Title: Rebuilding blockchain
Post by: SuperLed on December 13, 2015, 05:17:08 PM
Happened to me couple of time that wallet-qt had to rebuild whole blockchain. From unknown reason or if I upgraded client to newer version. This process really takes a long time, but why is this happening?

It should not resync after an update. Can you look in the debug.log if there is anything that might help?

No, closing bitcoin core, installing over the existing version and reopening always worked for me.
