain miners. They have default usernames/passwords for all access and also the cgminer API is set wide open to anyone with network access to change anything.

If your miner is behind a standard home network router, that usually solves the security problem.
However, many home network routers have ways for people to hack into them and get through to your home network.
Wifi is also far for being very secure.

I've already had another user report such a problem so I would put it on advisement to all miners on the pool (or any other pool) who have Bitmain miners, to ensure the passwords on them are not default and also to modify the API allow access to NOT be W:0/0

The previous user found his miners pointing to an address at Eligius.
Eligius has a policy of no help (and no blocking any miners) unless you have a court order so you really need to be vigilant about this"


So Please check if there is any Gap where power not send to your pool (Does not apply to @mxnsch  as possibly he must be reading this thorugh another id :) )

I send email to Lee in morning but according to him there was no issue reported from data center. I once again put down to Kano site might be not getting hashpower.

I checked the site and then it shows it was offline. It come back again but S7 performance is well below.

Bitmains Batch 9 price reduced another $100, and there is no priority benefit to the original $1150 price. Do you plan on reducing the price?

Good question because I need to pay the remaining owed balance on my S7 but it doesn't leave me very confident if we can't even access the website for anything.  Who is to say this problem doesn't continue to linger?

Me, too. I don't have a good feeling to pay 2k with such long lasting problems. I even offered help and free advice with the problem since this is part of my day job. Hopefully pcfli and his team can resolve this rather soonish.

Still on my pool which is f2pool  .  I am getting  a   Coins Per Day    rate  of 0.00464763 BTC / Thash/s

so 4.66 x that is 0.021658 btc a day... since you get power free the rate is exactly that.

and as of 12:30 pm sunday the 10th  EST we are just about 1 day or 0.02166 I rounded up.

I am considering to turn the current host mode to cloud hashrate mode and send mining earning to customer each day according to 96% PPS,
then you will not need to worry about the mining status and i donot need to calculate downtime compensation.
meanwhile, i will still show the miner status on our website, when the website is restore to confirm the miner is real

So... you can't manage a single website and think it's good to control all mining through some so called cloud?  Worst idea ever.  Then no way to know if you truly have machine or if you are emulating one just sending daily payment.   And you AntPool is 2.5 percent.... so you mine there and get 1.5 percent of all miners?  Or you mine at F2pool and you keep all the merged mining... slimy idea.

You already are selling units for 1150 when Bitmain B9 is 860.  And you are not happy with profit?  What happened to all the Avalon gear you claimed to buying?

No matter what your engineer's not worth squat.  Can't manage simple website.  Last think you needs is to turn to cloud mining.  And you know everyone bought unit's not cloud.   You are doing cloud to make it easier for you on pool changing and down machine, and also to make a profit off mining them all.  Either pool you choose your either making 1.5 percent off AntPool.  Or making the merged mining of f2.  So berry sad.

Personally don't like the idea, because almost all "cloud" mining operations couldn't resist to possibility of confirming one miner is real multiple times. I believe that You are very honest person, but I don't think I would ever joined Your farm if it was "cloud hashing" project. Too many sad stories with "cloud hashing" till now. Anyhow, it's Your farm and Your decision. One that is not satisfied with conditions can always sell or deliver the miners.

Last time I logged into the site there was an option to pay balance, but that was gone due to the site being down.

Li when will be the last day to pay? need to withdraw BTC from a cloud mining they always tend to be a trouble maker on fund withdrawn.

U see engineer still can't get up website.  He use google form now to get info.  Would not surprise if he go to google form as he and team cant manage a single website.

What is engineer last report on website?   Still it will be fixed need more time or will u go with truth you have no idea how to fix.  I think google form changes in future vs website.

He has always had the google form to fill out miner settings and also another google form to report offline miners.

your site is down, no service, poor service from what I'm reading on here, yet you expect us to pay the balance up in full? this is crazy, I'm almost willing to just risk the loss of my down payment, instead of risking another 1000usd.

I am very sorry for the down of my website, so if any customer lose trust and want to get refund, just told me and i will refund all your pre-paid money in full.
As a matter of fact, we order more than 2000 unit s7 for ourselves so it is no need to scam the customer here :)

Just wanted to say I felt the same way, particularly with the communication issues and down time of webpage etc. I messaged Lee and he immediately offered me a refund on the deposit no questions asked.

I have been hosting with Lee since he first offered the S5's, I can't speak for anyone else but overall I have been very satisfied. He bought out the S5's for basically what I had originally paid for them and I have 2 S7's currently hosted and just bought 2 more. I will agree there has been some glitches especially with the web page but Lee has always answered me by email or PM every time I contacted with a concern.

Everyone should do what the feel is best for them but I an overall pleased with his service and will continue to use him.

U flat out lie.  You said same with Avalon u buying ton of machine yet never happened.   You charge month old price and pocket more profit in grop buy.  You say website go back up, but your engineer cant figure out to bring it online! I promise other he wil push and push to go cloud  someday, just watch.

If you buy so much S7 why not go to batch 9 price? Give us back $250 extra over batch 9.  You know you can do it as you paid batch 9 price or less.

I just want to add that Lee refunded my deposit without asking any question, I didn't even ask for it. This tells me how honest he is. If I ever decide to host a rig in China, I will definitely go with Lee, probably when S8 or S9 (?) comes out.

It's not the price rather a change in plan. I also transferred a lower priced S7 from Philip to me to a member here so definitely not the price. All I did is sent Lee a pm saying my plan has changed and I would like to cancel my reservation. He agreed and refunded my non-refundable deposit.

I also changed my plans and had asked Lee for a refund a few days back (I actually asked that he ship the miner to me, but he suggested just cancelling the order because it'd be cheaper for me to order directly from Bitmain).  He obliged with no problems.

I decided instead of having miners all over that I'm going to centralize them all.

The power supply of our farm is cut off because of electricity network accident, not sure when it can be restore, all s7 is effected but s5 is not.

first, 950 donot include psu, second, this price is only for foreign customer, bitmain need add 17% tax for Chinese customer, so they canot set the price as 950 for me

BTW, i will pay the compensation to the next diff now,  the next diff should adjust on 8th Feb， so total 12 days from 27th Jan. according to 100%pps, 0.0042 btc/T/day, so each s7 will got 0.0042*4.73*12=0.2384 btc

My miners have been dropping hashrate consistently and turning off daily for the last month. I have been trying to calculate for comp purposes but its getting to difficult to keep up with the downtime daily. can you please look into my miners or update the situation. I have also asked for a pool change so I can track the downtime easier since your website continues to be down.

Li my S7 has the same situation suddenly dropped hashrate to 4.05T since last night 2200 Beijing Time, I'm hashing at BW I don't think there is any issue with BW.

Good question, i completely missed that part of the bill that said we must pay more than a month worth of mining for each device. Especially, since the invoice period is documented as 2016-2-21— 2016-3-20.

He added the 2 compensation periods of 12 days per period.  So 24 days miners were not online for us but compensated + 2/21/16 - 3/20/16 30 days gives us the 54 days. 

I was hoping to get a hosting cut on the compensated period to make up for the price we got locked in to when Bitmain lowered their later Batch prices.

I agree + I mine on Kano where return is more than 100%.

This. Of course he compensated, but also did not have power cost for the miners. In the end this lowers our compensation to the PPS value - hosting. We could have earned more depending on the selected pool.

Absolutely! Apart from this - if anyone is interested in the stratum-proxy configuration referenced by superbull a couple of posts before, i am currently building a stratum-proxy[1] setup in my AWS account to support easier pool failover / switching without bothering (and waiting for) Lee.

It already kind of works, but there are some issues with the configuration that i am not 100% happy about and testing. I am still testing before doing the final switch and also asked superbull for some hints he might be able to share.

If there is enough interest, i will do a write-up.

That's a fairly working hack for sure, too. Did not think about that one yet and the good thing about this is, that it can even be monitored easily ;-)
Only caveat: worker names and stuff have to be consistent across pools.

The main reason i want to go via this proxy is that i have one central web interface (the stratum-proxy has a decent one) under my control where i can tell Lee Team once to point my miners to the proxy as first pool and change all pool priorities, worker settings and more myself after that. It's really a win-win.

if your proxy is outside of China you'll end up against the Great Firewall of China and your miners will not be able to reach it (stably at least).

So you'll need to have a pool inside China at least as a backup.

I'm mining with Lee since the beginning of 2014 and in the end I was forced to use Chinese pools to have reliable mining (I was using Slush's proxy running in a datacenter in Europe).

You shouldn't worry, Li will compensate any downtime exceeding 14 hours a month.

No, my two S7 are hashing fine now and have been in the past 24 hours.

I haven't had any down time at all on f2pool or really any slow variances.  Maybe you need to evaluate the pool you are mining on?  I'm not saying that is the cause of the problem but from what I've read is pools like kano, etc drop fairly often here.

How can you rule out the pool and the china firewall? I know you don't want to hear it but everyone has said it before that if you're getting these miners you should point at F2pool or antpool or another Chinese pool. Pcfli should just say that too at this point.

Kano will not ripe off your hashrates, also CentOS will tell how many inbound and outbound connections with source port /addr,  dest port / addr info, i used to hve 8 inbound from Li hosting ip and 8 outbound after NAT'ed to Kano, now I have ony 4 inbound from Li Hosting and 4 outbound after NAT'ed to Kano

You don't get the story it is not a matter of how much hashrate i'm running it is a matter of miner disappeared either someone powered off my miners or someone changed my miners config for some reasons, issue reported to Li yesterday and still no followup things.

Sorry for the long time miss from forum, my astrill canot work properly.
Currently, i face two main issue with new s7 miner
1: some s7 canot perform as stable as  advertised.
     Our engineer still try to find the reason why some s7 is under performance, the problem may caused by the psu we use,
     we will  order some bitmain's psu to check whether we can resolve this issue.
2: we donot send the downtime compensation for the last month.
     we will send the compensation to all old s7(4.66T) owner according to 18 hours downtime for last month.
      The compensation will be 0.004*18/24*4.66=0.014 btc  for each old s7.

Starting today i am also seeing large spread on the hashrate of my 2xS7. Hashrate varies between 6.5T - 11.3T, which might indeed be a sign of a fickle PSU.

My downtime was much less than a day, so i guess that's not an issue. I suggest we collect all expected compensations and the payment status here or in another thread to make it easier to track for US and Lee.

Welp I'm finally experiencing 3 down miners since 5:00 am this morning.

What's the latest on how much it will cost to ship the S5 units to the US when they end hosting in a few days?

Based on the email I received from pcfli, I can pay for shipping and sell them on ebay and still make more than he was offering to repurchase them.

be warned BW is likely having problem they are accepting your shares but your dashboard will show zero hashrate no payouts at all
i was mining PPS at BW in the past few days and since yesterday all my miners suddenly gone down no fallback so i pointed my home S3 to BW to confirm who to blame and i can tell you it is 100% BW problem, i hv switched pool to BTCC and things are back in normal now.
my home S3 is still connecting to BW directly but still no show on the dashboard as of this momment

Sorry for the long time miss from forum, my astrill canot work properly.
Currently, i face two main issue with new s7 miner
1: some s7 canot perform as stable as  advertised.
     Our engineer still try to find the reason why some s7 is under performance, the problem may caused by the psu we use,
     we will  order some bitmain's psu to check whether we can resolve this issue.
2: we donot send the downtime compensation for the last month.
     we will send the compensation to all old s7(4.66T) owner according to 18 hours downtime for last month.
      The compensation will be 0.004*18/24*4.66=0.014 btc  for each old s7.


I am still waiting for above compensation which you still did not send

Kano pool is paying out according pplns, it is possible that they pay out more than 100%pps, but it is also possible that they pay out less than 100% pps if they got bad luck. so i think 100% pps is still fair for a long run of 20+days
as for downtime, i will arrange the 30-12=18 hours downtime compensation.

Honestly guy's I bought one from Cryptominer.ca and never regretted hosting with him.

I know this thread just screams issues. Glad I switched.

I've been overall pretty satisfied with my uptime on the miners.  I do wish the hosting price could come down some, but that was known coming in.  Yeah it does take some time to get a response but it is normally resonable.  I haven't experienced selling my hosted miners yet so in the next few months I will be interested in how that process works and what value S7's are going for in the China market.

Last year was fine with S5, this year has been sketchy with downtime and under hashing S7

Plus the website is non existent to monitor the miners

I'm satisfied too, but also expecting lowering the maintenance prices. Right now, Bitmain's Hashnest maintenance is roughly 20% lower than Li's maintenance fee. With new generation of ASIC coming 20% could be the decision is it or not profitable.

Has anyone received last months down time? I had 48 hrs and see the miners are off again now as well since 6 hours.

Is there a better way to submit downtime than on the sheet we make our fee payments on? I don't feel the need to overload him with emails but if that's what it takes in the end I guess it's what I would do.

miners back online finally, 39.6 hours x 3 units = total 118.5 total downtime.

also i noticed that Li has recently changed his internet access from China Telecom x.x.x.70 to China Unicom x.x.x.223, my pool stats is showing a lot reject and miner fallback in the past 3 hours, ping test from my proxy to Unicom ip got almost 10% packet drop with 120ms turnaround avg ,anyway 120ms is OK but severe packet drop must degrade hashing performance, not sure if anyone seeing the same

Same here. Still waiting and hoping all of his time away is either searching for ways to lower power cost or a psu solution for low hashrates. Still seems like my 4.66 TH/s S7 is underperforming when I check it on F2Pool well under 4 TH/s most of the time.

what the hell power transformer problem again and again? all S7 down since 0715 Beijing time today, 4.66 and 4.73.
as usual bw.com hashrates dropped from 81.63P to 68P at same time.

My Machines was going down and up for last 8 hrs and my friend who also host with lee has all is machines down.

No downtime for me at the moment (and for a while).

I have 6 S7 and i get 4.1 THS  per S7 . Last few days it keep dropping the speed for every 6 hrs. Send email still no reply. Same thing happen for my Friend who have 4 S7 .

Anyone having trouble getting their equipment from li?  My machines have been offline since the 17th and should have arrived here by now.  I have inquired 2x and still no information or tracking number.

Li i believe you hv replaced the bad power supply miner is running fine for 5 hours by now.
If you say we hv to pick option 1 or 2 no other options i would say you are now ripping off people, 4.73 miners been online only 100 days and i spent appr 23 BTC  for the miners you can figure out how much i gonna loss. Don't blame S7 or GFW all problems i hv were caused by your infrastructure issues, your grid power, your power supply.
Back in 2015 Umisoo sold their customer base to Bitmaintech and transferred all the hosted miners to Hashnest with 1:1 ratio, though it was not a fair trade at least they gave me a chance to sell off my hashrates on market at a reasonable price.

When you sold S7 to us it was well above market price and you was ready to drop the price because you  mentioned that we signed the contract with company and can not reduce the price. I host 6 S7 with you for which i spend (16 BTC for first two in Dec and more than 12 BTC for next 4). I am well short of my investment . Do you think so this offer is acceptable for me ?

I think it's simply not acceptable at this point. You might keep in mind that you wanted to switch your business to OTC and it's your duty to make it as smooth and fair as possible for your existing customers. Otherwise you are gambling with your reputation for a couple of BTC.

You heard a couple of very reasonable offers by your customers now, please honor them and refund as sincere and fair as you did in the past for the delay and downtimes.
 

Currently for my 6 S7 speed is 20 THS . It is same for many weeks now.

It is getting worst day by day.

Li If you think you want to go out of Hosting business let us know rather than we are in limbo where we do not have any clue.

If the issue is with S7 quality then issue has to be for every S7 not only to S7 which was supplied to you.

The root problem i believe is they (li and partners) has recently adding too many miners in the DC causing too high temperature and power overload, as i said before everytime we hv power outage BW will drop a hugh amount of hashrates at same time, whenever BW adding more hashrates we will suffer as well. Don't we see BW has added 30P more hashrates since last Monday?

Spent 7 btc for a 4.66 and 23 btc for the 4.73, paid total 7.2149 hosting fees, 3.0926 compensation rec'd, adding up all payouts from pools and what so called 0.92 buy back money finally i realize i loss 11 btc for this fucking hosting, the biggest loss i ever seen since i started mining in 2014, wtf

Same here with all my calculation i will well above 11 BTC + .  In terms of compensation according to Li if he do not aware of any official hosting down then it is not down time.

Hosting was started with agreement that at customer request miners and PSUs will be sent to it's owners with a reasonable shipping price. So there is no place for desperate posts about loses. If somebody is not satisfied with renting performance it can ask for shipping price. But, in a case of cancelling renting agreement from Lee, fair offer would be shipping expenses to be covered by himself, that would cover not-mining shipping period.

Hosting agreement started on basis to provide good hosting which Lee not providing as per agreement. We paid more than market rate for S7 not because we have more money to spend but on promise to get good service. Does he gave the good services for last 100 days ?

About buy back option or giving PPS income options came  directly form lee so what's wrong about posting loses in forum.

so Mr:Chup  Above option is given by Lee and if any one not happy about and loosing BTC which is his hard earn money (Not sure about you) he is entitled to put what he/she like.

Quick edit: Li sent over the BTC and we're square. Luckily I have not had the issues some have had and can say only good things about my experience with Li the past two years. Keep in mind I used F2pool and that certainly contributed to the stability and uptime I'm sure.

Last 100 days for my miners are perfect. Mining on F2pool and Antpool. If You mine on pools out of China with China based hosting, You can expect outages. I had big problem in my first 100 days. Defective S7 that was returned to factory. 25 days off. Who's loss is bigger? In a first 100 days or last 100 days? So stop panicking around and prepare downtime calculation for compensation, You know that Lee compensates Your type of downtime, don't You?

He compensate only if Lee aware of any outage not individual machine (Still website is down)

Agreement never says  you have to us F2pool or Antpool (Both are cheaters any way) .

I still trust Lee but he need to sort his act to reply to emails and keep note of down time of each machines.

Simply not true. That's why You are receiving e-mail to claim YOUR miner downtime. But miner, not pools. You did bad choice of pools regarding geo-position of miner. It's Your choice.
BTW, never enough money. That's why I'm not considering myself as moneywise rich.

People say China miners must mine at China pool and this is not true, GFW increase latency not blocking any well known bitcoin ports e.g. 3333, 8333, 9332, 9333 etc.
People (indeed li said) i mine at pools outside China causing problems and this is not true at all, i'm connecting Slush pool via their CN node that is 100% China pool.
I'm a CxIE with 20xxx number I know internet well, you people always been misled by the Chinese, GFW is simply a hardware firewall with deep packet inspection functionality that's all.

EDIT: network engineer is not a coder, network engineer always troubleshoot with span port and packet analyzer doesn't mean he is capable in developing a protocol suite by himself

well according to earlier post of DC overload, it sounds like half the DC'S S7's could be fried ;\
hence some are getting fine hash and others having your scenario.
it was a great group buy, but mining went insane last 4 months+ , and Li, tho a great guy, mismanaged it into a hole ;\
cut your losses, this is the risk of mining, sell while you can , S9 will HOPEFULLY be soon. (tho BMT's shody machines are not meant for the conditions these were in they are seriously cheap chinese crap)

He will get back to you. I may be one of a few but I had a fairly ran hosting for the last few months. It may take some time to get replies via email but he always got back to me and compensated for my down time which was minimal over the course of hosting. 

The difficulty increase in 2016 was not his fault and the Bitmain price drop after initiating the group buy wasn't either which were two tough starting factors I don't think pcfli can be blamed totally for. Thanks for running an honest host pcfli!

Something is very wrong with Your math. Starting with 110-14.5=95.5 and finishing with missing calculation for maintenance per hour price.
I admit that Lee's maintenance price is around 15-20% higher than Hashnest maintenance price, but it's the price having real physical S7 instead of virtual one.

Ok.

95.5 hrs down time for each machine after 14.5 hrs deducation)  * 0.00010093 (Per hr compensation)  = 0.009638815  (Per machine) * 4 (For 4 S7)  = 0.03855526 BTC as compensation for 4 machines.


So in short Bombay received 0.03855526 as compensation ( $14)  for 4 S7 down time ( 110-14.5=95.5) . During those hrs bombay got paid more than $49 as maintenance fee .



 

 

Bombay claims receiving 0.04BTC. He claims Lee accepted 110h downtime. Compensation price derived from upper calculation is not real compensation price. Upper compensation price is per TH, not per S7. Lee was very precise in math before, such a big error is not his style.

I got my 2 S-5 Units back from Li a couple of weeks ago.  Just sold them locally.  Seeing the shape these showed up in (dirty, dusty, etc), it's no wonder there are issues.

So you finally realize what everybody repeatedly said for months? As far as i know, nobody heard anything about Lee for a long time now. Except invoices of course. Unfortunately, you will have to acclimatize with the fact these miners wont be shipped to you. I hope they will!

Finally I got fair offer for buyback. No other options so I did accepted. Will report when buyback is received.

Now I don't get it. Two out of three S7 this morning started mining again. Still no offer for shipping, no buyback paid. Go figure...

I can only guess but as far as i know Lee has autostart mechanisms in place for most of his miners and doesn't read his mail anymore. You can probably enjoy your miners until they die in one of Lees closets.

Received the Payout today from Lee for the Buyback of my S7.   8)

I'll probably arrange shipment to sidehack for S7 hack. Mining stop was not intentional but because of blackout according to Lee. Will inform about progress.

My last free S7 miner disappeared last week. Chapter finally closed.

Lee shipped my 3 S7s without PSUs. I paid 300$ for when I was purchasing miners from him. He was "generous" to offer 60$ buyback for 3 PSUs he kept. I was not satisfied, so he raised buyback to 120$. I spent 240$ for new PSUs at the new maintenance place. This is the first time that Lee was not fair towards me as a customer. Thinking about taking back trust points I gave him before. If possible.
